Claims (14)
- セルラーおよび無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)キャリアの集約をサポートするセルラーベースの無線アクセス技術(RAT)およびWLANベースのRATを利用することに向けられた、無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)において実施される方法であって、
前記セルラーベースのRATを利用する第1の無線アクセスノードから、WLAN測定オブジェクトを受信するステップであって、前記WLAN測定オブジェクトは、前記WLANベースのRATを利用する無線アクセスノードのセットを特定するWLAN識別子の第1のセットを含んでいる、ステップと、
WLAN測定報告のレポーティングをトリガする設定されたイベントを検出するステップと、
前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、前記WLAN測定報告を送るステップであって、前記WLAN測定報告は、WLAN識別子の前記第1のセットの内の複数のWLAN識別子と、前記複数のWLAN識別子の各々に対する受信信号強度インジケータ(RSSI)とを含んでいる、ステップと、
前記第1の無線アクセスノードから、前記WLANベースのRATを利用する複数の候補無線アクセスノードを特定するWLAN識別の第2のセットを含むメッセージを受信するステップであって、WLAN識別の前記第2のセットの内の前記WTRU識別子は、報告された前記複数のWLAN識別子のいくつかまたはすべてに対応している、ステップと、
前記複数の候補無線アクセスノードを使用して、WLAN接続の確立、再確立または維持を試みるステップと、
前記WLAN接続が確立されないか、再確立されないか、または、維持されていない条件で、前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、(i)WLAN接続失敗および(ii)前記WLAN接続失敗の原因を示している接続状態報告を生成しおよび送るステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記WTRUは、前記第1の無線アクセスノードを経由して確立された接続に従ってRRC接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記WLAN接続が確立されたか、再確立されたか、または、維持されている条件で、前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、WLAN接続の成功を示している接続状態報告を生成しおよび送るステップ
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記WLAN接続が確立されたか、再確立されたか、または、維持されている条件で、前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、WLAN接続の成功を示している接続状態報告を送るステップ
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記WLAN接続が確立されないか、再確立されないか、または、維持されていない条件で、前記WLAN接続と関連付けられたデータベアラを中止するステップ
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 各々のWLAN識別子は、サービスセット識別子(SSID)および基本サービスセット識別子(BSSID)のいずれかを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記セルラーベースのRATは、ロングタームエヴォルーション(LTE)アクセス技術およびLTEアドバンスアクセス技術のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 受信機、プロセッサおよび送信機を含む回路を備え、セルラーおよび無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)キャリアの集約をサポートするセルラーベースの無線アクセス技術(RAT)およびWLANベースのRATを利用するよう構成された無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
前記セルラーベースのRATを利用する第1の無線アクセスノードから、WLAN測定オブジェクトを受信するよう構成された前記受信機であって、前記WLAN測定オブジェクトは、前記WLANベースのRATを利用する無線アクセスノードのセットを特定するWLAN識別子の第1のセットを含んでいる、前記受信機と、
WLAN測定報告のレポーティングをトリガする設定されたイベントを検出し、および、
複数のWLAN識別子の前記第1のセットの内の複数のWTRU識別子と、前記複数のWLAN識別子の各々に対する受信信号強度インジケータ(RSSI)とを含んでいるWLAN測定報告を生成するよう構成された前記プロセッサと、
前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、前記WLAN測定報告を送るよう構成された前記送信機と、
前記第1の無線アクセスノードから、前記WLANベースのRATを利用する複数の候補無線アクセスノードを特定するWLAN識別の第2のセットを含むメッセージを受信するよう構成され、WLAN識別の前記第2のセットの内の前記WTRU識別子は、報告された前記複数のWLAN識別子のいくつかまたはすべてに対応している、前記受信機と、
前記複数の候補無線アクセスノードを使用して、WLAN接続の確立、再確立および維持を試み、および、
前記WLAN接続が確立されないか、再確立されないか、または、維持されていない条件で、前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、(i)WLAN接続失敗および(ii)前記WLAN接続失敗の原因を示している接続状態報告を生成するよう構成された、前記プロセッサと、
前記接続状態報告を送るよう構成された前記送信機と
を備えたことを特徴とするWTRU。 - 前記WTRUは、前記第1の無線アクセスノードを経由して確立された接続に従ってRRC接続されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記WLAN接続が確立されたか、再確立されたか、または、維持されている条件で、前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、WLAN接続の成功を示している接続状態報告を生成するよう構成され、
前記送信機は、前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、WLAN接続の成功を示している前記接続状態報告を送るよう構成されたこと
を特徴とする請求項8に記載のWTRU。 - 前記プロセッサおよび前記送信機は、前記WLAN接続が確立されたか、再確立されたか、または、維持されている条件で、前記第1の無線アクセスノードへ、WLAN接続の成功を示している接続状態報告を送るよう構成されたこと
を特徴とする請求項8に記載のWTRU。 - 前記WLAN接続が確立されないか、再確立されないか、または、維持されていない条件で、前記プロセッサは、前記WLAN接続と関連付けられたデータベアラを中止するようさらに構成されたことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のWTRU。
- 各々のWLAN識別子は、サービスセット識別子(SSID)および基本サービスセット識別子(BSSID)のいずれかを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のWTRU。
- 前記セルラーベースのRATは、ロングタームエヴォルーション(LTE)アクセス技術およびLTEアドバンスアクセス技術のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のWTRU。
