Claims (14)
- 近位端部と遠位端部とを有する細長い管状本体;
前記細長い管状本体の前記遠位端部に位置する拡張可能な要素;及び
第1の圧縮比を有する第1の部分と、前記第1の圧縮比とは異なる第2の圧縮比を有する第2の部分とを含む、拡張可能な管状スリーブ
を備える医療装置であって、
前記第1の部分は、前記第1の圧縮比によって決まる第1の半径方向強度を有し、前記第2の部分は、前記第2の圧縮比によって決まる第2の半径方向強度を有し、
前記拡張可能な要素は、前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの前記第1の半径方向強度及び前記第2の半径方向強度によって決まる拡張のシーケンスを有し、
前記圧縮比は、前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの軸方向における、被圧縮部分の圧縮後の長さに対する、前記軸方向の圧縮量の比率として定義される、医療装置。 - 前記拡張可能な管状スリーブは、前記拡張可能な要素の内側に配置される、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡張可能な管状スリーブは、前記拡張可能な要素の外側に配置される、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡張可能な要素は機械的に拡張される請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡張可能な要素は均一な厚さを有する請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡張可能な管状スリーブは拡張後に均一な壁厚さを有する請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡張可能な管状スリーブは、多孔性微細構造を有する1つまたは複数の材料を含む請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数の材料は、延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項7に記載の医療装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数の材料は、超高分子量ポリエチレンを含む、請求項7に記載の医療装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数の材料は、フィブリル化材料を含む、請求項7に記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの前記第1の部分は、前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの遠位端部部分と近位端部部分とを含み、前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの前記第2の部分は、前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの中央または中間部分を含む、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 近位端部と遠位端部とを有する細長い管状本体;
前記細長い管状本体の前記遠位端部に位置する拡張可能な要素;及び
異なる圧縮比を有する少なくとも2つの部分を含む、拡張可能な管状スリーブ
を備える医療装置であって、
前記異なる圧縮比は異なる半径方向強度を決定し、
前記拡張可能な要素は、前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの前記異なる半径方向強度によって決まる前記少なくとも2つの部分の拡張のシーケンスを有し、
前記圧縮比は、前記拡張可能な管状スリーブの軸方向における、被圧縮部分の圧縮後の長さに対する、前記軸方向の圧縮量の比率として定義される、医療装置。 - 前記拡張可能な管状スリーブは、前記拡張可能な要素の内側に配置される、請求項12に記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡張可能な管状スリーブは、前記拡張可能な要素の外側に配置される、請求項12に記載の医療装置。
