Description
本発明は、エポキシ官能性樹脂、耐食性粒子、ならびに、エポキシ官能基と架橋することになる第1の官能基および自己架橋する第2の官能基を有する架橋剤を含むコーティング用組成物に関する。本発明はまた、このような組成物に由来するコーティング剤が堆積することで少なくとも部分的にコーティングされている基材、ならびに、このようなコーティング用組成物に由来する少なくとも一つのコーティング層が堆積している複数構成成分系複合コーティングに関する。
コーティング剤は、いくつかの理由で、通常、腐食保護および/または性能強化のため、電気器具、自動車、航空機などに施用される。金属基材の耐食性を改善するために、腐食防止剤が、通常、該基材に施用されるコーティング剤において使用される。一般の腐食防止剤は、クロム酸ストロンチウムであり、これは、金属基材、とりわけアルミニウム基材に対して優れた耐食性をもたらす。しかし、クロム酸ストロンチウムなどの腐食防止剤は高い毒性と発がん性を有し、その使用は、環境面での懸念および廃棄問題を引き起こす、廃棄物の流れの生成をもたらす。

本発明は、第1の構成成分中にエポキシ官能性樹脂および耐食性粒子を、そして第2の構成成分中に架橋剤を含む、複数構成成分系コーティング用組成物を対象とする。この架橋剤は、二つの機序によって架橋をもたらす官能基を有する。第1に、この架橋剤は、エポキシ樹脂上のエポキシ官能基と反応する官能基を含む。この架橋剤は、自己架橋を経験し得る第2の官能基も含む。自己架橋に加え、ある特定の実施形態では、第2の官能基は、接着促進剤として作用することもできる。

- 前記アミン触媒が第三級アミンを含む、請求項9に記載のコーティング用組成物。
