Claims (14)
- 身体に用いられる埋め込み可能な医用リードのための電極であって、
外側絶縁性カバーが取り付けられた所定の長さの第1の導電性ワイヤ及び絶縁されていない所定の長さの第2の導電性ワイヤを含んでいて、
該第2の導電性ワイヤは、加熱されることにより該外側絶縁性カバーに破れが生じる状態で、該第1の導電性ワイヤの外側絶縁性カバーまわりに螺旋状に設けられており、該第1の導電性ワイヤと該第2の導電性ワイヤが該第1の導電性ワイヤの該外側絶縁性カバーの破れを通じて電気的に通じるようにされている電極。 - 前記第1と第2の導電性ワイヤが異なる金属からなる、請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記第2の導電性ワイヤが貴金属である、請求項2に記載の電極。
- 前記第2の導電性ワイヤが白金を含む、請求項3に記載の電極。
- 前記第2の導電性ワイヤが白金とイリジウムの合金を含む、請求項3に記載の電極。
- 前記第1の導電性ワイヤが多重編みワイヤである、請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記第2の導電性ワイヤが中実ワイヤである、請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記第1と第2の導電性ワイヤの上に位置する導電性ポリマー材料からなる外側カバーが取り付けられている、請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記導電性ポリマー材料がフルオロポリマーである、請求項8に記載の電極。
- 前記導電性ポリマー材料が、炭素が含まれた空隙を有する延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項9に記載の電極。
- 前記絶縁性カバーがフルオロポリマーである、請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記フルオロポリマーがポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項11に記載の電極。
- 前記フルオロポリマーが、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとフッ素化エチレンプロピレンを含む、請求項11に記載の電極。
- 前記第1の導電性ワイヤが、複数の線が第1のピッチで編まれた編みワイヤであり、前記第2の導電性ワイヤが、前記第1のピッチよりも細かい第2のピッチで螺旋状に巻かれた中実ワイヤである、請求項1に記載の電極。
