Description
本発明では、熱可塑性エラストマー組成物の製造プロセスは、動的架橋アロイを低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤と架橋後混合することを含み、DVAは、少なくとも1つの熱可塑性樹脂を含む連続相中にドメインとして分散されたイソブチレンエラストマー成分を含む。
A.架橋後動的架橋アロイ及び低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤を含み、動的架橋アロイが、少なくとも1つの熱可塑性樹脂を含む連続相中にドメインとして分散されたイソブチレンエラストマー成分を含む、熱可塑性エラストマー組成物。
B.架橋後動的架橋アロイを低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤と混合することを含む、熱可塑性エラストマー組成物の製造プロセスであって、動的架橋アロイが、少なくとも1つの熱可塑性樹脂を含む連続相中にドメインとして分散されたイソブチレンエラストマー成分を含む、プロセス。
C.少なくとも1つの熱可塑性樹脂を含む連続相中にドメインとして分散されたイソブチレンエラストマー成分を動的架橋して架橋後動的架橋アロイを生成すること;及び動的架橋アロイを低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤と混合して熱可塑性エラストマー組成物を生成することを含む、熱可塑性エラストマー組成物の製造プロセス。
D.以下を含むプロセスによって製造された熱可塑性エラストマー組成物:ポリアミドを含む連続相中にドメインとして分散された10phr以下の硬化剤又は架橋剤を含むハロゲン化イソブチレンエラストマー成分を動的架橋して架橋後動的架橋アロイを生成すること;及び架橋後動的架橋アロイを低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤と混合して熱可塑性エラストマー組成物を生成すること。
E.動的架橋アロイの粘度を低減し且つ紫外線抵抗性を改善する方法であって、動的架橋アロイを低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤と混合して安定化された組成物を生成することを含み、動的架橋アロイが、ポリアミドを含む連続相中にドメインとして分散されたイソブチレンエラストマー成分を含む、方法。
F.老化後の組成物の引張強度が、前記老化前に決定された組成物の引張強度より大きい、実施形態A〜Eのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
G.老化後の組成物の破断伸びが、前記老化前に決定された組成物の破断伸びより大きい、実施形態A〜Fのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
H.イソブチレンエラストマー成分がハロゲン化されている、実施形態A〜Gのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
I.イソブチレンエラストマーが組成物の95〜25重量部を構成し、ポリアミドが組成物の5〜75重量部を構成し、ハロゲン化イソブチレンエラストマー及びポリアミドの総重量部が合計100になる、実施形態A〜Hのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
J.安定剤が、1.5phr以上で組成物中に存在する、実施形態A〜Iのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
K.安定剤が、20又は10phr又は8phr以下で組成物中に存在する、実施形態A〜Jのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
L.イソブチレンエラストマー成分が臭素化ポリ(イソブチレン−コ−p−メチルスチレン)を含む、実施形態A〜Kのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
M.ポリアミドが、ナイロン6、ナイロン66、ナイロン11、ナイロン69、ナイロン12、ナイロン610、ナイロン612、ナイロン48、ナイロンMXD6、ナイロン6/66、及びこれらのコポリマーからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのメンバーである、実施形態A〜Lのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
N.低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤が一般式:
O.R2〜R12のいずれかが、個々に、H又はC1〜C10ヒドロカルビル基から選択される、実施形態Nに記載の発明。
P.低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤の分子量が約500g/mol以下である、実施形態A〜Oのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
Q.低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤がジアリール−p−フェニレンジアミンを含む、実施形態A〜Pのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
R.低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤がN−(1,3−ジメチルブチル)−N′−フェニル−p−フェニレンジアミンである、実施形態A〜Qのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
S.組成物が、カーボンブラック、脂肪酸、ワックス、酸化防止剤、硬化剤、炭酸カルシウム、クレー、シリカ、紫外線吸収剤、オゾン劣化防止剤、粘着付与剤、ZnO、CuI、スコーチ防止剤、又はこれらの組合せを更に含む、実施形態A〜Rのいずれか1項に記載の発明。
Claims (6)
- 安定化した熱可塑性エラストマー組成物を製造するために、動的架橋アロイの溶融粘度を低減する方法であって、該方法は、
少なくとも1つの熱可塑性樹脂を含む連続相中にドメインとして分散されたイソブチレンエラストマー成分を含む動的架橋アロイを得ること、
動的架橋アロイを加熱して、動的架橋アロイを少なくとも部分的に溶融すること、及び
熱可塑性エラストマー組成物を製造するために、動的架橋アロイを、イソブチレンエラストマー成分100重量部を基準として2〜20重量部の低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤からなる安定剤と溶融混合して、動的架橋アロイの溶融粘度を低減すること
を含み、
低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤が一般式
(式中、R 1 は、C 1 〜C 20 ヒドロカルビル基であり、R 2 、R 3 、R 4 、R 5 、R 6 、R 7 、R 8 、R 9 、R 10 、R 11 、及びR 12 は、個々に、H又はC 1 〜C 20 ヒドロカルビル基である。)
で表される、方法(ただし、低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤がN−(1,3−ジメチルブチル)−N’−フェニル−p−フェニレンジアミンである場合を除く。)。 - 老化後の前記組成物の引張強度が、前記老化前に決定された前記組成物の引張強度より大きいか、老化後の前記組成物の破断伸びが、前記老化前に決定された前記組成物の破断伸びより大きい、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記イソブチレンエラストマー成分が95〜25重量部を構成し、前記熱可塑性樹脂が5〜75重量部を構成し、前記イソブチレンエラストマー成分及び熱可塑性樹脂の総重量部が合計100になる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤の分子量が500g/mol以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記低分子量芳香族アミン安定剤がジアリール−p−フェニレンジアミンを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの熱可塑性樹脂が、ナイロン6、ナイロン66、ナイロン11、ナイロン69、ナイロン12、ナイロン610、ナイロン612、ナイロン48、ナイロンMXD6、ナイロン6/66、及びこれらのコポリマーからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのポリアミドである、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
