Description
本出願は、同時係属中の仮米国出願シリアル番号第61/692,058号(出願日:2012年8月22日)への優先権を主張し、同出願の恩恵を主張する。本明細書中、同文献を参考のため援用する。
以下の表は、ゲル化剤を用いた不織布とゲル化剤を用いない不織布との間の比較を示す。用いた不織布は、40wt%の溶解性繊維(セルロース)および60wt%の非溶解性繊維(ポリエステル)を有するGlatfelterのDYNAGRID328NGペーストペーパー(基本重量28gsm)とした。
Claims (19)
- 鉛酸電池用電池セパレータであって、
酸溶解性繊維および非酸溶解性繊維の混合物を含む不織布と、
前記不織布上に含侵されたゲルと、を含み、
前記酸溶解性繊維の前記非酸溶解性繊維に対する重量比は、約20〜80:20〜80の範囲内であり、
前記ゲルが含浸された不織布は1000l/m2・sを超える多孔性を有する、電池セパレータ。 - 前記不織布は基本重量を有し、前記ゲルの基本重量は、前記不織布基本重量の約20〜160%の範囲内である、請求項1に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記ゲルはシリカゲルである、請求項1に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記酸溶解性繊維はセルロース繊維である、請求項1に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記非酸溶解性繊維は、ポリマーおよび/またはガラス繊維である、請求項1に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記ゲル含浸不織布へ接着された細孔性膜をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記膜はポリマー充填膜である、請求項6に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記ポリマーはポリオレフィンである、請求項7に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記ポリマー充填膜はフィラー含み、前記フィラーはシリカベースの材料である、請求項7に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記膜はリブを有する、請求項6に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記リブは、機械方向および/またはクロス機械方向に延びるリブである、請求項10に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記不織布は、接合により前記膜へ接着される、請求項6に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記接合は接着および/または溶接である、請求項12に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 前記溶接は、圧力、熱、および/または超音波を含む、請求項13に記載の電池セパレータ。
- 請求項1に記載の電池セパレータを含む鉛蓄電池。
- 鉛酸電池用電池セパレータであって、
非溶解性繊維、およびゲル製の管の混合物を含む不織布
を含む、電池セパレータ。 - 請求項16に記載の電池セパレータを含む鉛蓄電池。
- 鉛酸電池用の複合電池セパレータにおいて用いられるゲル含浸不織布であって、前記ゲル含浸不織布は、非溶解性繊維およびゲル製の管の混合物を含む、ゲル含浸不織布。
- 請求項18に記載の不織布を含む鉛蓄電池。
