Description
以上の理由から、食事制限は、筋肉量を低減させることで基礎代謝量が低減し、体重がリバウンドしやすく、返って肥満となりやすい身体となってしまう。そこで効率的なダイエットのために、体脂肪は低減させるが、体脂肪以外の筋肉等の体組織の重量(除脂肪体重)は維持又は増加させ、基礎代謝を維持させることが望まれている。一方で、従来の筋肉増量剤は副作用が懸念され、継続的に経口摂取できるものは少ないため、従来の筋肉増量剤を用いて、ダイエット後の体重のリバウンドを防止しようとすることは、難しかった。
したがって、本発明の課題は、安全性が高い、除脂肪体重の増加に有効な剤を提供することにある。

食物繊維の量(%)=[グリセロール当量(mg/ml)/試料採取量(mg)]×f1×50(ml)×100
(上記式中、f1はグリセリンとブドウ糖のピーク面積の感度比(0.82)である。)
また、ポリデキストロースにおける50質量/体積%水溶液の粘度は、高ければ高いほど良いが、25mPa・s以下であるとポリデキストロースの製造コスト等の面からは好ましい。
ここで、ポリデキストロースの水溶液の濃度が「X質量/体積%」であるとは、該水溶液100ml中に含まれているポリデキストロースの質量がXgであることを意味する。
一例としては、No.1のスピンドルを本体に設置し、調製した80 mLの50質量/体積%のサンプルにスピンドルを一定の位置まで浸す。回転スピードを50rpmに設定し、指針が目盛の0mPa・sを指していることを確認し、モータースイッチを入れる。スピンドル回転開始から1分後の指針の指す数値から粘度を算出して記録する。
被験物質としてポリデキストロース(ポリデキストロース混合物、食物繊維量75%以上、 (B)グルコース及びソルビトールの合計量が3%以下、10質量/体積%水溶液の25℃でのpHが4.0〜6.5)を用いた。
被験物質として難消化性デキストリン(食物繊維量75%以上、数平均分子量約2000、DE13〜18)を用いた。
また、上記の解剖時に、各実施例及び比較例の各群のうちそれぞれ一匹ずつ肝臓を摘出しその質量を求めたところ、比較例1では1.451g、実施例1では1.540g、実施例2では1.734gであり、水溶性食物繊維を投与することで、肝臓の質量が増える傾向があることが判った。

- 難消化性デキストリン及びポリデキストロースから選ばれる少なくとも1種を含有し、難消化性デキストリン又はポリデキストロースに由来する食物繊維の量が75質量%以上である、除脂肪体重の増加剤(メリッサ抽出物を含むものを除く)。
