Claims (18)
- 正極、負極および前記正極と負極との間に配置されたセパレータを含む捲回電極群である電極アセンブリー;
前記電極アセンブリーの中心部に位置し、前記電極アセンブリーに弾性力を加えるように構成された弾性部材;
前記弾性部材と前記電極アセンブリーとの間に位置し、前記弾性部材を少なくとも部分的に包みながら前記弾性部材を圧縮し、前記電極アセンブリーの電解液内で少なくとも部分的に溶解されて前記弾性部材の圧縮を解除するように構成されたポリマー部材;および
前記電極アセンブリー、弾性部材、およびポリマー部材を収容するケース
を含む電池。 - 前記弾性部材を前記弾性部材の外側から包むように形成される管状の前記ポリマー部材は、接着性の内面または接着性の外面を含む、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記弾性部材の長手方向の長さは、前記電極アセンブリーの長手方向の長さと実質的に同一であり、前記長手方向は捲回電極群が巻回した巻回軸の延長方向である、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記ポリマー部材は、ポリスチレン、延伸ポリスチレン、または前記電極アセンブリーの前記電解液により少なくとも部分的に溶解可能な物質を含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記ポリマー部材は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、EPDMまたは電解液に反応しない物質を含む、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記ポリマー部材は、前記ポリマー部材の長手方向に沿って切れて形成され、前記長手方向は捲回電極群が巻回した巻回軸の延長方向である、請求項5に記載の電池。
- 前記ポリマー部材を部分的に囲んでいる伸縮性の支持部材をさらに含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記支持部材は、弾性バンドを含む、請求項7に記載の電池。
- 弾性部材;および
前記弾性部材を少なくとも部分的に包みながら前記弾性部材を圧縮するポリマー部材
を含み、
前記ポリマー部材は、捲回電極群である電極アセンブリーを含む電池の電解液内で少なくとも部分的に溶解されて前記弾性部材の圧縮を解除するように構成された、捲回電極群である電極アセンブリー用の電池コア。 - 前記ポリマー部材は、ポリスチレンまたは延伸ポリスチレンを含む、請求項9に記載の電池コア。
- 前記ポリマー部材は、前記ポリマー部材の側面に沿って切欠を有する、請求項9または10に記載の電池コア。
- 前記ポリマー部材は、
前記ポリマー部材の側面に沿って前記電解液に溶解されるように構成された物質;および
ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、EPDMまたは前記電解液に反応しない物質のうちの少なくとも一つを含む、請求項9乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の電池コア。 - 前記ポリマー部材を部分的に囲んでいる伸縮性の支持部材をさらに含む、請求項9乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の電池コア。
- 前記支持部材は、弾性バンドを含む、請求項13に記載の電池コア。
- 前記ポリマー部材は、射出成形された管を含む、請求項9乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の電池コア。
- コアをケース内に位置した捲回電極群である電極アセンブリーの中心部に挿入する段階;および
キャップ組立体で前記ケースを密封する段階
を含み、
前記コアは、弾性部材と、前記弾性部材の圧縮状態を維持するためのポリマー部材とを含み、
射出成形により前記ポリマー部材を形成する段階をさらに含む、電池の組み立て方法。 - 前記弾性部材の側面端部が互いに近接するか、接触するか、または、重なるように前記弾性部材を曲げることによって前記弾性部材を圧縮する段階を含む、請求項16に記載の電池の組み立て方法。
- 前記ポリマー部材は、前記電池の電解液で少なくとも部分的に溶解される、請求項16または17に記載の電池の組み立て方法。
