Description
図1において、タイヤ回転軸に沿うタイヤ幅方向をWで示し、タイヤ回転軸と直角方向でタイヤ回転軸から離れる方向をタイヤ径方向と言い、Rで示し、タイヤ幅方向W中心を通りタイヤ回転軸と直角な面をタイヤ赤道面と言い、CLで示す。
次に、本実施形態のタイヤ10の分別方法、分別工程について説明する。まず、ビード抜き工程において、図示しないビード抜き機によって、タイヤ骨格部材17のビード部12に埋設されているビードコア15をチャックで把持して引き抜いておく。
まず、タイヤ10を粉砕した後に熱可塑性樹脂(タイヤ骨格部材17)のみを分離する分別方法を試みた結果、熱可塑性樹脂(タイヤ骨格部材17)と、ゴム層(トレッド部材30)とが加硫接着されているため、熱可塑性樹脂のみを分離・分別することは困難であった。
上記実施形態では、サイド切断工程でタイヤ骨格部材17をクラウン部16とサイド部14とに分離した後、別々に裁断工程等を行ったが、サイド切断工程を省略してクラウン部16とサイド部14とに分離することなく、タイヤ10を幅方向に切断し帯状にして分別工程を行うことも可能である。

Claims (5)
- 熱可塑性樹脂からなるタイヤ骨格部材と、前記タイヤ骨格部材のタイヤ径方向外側に配設され、前記タイヤ骨格部材より剛性の高い材料からなる補強部材と、前記タイヤ骨格部材の外面に加硫接着されたゴム層とを備えたタイヤの分別方法であって、
前記タイヤを幅方向に切断して前記タイヤを帯状にする展開工程と、
前記タイヤを圧縮して、前記タイヤ骨格部材と前記ゴム層とを分離するゴム層分離工程と、
帯状にした前記タイヤを圧壊し、前記タイヤ骨格部材と前記補強部材とを分離する補強部材分離工程と、
を備え、
前記ゴム層分離工程が前記補強部材分離工程の前に行われる、タイヤ分別方法。 - 帯状にした前記タイヤを板状に押圧する押圧工程を備え、
前記補強部材分離工程では、板状に押圧された前記タイヤの前記タイヤ骨格部材を、前記タイヤ骨格部材の板厚より間隔が狭く設定された金属ローラで圧壊することで、前記タイヤ骨格部材と前記補強部材とを分離する、請求項1に記載のタイヤ分別方法。 - 前記金属ローラの間隔は、前記補強部材の厚みより広く、前記タイヤ骨格部材の板厚の2%〜20%である、請求項2に記載のタイヤ分別方法。
- 前記補強部材は、金属製のビードまたはコードである、請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤ分別方法。
- 前記補強部材分離工程の雰囲気温度が10℃から40℃である、請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤ分別方法。
