Description

Claims (15)
- 食品製品を保存及び調理するオーブナブル真空スキン包装体であって、容器と、そこにヒートシールされた熱成形複合材料ポリマーフィルムカバーとを含み、前記複合材料ポリマーフィルムカバーが以下を含む、オーブナブル真空スキン包装体:
(i)テレフタル酸、アゼライン酸、エチレングリコール、及びジエチレングリコールの単位を有する第1のコポリエステル材料を少なくとも50重量%含む熱成形可能な基板層;及び
(ii)基板層の表面上の、第2のコポリエステル材料を少なくとも50重量%含むヒートシール層であって、前記第2のコポリエステル材料は第1のコポリエステル材料とは異なるヒートシール層;
ここで、
i.容器はポリエステル系合成樹脂製であり、その表面上にヒートシール層と接触してシールを形成するよう適合されたシーリング領域を含む;及び

前記複合材料ポリマーフィルムカバーは、温度190℃のオーブンに5分間サンプルを配置して、五つのフィルムサンプルに基づき、マシン方向及び横断方向の両方の平均収縮%を決定することによって測定される、マシン方向及び/又は横断方向における5%未満の収縮を有し、
前記第1のコポリエステル材料が、50%よりも低い結晶化度を有する。 - 熱成形基板層及びヒートシール層が共押出されたフィルム層である、請求項1に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 熱成形基板層及びヒートシール層が押出コーティングによって製造され、前記押出コーティングは、前記ヒートシール層を予め成形された前記熱成形基板層の表面上に押し出すことである、請求項1又は2に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 熱成形基板層及びヒートシール層は溶液コーティングによって形成され、前記溶液コーティングは、前記ヒートシール層を予め成形された前記熱成形基板層の表面上に塗布することである、請求項1又は2に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 熱成形基板層がワックスを含む、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 基板層表面上にコーティングされた少なくとも一つの追加層をさらに含む、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 前記少なくとも一つの追加層が印刷層である、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 熱成形複合材料ポリマーフィルムカバーの印刷特性又はバリア特性を改良する少なくとも一つの層をさらに含む、請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 少なくとも一つの保護層と少なくとも一つの光沢改良層をさらに含む、請求項1から8の何れか一項に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- シーリング領域が実質的に平坦なフランジを含む、請求項1から9の何れか一項に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 形成されるシールが約30°F(−1℃)の温度で安定であり、少なくとも2時間少なくとも約400°F(204℃)の温度に曝されるとき安定を保持する、請求項1から10の何れか一項に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- さらに、(iii)熱成形複合材料ポリマーフィルムカバーのガス及び/又は水蒸気に対するバリア特性を改良する少なくとも一つの層、を含む、請求項1に記載のオーブナブル真空スキン包装体。
- 食品製品を収容する容器と、食品表面に直接接触して該食品表面に合致し、容器にヒートシールされた蓋とを含み、前記蓋が以下を含む複合材料フィルムを真空下で熱成形することによって成形された、オーブナブル真空スキン包装密閉容器:
(i)テレフタル酸、アゼライン酸、エチレングリコール、及びジエチレングリコールの単位を有する第1のコポリエステル材料を少なくとも50重量%含む熱成形可能な基板層;及び
(ii)基板層の表面上の、第2のコポリエステル材料を少なくとも50重量%含むヒートシール層であって、前記第2のコポリエステル材料は第1のコポリエステル材料とは異なるヒートシール層;
ここで、
i.容器はポリエステル系合成樹脂製であり、その表面上に蓋のヒートシール層と接触してシールを形成するよう適合されたシーリング領域を含む;及び
ii.容器及び蓋の双方は21 CFR §177.1630 h(1)の要求、すなわち250°F(121℃)の蒸留水に2時間曝されるとき、食品接触面が生成するクロロホルム可溶な抽出物が0.02mg/in2(0.0031mg/cm2)を超えないこと、及び、150°F(65.6℃)のn−ヘプタンに2時間曝されるとき、食品接触面が生成するクロロホルム可溶な抽出物が溶媒に露出される食品接触表面に対して0.02mg/in2(0.0031mg/cm2)を超えないことを遵守し、
