Description
図1に示されるように、異種材接合構造10においては、樹脂製で板状の第一被接合部材12(上板)と、この第一被接合部材12と対向する部位を備えた金属製で板状の第二被接合部材14(下板)とが、金属製の鋲16によって接合されている。この異種材接合構造10は、樹脂製パネル部材と金属製パネル部材とを接合する種々の構造部に適用することができる。一例として、異種材接合構造10は、車両の構造部に適用でき、例えば、樹脂製のフロアパネルと金属製のロッカインナパネルとを接合する構造部や樹脂製のフロアパネルと金属製のダッシュパネル(車体客室前壁)とを接合する構造部等に適用することができる。
次に、上述した異種材接合構造10を備えた構造体である異種材接合体10Aの製造方法について説明すると共に、上記実施形態の作用及び効果について説明する。
なお、上記実施形態では、第一被接合部材12が炭素繊維強化樹脂製とされているが、第一被接合部材は、例えば、ガラス繊維強化樹脂製等のような他の繊維強化樹脂製とされてもよいし、強化繊維を含有しない樹脂製とされてもよい。また、上記実施形態では、第二被接合部材14がアルミニウム合金製とされているが、第二被接合部材14は、例えば、鋼製等のような他の金属製とされてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 樹脂製とされ、貫通した孔部が形成された板状の第一被接合部材と、
金属製とされ、前記孔部及びその外周部に対向配置された部位を備える板状の第二被接合部材と、
前記孔部の内側に配置されて前記第一被接合部材の板厚方向を軸線方向とする軸状部と、前記軸状部の軸線方向一端側に一体に形成されて前記孔部の外側に配置された頭部と、を備え、前記頭部の一部を構成する鍔部が前記第一被接合部材の表面と接触すると共に、前記軸状部の軸線方向他端側の端部が溶接部を介して前記第二被接合部材に接合され、前記鍔部が前記第二被接合部材との間に前記第一被接合部材を挟んだ金属製の鋲と、
を有し、
前記軸状部は、
前記頭部の中心部から延出した短柱状の軸部と、
前記軸部に連続して形成され、径寸法が前記軸部の径寸法よりも大きく設定された拡径部を有すると共に、前記溶接部を介して前記第二被接合部材に接合されたパンチ部と、
を備え、
前記孔部は、前記軸部の外周側に設定されて内径寸法が前記拡径部の径寸法と同等に設定された孔小径部と、前記パンチ部の外周側に設定されて内径寸法が前記拡径部の径寸法よりも大きく設定された孔大径部と、を備え、前記孔部の内周面と前記軸状部の外周面との間には全周に亘って当該軸状部の径方向に隙間が設定されている、異種材接合構造。 - 前記第一被接合部材は、
一般部と、
前記一般部から前記第二被接合部材の側に突出し、前記孔大径部が形成される部位を含んで構成され、前記孔大径部における前記第二被接合部材の側の開口端の外周側に全周に亘って座面部が形成されると共に、前記座面部が前記第二被接合部材に面接触する突出部と、
を備えた繊維強化樹脂製の部材とされ、
前記鍔部は、前記軸状部の軸線方向に見て前記座面部の全部と重なるように設定されている、請求項1に記載の異種材接合構造。 - 短柱状の軸部と、前記軸部の軸線方向一端側に一体に形成されて径寸法が前記軸部の径寸法よりも大きく設定された頭部と、前記軸部の軸線方向他端側に一体に形成されて径寸法が前記軸部の径寸法よりも大きくかつ前記頭部の径寸法よりも小さく設定された拡径部を有するパンチ部と、を備えた鋲を用いて、
樹脂製で板状とされて凹部が形成されると共に前記凹部の内径寸法が前記拡径部の径寸法よりも大きくかつ前記頭部の径寸法よりも小さく設定された第一被接合部材と、金属製で板状の第二被接合部材と、を接合する異種材接合体の製造方法であって、
前記第一被接合部材に対して前記凹部の形成面とは反対側の表面から前記凹部の内側中央部へ前記パンチ部を貫通させて前記頭部の一部を構成する鍔部を前記第一被接合部材の前記表面に接触させる第一工程と、
前記第一工程の後に、前記第二被接合部材を前記第一被接合部材に対して前記凹部の形成面の側に対向配置させて前記鋲の前記鍔部と前記第二被接合部材との間に前記第一被接合部材を挟みながら前記鋲の前記パンチ部の端部を前記第二被接合部材に溶接する第二工程と、
を有する異種材接合体の製造方法。
