Description
Claims (16)
- 治療部位において括約筋切開術を行うためのバイポーラ括約筋切開器であって、
実質的に透明な材料で形成された遠位部分を有する細長い管状部材と、
前記管状部材内に配置されたカッティングワイヤであって、前記管状部材の遠位部分において前記管状部材から半径方向外側に突出して切刃を形成する部分を有するカッティングワイヤと、
前記管状部材内に配置されかつその中で長手方向に延在するワイヤガイド内腔と、
帰還経路であって、
前記管状部材の遠位部分の外面を周方向で部分的に覆うように配置されて弧状の横断面形状を有する導電性材料部分であって、前記弧状の横断面形状が前記カッティングワイヤの前記切刃の半径方向向きに対して周方向でオフセットされて、前記弧状の横断面形状の周方向での一方の端部と前記カッティングワイヤとの間の周方向での間隔を他方の端部と前記カッティングワイヤとの間の周方向での間隔より大きくして、前記カッティングワイヤと前記一方の端部との間に前記ワイヤガイド内腔への視覚的アクセスを提供するようにされている、導電性材料部分と、
前記導電性材料部分に電気的に結合された帰還ワイヤであって、前記管状部材内に配置された帰還ワイヤと、
を備え、
前記導電性材料部分が導電性インク部分を含む、帰還経路と、
を具備するバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 前記管状部材の前記外面の周囲に配置された導電性カニューレであって、前記導電性インク部分を前記帰還ワイヤに電気的に結合する導電性カニューレ
をさらに具備する、請求項1に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 前記導電性インク部分の少なくとも一部が、前記導電性インク部分を前記帰還ワイヤに電気的に結合するように、前記導電性カニューレの少なくとも一部の上にさらに配置されている、請求項2に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
- 前記導電性カニューレの上に配置された収縮チューブ
をさらに具備する、請求項3に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 前記導電性インク部分を前記導電性カニューレに電気的に結合するように内面が導電性材料でコーティングされたチューブ
をさらに具備する、請求項2に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 前記外面から、前記帰還ワイヤの遠位端と連通している前記管状部材内の位置まで延在する前記管状部材の切削部
をさらに具備し、
前記導電性インク部分が、前記帰還ワイヤに電気的に結合されるように前記切削部内に延在している、請求項1に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 前記細長い管状部材内に配置されかつその中で長手方向に延在する、前記ワイヤガイド内腔以外の内腔
をさらに具備し、
前記内腔が2つ以上の機能を有し、前記機能のうちの1つが、前記帰還ワイヤを収容することである、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 前記内腔が注入内腔を含み、前記2つ以上の機能のうちの1つの機能が、治療部位に造影剤を送達することである、請求項7に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
- 前記帰還ワイヤが、前記管状部材の一体部分である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
- 前記細長い管状部材内に配置されかつ長手方向に延在する、前記ワイヤガイド内腔以外の内腔をさらに具備し、
前記内腔が単一の機能を有し、前記単一の機能が、前記帰還ワイヤを収容することである、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 前記導電性インク部分が、前記カッティングワイヤの遠位端が前記管状部材に固定して取り付けられる固定点を越えて遠位側に延在している、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
- 前記導電性インク部分の厚さが約500マイクロメートル以下であり、導電性インク部分が、約3マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルの範囲のサイズの導電性インク粒子を含み、前記導電性インク部分が約10,000センチポイズ以下の粘度を有し、前記導電性インク部分が、約20オーム以下の長手方向抵抗を有する、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
- 前記帰還経路を電源の帰還ポートに電気的に結合するケーブルをさらに具備し、
前記ケーブルが第1ワイヤおよび第2ワイヤを含み、前記第1ワイヤおよび前記第2ワイヤが、前記第1ワイヤおよび前記第2ワイヤの遠位端において互いに短絡し、
前記第1ワイヤおよび前記第2ワイヤが、前記遠位端において前記帰還ワイヤの近位端に接続されている、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。 - 抵抗素子が前記第1ワイヤまたは前記第2ワイヤのうちの一方に含まれ、前記抵抗素子の抵抗値により、前記電源に、分割型対極板を使用しているものとして前記バイポーラ括約筋切開器を認識させるようにされた、請求項13に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
- 抵抗素子が前記第1ワイヤまたは前記第2ワイヤのうちの一方に含まれ、前記抵抗素子の抵抗値により、前記電源に、非分割型対極板または分割型対極板を認識させるようにされた、請求項13に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
- 第1抵抗素子が前記第1ワイヤに含まれ、第2抵抗素子が前記第2ワイヤに含まれ、前記第1抵抗素子の抵抗値と前記第2抵抗素子の抵抗値との和により、前記電源に、前記バイポーラ括約筋切開器が非分割型対極板または分割型対極板を有することを認識させるようにされた、請求項13に記載のバイポーラ括約筋切開器。
