Description
Claims (7)
- 特発性側弯症を治療するためのシステムであって、
エネルギー源によって電力が供給され、±5mVの最大感知範囲で作動する、基本的にケース(1a)からなるプログラム可能な皮下または筋肉下デバイス(1)を備えてなり、
前記プログラム可能な皮下デバイスは、
前記病状に影響されていない深部傍脊柱筋部分でありかつ正しい筋緊張を有する側を感知し、筋電信号を記録するように構成された複数のセンサ(2)と、
前記病状に影響された深部傍脊柱筋部分を、前記感知に応じて刺激するように構成されてなる複数の刺激装置(3)と
に配線(5)で接続されてなり、
前記プログラム可能な皮下デバイス(1)は、ワイヤレスデータ伝送手段を備えてなり、当該手段は、ワイヤレスデータ伝送形式によって外部コンソール(4)によりプログラムされ得るものであり、かつ感知および刺激について前記デバイス(1)に記憶されたデータのコンパイルと、各患者のため前記病状に影響されたレベルおよび進行度に応じた最適な値のプログラミングとを可能にするものであり、そして
筋肉刺激が、前記筋電信号を記録するための前記センサ(2)から得られた結果に基づき、かつ設定時間範囲内に適切な刺激を引き起こすための筋骨格モデルに従って前記刺激を調整するフィードバックループアルゴリズムを備える制御ロジックによって制御されることを特徴とする、システム。 - 前記外部コンソール(4)が、前記皮下デバイス(1)とワイヤレス通信するためのRFIDタグと、刺激プロトコルを選択するように構成された制御ロジック手段とを備えてなる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部コンソール(4)が、臨床用途で使用されるユーザインターフェースを用いてアクセス可能なものである、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサ(2)が、50μVの増幅感度および約10ミリ秒の走査持続時間で、20Hz〜5kHzの応答を測定することができるよう構成されてなる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記刺激装置(3)が、単相刺激パルスに関して、1秒間の1〜50Hzの可変刺激、および0.2〜50mAの間の調節可能な強度で、深部傍脊柱回旋筋を刺激するために調節可能なパルス強度を提供するよう構成されてなる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサ(2)および前記刺激装置(3)の数が、特発性側弯症によって影響される脊柱のレベルに応じて変化することになる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサ(2)の前記筋電信号に応じて刺激を引き起こすための設定時間範囲が、前記筋電信号の取得から約5×10−1秒以内に含まれる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
