Description
Claims (9)
- 神経刺激システム(10)であって、
少なくとも1つの電極(26)を支持する少なくとも1つの刺激リード(12)と、
前記少なくとも1つの刺激リード(12)に結合され、刺激パラメータセットに従って電気刺激エネルギを前記少なくとも1つの電極(26)に出力するように構成された刺激出力回路(50)と、
前記神経刺激システムを磁気共鳴画像(MRI)作動モード又は通常作動モードに設定するように構成されたコントローラ/プロセッサ(64)と、
前記MRIモードへの前記神経刺激システムの設定に応答して、電気パラメータ測定値を前記少なくとも1つの電極の各々において繰返し取得するように構成されたモニタ回路(60)と、を含み、
前記コントローラ/プロセッサ(64)は、前記繰返し取得された電気パラメータ測定値のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて、電極−組織結合効率を決定し、決定された電極−組織結合効率と基準電極−組織結合効率を比較し、前記比較に基づいて、新しい刺激パラメータセットを発生させるように構成され、
前記刺激出力回路(50)は、前記新しい刺激パラメータセットに従って、電気刺激エネルギを前記少なくとも1つの電極(26)に出力するように構成される、神経刺激システム。 - 前記電気パラメータ測定値の各々は、インピーダンス測定値及び電界電位測定値のうちの一方を含む、請求項1に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。
- 前記コントローラ/プロセッサ(64)は、電気刺激エネルギを前記少なくとも1つの電極(26)の各々に伝えるように前記刺激出力回路(50)に指示するように構成され、
前記電気パラメータ測定値の各々は、前記伝えられた電気刺激エネルギに応答して、少なくとも1つの電気パラメータを測定することによって得られる、請求項1に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。 - 前記コントローラ/プロセッサ(64)は、前記得られた電気パラメータ測定値のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて、前記電極(26)のうちの少なくとも1つにおける欠陥を決定するように構成され、前記欠陥を決定することに応答して警報信号を発生させるように構成される、請求項1に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。
- 前記欠陥は、短絡回路及び開回路のうちの一方である、請求項4に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。
- 前記警報信号は、バイナリ信号である、請求項4に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。
- 前記警報信号は、視覚信号、聴覚信号、振動信号、及び変調神経刺激信号のうちの1つである、請求項4に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。
- 更に、ユーザから入力を受入れるように構成されたユーザインタフェース(104)を含み、
前記コントローラ/プロセッサ(64)は、前記ユーザ入力に応答して、前記神経刺激システム(10)を前記MRI作動モードに設定するように構成される、請求項1に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。 - 前記モニタ回路(60)は、MRIスキャナによって放出されたエネルギを感知するように構成され、
前記コントローラ/プロセッサ(64)は、感知されたエネルギに応答して、前記神経刺激システム(10)を前記MRI作動モードに設定するように構成される、請求項1に記載の神経刺激システム(10)。
