Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1におけるガス発生器の概略図である。図2は、図1に示すガス発生器の図1中に示す領域IIの要部拡大断面図である。また、図3は、図1に示すガス発生器の下部側シェルの形状を示す図であり、図3(A)は、下部側シェルの平面図、図3(B)は、下部側シェルの図3(A)中に示すIIIB−IIIB線に沿った断面図である。まず、これら図1ないし図3を参照して、本実施の形態におけるガス発生器1Aの構造について説明する。
図5は、本発明の実施の形態2におけるガス発生器の下部側シェルの形状を示す図であり、図5(A)は、下部側シェルの平面図、図5(B)は、下部側シェルの図5(A)中に示すVB−VB線に沿った断面図である。以下、この図5を参照して、本実施の形態におけるガス発生器1Bの構造について説明する。なお、本実施の形態におけるガス発生器1Bは、上述した実施の形態1におけるガス発生器1Aの下部側シェル10Aに代えて、図5に示す下部側シェル10Bを具備したものである。
図6は、本発明の実施の形態3におけるガス発生器の概略図である。以下、この図6を参照して、本実施の形態におけるガス発生器1Cの構造について説明する。なお、本実施の形態におけるガス発生器1Cは、上述した実施の形態1におけるガス発生器1Aの下部側シェル10Aに代えて、図6に示す下部側シェル10Cを具備したものである。
Claims (3)
- 軸方向の端部を閉塞する天板部および底板部と、ガス噴出口が設けられた周壁部とを含み、内部に収容空間を有する短尺筒状のハウジングと、
前記収容空間に配置され、燃焼することでガスを発生させるガス発生剤と、
前記収容空間に配置され、前記ガス発生剤が燃焼することで発生したガスを冷却するためのフィルタと、
前記底板部に組付けられ、前記ガス発生剤を燃焼させるための点火器とを備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記周壁部から外側に向けて立設され、当該ハウジングを外部の部材に対して固定するための固定部をさらに含み、
前記ガス噴出口は、前記固定部が設けられた位置よりも前記天板部側に位置する部分の前記周壁部に設けられ、
前記ハウジングは、前記底板部を少なくとも構成し、圧延された一枚の金属製の板状部材をプレス加工することによって成形されたプレス成形品からなる下部側シェルを有し、
前記収容空間を規定する部分の前記ハウジングは、相対的に厚みの厚い非脆弱部と、相対的に厚みの薄い脆弱部とを有し、
前記脆弱部は、前記下部側シェルの前記底板部にスポット状の穴部を設けることによって形成され、
前記穴部は、前記収容空間に面する部分の前記下部側シェルの内表面に設けられている、ガス発生器。 - 前記脆弱部は、前記ガス発生剤が収容されたガス発生剤収容室を規定する部分の前記下部側シェルに形成されている、請求項1に記載のガス発生器。
- 前記脆弱部は、相互に離間して複数形成されている、請求項1または2に記載のガス発生器。
