Claims (16)
- 眼における近視の進行に影響を及ぼす眼用レンズであって、
前記レンズは、
前記眼の中心窩の網膜によって受像すべき像を提供するための第1の屈折力プロファイルを有する中心光学ゾーンと、
前記眼の鼻側の周辺網膜の前方で受像すべき像を提供するための、前記第1の屈折力プロファイルと異なる第2の屈折力プロファイルを有する鼻側光学ゾーンと、
前記眼の側頭側の周辺網膜の前方で受像すべき像を提供するための、前記第1の屈折力プロファイルおよび前記第2の屈折力プロファイルと異なる第3の屈折力プロファイルを有する側頭側光学ゾーンと、
前記眼に前記レンズを方向付けるためのレンズ安定化機構と
を備え、
前記第1の屈折力プロファイルは鮮明な、または許容しうる、視覚をもたらすように選択され、
前記第2の屈折力プロファイルおよび前記第3の屈折力プロファイルは、近視の進行に影響を及ぼすように選択される、レンズ。 - 眼における遠視の進行に影響を及ぼす眼用レンズであって、
前記レンズは、
前記眼の中心窩の網膜によって受像すべき像を提供するための第1の屈折力プロファイルを有する中心光学ゾーンと、
前記眼の鼻側の周辺網膜の後方で受像すべき像を提供するための、前記第1の屈折力プロファイルと異なる第2の屈折力プロファイルを有する鼻側光学ゾーンと、
前記眼の側頭側の周辺網膜の後方で受像すべき像を提供するための、前記第1の屈折力プロファイルおよび前記第2の屈折力プロファイルと異なる第3の屈折力プロファイルを有する側頭側光学ゾーンと、
前記眼に前記レンズを方向付けるためのレンズ安定化機構と
を備え、
前記第1の屈折力プロファイルは鮮明な、または許容しうる、視覚をもたらすように選択され、
前記第2および第3の屈折力プロファイルは、遠視の進行に影響を及ぼすように選択される、レンズ。 - 前記レンズはコンタクトレンズまたは眼鏡レンズである、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記レンズは角膜インプラントまたはオルソケラトロジーレンズを含み、前記第1乃至第3の屈折力プロファイルは前記眼の角膜を整形するように実現される、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記中心光学ゾーンは前記眼の軸上視力を矯正するための屈折力を有する、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記鼻側光学ゾーンは軸上屈折力に比べ相対的に大きな屈折力を有し、前記側頭側光学ゾーンは前記軸上屈折力に比べ相対的に小さい屈折力を有する、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記側頭側光学ゾーンは軸上屈折力に比べ相対的に大きな屈折力を有し、前記鼻側光学ゾーンは前記軸上屈折力に比べ相対的に小さい屈折力を有する、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記中心光学ゾーンは、前記鼻側光学ゾーンと前記側頭側光学ゾーンとの間にあり、前記中心光学ゾーンは、前記レンズの水平半経線にわたってそれぞれ異なる範囲まで延在するように、前記レンズを通る垂直経線を中心として非対称であり、前記垂直経線および水平経線は、安定化機構によってもたらされる前記レンズの向きを基準とする、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記中心光学ゾーンは平らではなく、ピンぼけを矯正するための屈折力を備える、請求項8に記載のレンズ。
- 前記鼻側光学ゾーンおよび前記側頭側光学ゾーンはどちらもほぼ一定の屈折力を鉛直方向に備え、前記鉛直方向は、安定化機構によってもたらされる前記レンズの向きを基準とする、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記鼻側光学ゾーンおよび前記側頭側光学ゾーンは0.5mmと3mmの間の鉛直高さを有する、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記中心光学ゾーンは前記眼の軸上視力を矯正するための屈折力を有し、前記レンズは、前記中心光学ゾーンの屈折力にほぼ等しい屈折力を前記鼻側光学ゾーンおよび前記側頭側光学ゾーンの上下に有する、請求項11に記載のレンズ。
- 前記中心光学ゾーンは前記眼の軸上視力を矯正するための屈折力を有し、前記中心光学ゾーンはほぼ回転対称である、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記中心光学ゾーンは前記眼の軸上視力を矯正するために屈折力を有し、前記中心光学ゾーンは鉛直方向に前記レンズの全体にわたって細長く、前記鉛直方向は安定化機構によってもたらされる前記レンズの向きを基準とする、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記レンズは、光学ゾーンと担持部とを有するコンタクトレンズであり、前記中心光学ゾーンは前記鉛直方向に前記光学ゾーンのほぼ全体にわたって延在する、請求項14に記載のレンズ。
- 前記鼻側光学ゾーンおよび前記側頭側光学ゾーンの一方は、周辺像を前記網膜上に位置付けるために選択された屈折力を有し、他方のゾーンは、周辺像を前記網膜外に位置付けるように選択された屈折力を有する、請求項1または2に記載のレンズ。
