Description
鋳型2は黒鉛製で、図1に示すように、周囲を耐火材12で保持してあり、これにより鋳型2は断熱され、鋳型2内でのマグネシウム合金溶湯1の凝固を防いでいる。図中の符号13は、マグネシウム合金溶湯1の凝固界面を示している。

Claims (3)
- マグネシウム合金溶湯を筒状の断熱鋳型に供給し、鋳型から出るビレットの表面に冷却液を噴射し、ビレットの周囲と冷却液との間に空間を形成し、その空間にフッ素を含む防燃ガスを供給し、ビレットを順次引き出すことを特徴とするマグネシウム合金の連続鋳造方法。
- マグネシウム合金溶湯が供給される筒状の断熱鋳型と、鋳型から出るビレットの表面に防燃ガスを供給する防燃ガス供給手段と、鋳型から出るビレットの表面に冷却液を噴射する冷却液供給手段とを備え、防燃ガス供給手段は、ビレットの周囲と冷却液供給手段から噴射される冷却液との間に形成される空間にフッ素を含む防燃ガスを供給することを特徴とするマグネシウム合金の連続鋳造装置。
- 請求項1記載の連続鋳造方法により製造したマグネシウム合金ビレット。
