Description
(実施形態1)
図1に示すように、実施形態1のボイラプラントには、石炭を富酸素の燃焼用ガスにより燃焼させる酸素燃焼式のボイラ1が設けられている。ボイラ1で石炭を燃焼させて発生した水蒸気は、図示していない蒸気タービンに供給されて蒸気タービンを駆動するようになっている。
図4を用いて、実施形態2のボイラプラントを説明する。実施形態2が実施形態1と相違する点は、湿式脱硫装置15とは別の湿式脱硫装置51を水銀酸化装置39の後段に配置している点である。その他の構成は、実施形態1と同一であるから、同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。

Claims (5)
- 石炭を富酸素の燃焼用ガスにより燃焼させる酸素燃焼式のボイラと、該ボイラから排出される排ガス中の煤塵を捕集する集塵装置と、該集塵装置から排出される排ガス中の硫黄酸化物を除去する湿式脱硫装置と、該湿式脱硫装置から排出される排ガスにハロゲン又はハロゲン化合物を添加する添加装置と、該添加装置から排出される排ガス中の水銀を前記ハロゲン又は前記ハロゲン化合物と反応させて酸化する触媒層を備える水銀酸化装置と、該水銀酸化装置から排出される排ガス中の水分を凝縮させ、少なくとも凝縮水に酸化水銀を吸収させて排ガスから除去する水銀除去装置と、該水銀除去装置から排出される排ガス中の二酸化炭素を回収する二酸化炭素回収装置を備えてなるボイラプラント。
- 請求項1に記載のボイラプラントにおいて、
前記水銀除去装置は、排ガスを圧縮する圧縮装置と、該圧縮装置で圧縮された排ガスを冷却して排ガス中の水分を凝縮させる冷却装置を備え、該冷却装置で凝縮させた凝縮水に酸化水銀を吸収させて排ガスから除去することを特徴とするボイラプラント。 - 請求項1に記載のボイラプラントにおいて、
前記水銀除去装置は、前記湿式脱硫装置と別に備えられる他の湿式脱硫装置であり、該他の湿式脱硫装置は、脱硫用吸収液と排ガスを接触させ、排ガス中の水分の凝縮水と脱硫用吸収液の混合液に酸化水銀を吸収させて排ガスから除去することを特徴とするボイラプラント。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のボイラプラントにおいて、
前記水銀酸化装置の上流側に前記排ガスを加熱する加熱装置が備えられ、該加熱装置で加熱された排ガスを前記水銀酸化装置に導入することを特徴とするボイラプラント。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のボイラプラントにおいて、
前記水銀酸化装置から排出される排ガス中の水銀濃度又はハロゲン濃度を検出する検出装置と、該検出装置の検出値に基づいて前記ハロゲン又は前記ハロゲン化合物の添加量を調整する調整装置を備えてなることを特徴とするボイラプラント。
