Claims (1)
- 電解質膜の両側に一対の電極が設けられ、外周部に樹脂製枠部材が設けられる電解質膜・電極構造体と、セパレータとが積層されるとともに、一方の電極に対向する前記セパレータの一方の面には、電極面に沿って一方の反応ガスを流通させる一方の反応ガス流路が設けられ、前記セパレータの他方の面には、他のセパレータが隣接し且つ該他のセパレータとの間に電極面方向に沿って冷却媒体を流通させる冷却媒体流路が設けられ、他方の電極に対向する前記セパレータの一方の面には、電極面に沿って他方の反応ガスを流通させる他方の反応ガス流路が設けられる燃料電池であって、
積層方向に沿って前記一方の反応ガスを流通させる第1反応ガス連通孔、前記積層方向に沿って前記他方の反応ガスを流通させる第2反応ガス連通孔及び前記積層方向に沿って前記冷却媒体を流通させる冷却媒体連通孔が設けられ、且つ、前記冷却媒体流路と前記冷却媒体連通孔とは、冷却媒体連結部により連結され、
前記セパレータの前記一方の面に対向する前記樹脂製枠部材には、前記一方の反応ガス流路の外周部を形成する樹脂壁部が設けられるとともに、
前記樹脂壁部は、前記冷却媒体連結部と前記積層方向に重なる位置に薄肉壁部を設け、前記薄肉壁部は、前記一方の反応ガス流路側に膨出する厚さ方向の寸法が、他の部位の厚さ方向の寸法よりも小さく設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
