Claims (3)
- 内周面に8本のトラック溝が形成された外側継手部材と、外周面に8本のトラック溝が形成された内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と内側継手部材のトラック溝との間に介在してトルクを伝達する8個のボールと、このボールを収容するポケットを有するとともに外側継手部材と内側継手部材との間に介装されるケージとを備える、自動車用の固定式等速自在継手であって、
外側継手部材のトラック溝におけるボール接触点軌跡を、トラック溝底の近傍に配置した構成とし、外側継手部材のトラック溝に、トラック溝奥側からトラック溝開口端部までの硬化層を形成するとともに、この硬化層のうち、トラック溝開口端部以外の使用頻度が多い範囲の硬化層の厚さを4mm以下とし、これよりも使用頻度が少ないトラック溝開口端部のトラック溝底での硬化層の厚さを2.0mm以下として、使用頻度が多い範囲の硬化層の厚さよりも薄くし、使用頻度が多い範囲よりも硬化層の厚さが薄い軸方向範囲を5mm以下にし、これよりも奥側の使用頻度が多い範囲の硬化層の厚さを一定にしたことを特徴とする固定式等速自在継手。 - 内側継手部材のトラック溝及び外側継手部材のトラック溝がそれぞれ円弧部のみで構成されたツェッパ型であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 内側継手部材のトラック溝及び外側継手部材のトラック溝がそれぞれ円弧部と直線部とで構成されたアンダーカットフリー型であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
