Description
電子ペーパー粒子組成物を溶媒を用いて分散させて噴射用組成物を生成する。このとき、前記電子ペーパー粒子組成物は、高分子樹脂、電荷調節剤及び顔料を含む。前記高分子樹脂としてはスチレン−アクリル共重合体を用い、電荷調節剤としては正電荷を帯びる可塑剤の一種であるp−50を0.5%含量にて添加し、そして、顔料としては、黒色顔料であるカーボンブラックを用いる。
電子ペーパー粒子組成物を溶媒を用いて分散させて噴射用組成物を生成する。このとき、前記電子ペーパー粒子組成物は、高分子樹脂、電荷調節剤及び顔料を含む。前記高分子樹脂としてはポリエステル樹脂を用い、電荷調節剤としては、負電荷を帯びる可塑剤の一種である日本オリエントケミカル社製のE−88(モルフレックス130)を0.5%の含量にて添加し、顔料としては、白色顔料である二酸化チタン(TiO2)を用いる。
電子ペーパー粒子組成物を溶媒を用いて分散させて噴射用組成物を生成する。このとき、前記電子ペーパー粒子組成物は、高分子樹脂、電荷調節剤及び顔料を含む。前記高分子樹脂としてはスチレン−ブタジエン共重合体を用い、電荷調節剤としては、負電荷を帯びる可塑剤の一種であるE−80(ケスコフレックスDBT)を0.5%の含量にて添加し、顔料としては、白色顔料である二酸化チタン(TiO2)を用いる。
Claims (10)
- 高分子樹脂、電荷調節剤及び顔料を含む電子ペーパー粒子組成物を溶媒を用いて分散させて噴射用組成物を生成するステップと、
前記噴射用組成物を予め設定された圧力で噴射して液滴を生成するステップと、
前記液滴を乾燥するステップと、
前記乾燥された液滴から電子ペーパー粒子を得るステップと、
を含む電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。 - 前記高分子樹脂は、スチレン−アクリル共重合体とポリエステル樹脂のうちのいずれか1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 電荷調節剤は、正電荷調節剤および負電荷調節剤のうちのいずれか1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 前記顔料は、白色顔料および黒色顔料のうちのいずれか1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 前記白色顔料は二酸化チタンを含み、前記黒色顔料はカーボンブラックを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 前記溶媒は有機溶媒であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 前記有機溶媒は、メチルアセタート、エチルアセタート、イソプロピルアセタート、メチルエチルケトン、ジメチルエーテル、ジエチルエーテル、1、1−ジクロロエタン、1、2−ジクロロエタン、ジクロロメタン、クロロホルムヘキサン、ヘプタン、シクロヘキサン、トルエン及びキシレンよりなる群から選ばれるいずれか1種または少なくとも2種の混合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 前記予め設定された圧力は、2MPa乃至10MPaであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 前記噴射用組成物の粘度は、常温下で10cPs乃至1000cPsであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法。
- 請求項1から請求項9のいずれかに記載の電子ペーパー粒子の製造方法を用いて生成された電子ペーパー粒子。
