Claims (5)
- 切削加工が可能な素材からなると共に切削加工がなされる平らな面を有するワークと、
上記ワークよりも小さいと共に上記ワークに形成する凹所の幅に等しい幅であって先端側に刃部が形成された切削工具と、
上記切削工具が上記ワークに対して所定角度を有した状態で保持され、上記切削工具により上記ワークを所定角度で掘り下げる掘り下げ方向と上記切削工具を水平方向に相対移動させる移動装置とを備え、
上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向に移動させて上記刃部により上記ワークを掘り下げて肉薄の切削フィンを起立形成するフィン形成工程と、その後上記切削工具を水平方向に移動させて上記切削フィンの基端を切削することによりスクラップを離脱する切削工程とによって、上記ワークに所定の深さの凹所を形成し、
上記切削フィンの起立形成によって形成された被加工面よりも形成ピッチ分の上流側から上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向と水平方向に相対移動させるフィン形成工程と切削工程により次の凹所を形成し、以後フィン形成工程と切削工程を順次繰り返して上記ワークに所定の深さと面積を有する凹所を形成するワークへの凹所形成方法であって、
前記フィン形成工程において、上記切削工具により上記ワークを掘り下げて上記切削フィンを起立形成するとき、上記切削フィンの基端側の板厚が厚く先端に至るに従って漸次薄く形成すると共に上記切削フィンの少なくとも基端側の両側を膨出させ、上記切削工程において切削したスクラップを上記凹所の内壁に挟持させることにより保持することを特徴とするワークへの凹所形成方法。 - 切削加工が可能な素材からなるワークと、
先端側に刃部が形成された切削工具と、
上記切削工具が上記ワークに対して所定角度を有した状態で保持され、上記切削工具により上記ワークを所定角度で掘り下げる掘り下げ方向と上記切削工具を水平方向に相対移動させる移動装置とを備え、
上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向に移動させて上記刃部により上記ワークを掘り下げて肉薄の切削フィンを起立形成するフィン形成工程と、その後上記切削工具を水平方向に移動させて上記切削フィンの基端を切削することによりスクラップを離脱する切削工程とによって、上記ワークに所定の深さの凹所を形成し、
上記切削フィンの起立形成によって形成された被加工面よりも形成ピッチ分の上流側から上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向と水平方向に相対移動させるフィン形成工程と切削工程により次の凹所を形成し、以後フィン形成工程と切削工程を順次繰り返して上記ワークに所定の深さと面積を有する凹所を形成するワークへの凹所形成方法であって、
上記ワークに凹所を形成する予定個所の少なくとも一端に、予め所定の深さと幅を有する溝を形成した後、上記切削工具の刃部が上記溝の底面又は底面近傍に達するまで複数回掘り下げ方向に移動させて切削することにより、凹所の底面から上記ワークの表面に至る傾斜した被加工面を形成し、この被加工面よりも形成ピッチ分の上流側から上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向と水平方向に相対移動させるフィン形成工程と切削工程により凹所を形成し、以後フィン形成工程と切削工程を順次繰り返して上記ワークに所定の深さと面積を有する凹所を形成することを特徴とするワークへの凹所形成方法。 - 切削加工が可能な素材からなるワークと、
先端側に刃部が形成された切削工具と、
上記切削工具が上記ワークに対して所定角度を有した状態で保持され、上記切削工具により上記ワークを所定角度で掘り下げる掘り下げ方向と上記切削工具を水平方向に相対移動させる移動装置とを備え、
上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向に移動させて上記刃部により上記ワークを掘り下げて肉薄の切削フィンを起立形成するフィン形成工程と、その後上記切削工具を水平方向に移動させて上記切削フィンの基端を切削することによりスクラップを離脱する切削工程とによって、上記ワークに所定の深さの凹所を形成し、
上記切削フィンの起立形成によって形成された被加工面よりも形成ピッチ分の上流側から上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向と水平方向に相対移動させるフィン形成工程と切削工程により次の凹所を形成し、以後フィン形成工程と切削工程を順次繰り返して上記ワークに所定の深さと面積を有する凹所を形成するワークへの凹所形成方法であって、
上記ワークに凹所を形成する予定個所の一端に、上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向に移動させて基端を上記ワークに連結させた状態でフィンを形成する工程を上記刃部が所定の深さに達するまで1回乃至複数回行うことにより、所定の深さから上記ワークの表面に至る傾斜した被加工面を形成することを特徴とするワークへの凹所形成方法。 - 上記ワークに凹所を形成する予定個所の一端に、上記切削工具を掘り下げ方向に移動させて基端を上記ワークに連結させた状態でフィンを形成する工程を上記刃部が所定の深さに達するまで1回乃至複数回行い、その後上記切削工具を逆向きにするとともに掘り下げ方向に移動させて複数枚の上記フィンを切削により離脱させることにより被加工面を形成する請求項3に記載のワークへの凹所形成方法。
- 上記ワークの所定個所に形成する所定の幅の凹所に対し、この凹所の幅よりも小さい幅の上記切削工具により幅狭な凹所を形成し、この幅狭な凹所を複数列形成して幅広な所定の幅の凹所を形成する請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のワークへの凹所形成方法。
