Description
Claims (30)
- 近位部材端と、
近位部材端から長さ方向に間隔を置いて配置された遠位部材端と、
近位部材端と遠位部材端の間をわたる筒状部材ボディであって、血管内の阻害物の少なくとも一部と放射状に選択的に接触するように構成され、阻害物上に外向きの半径方向の力を及ぼすことにより、少なくとも一つの断片を阻害物から取り除いて、阻害物を通り越して血管を流れる血流を強化するように構成された筒状部材ボディとを含み、
近位部材端および遠位部材端の少なくとも一つは閉じられており、
前記部材ボディは、複数の第1の線維と複数の第1の隙間とを有する第1のメッシュからなり、第1の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは、少なくとも一つの断片がその隙間を通して前記部材ボディ内に半径方向に通過するように構成されており、
近位部材端および遠位部材端の閉じられた方は、複数の第2の隙間を有する第2のメッシュからなり、第2の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは、少なくとも一つの断片がその隙間を通して選択的に通過するように構成され、
長さ方向の軸について少なくとも小さい角度回転できるように構成されることによって、前記複数の第1の線維が円周方向に前記阻害物を切断するように構成されていることを特徴とする伸張可能部材。 - 少なくとも一つの放射線不透過性の部分を含む請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 少なくとも部分的に自己伸張材料から作られている請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 血管が脳血管である請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 医薬品を溶出させるように少なくとも部分的に構成された請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 前記医薬品が少なくとも一つの断片を少なくとも部分的に溶解させるように構成された請求項5の伸張可能部材。
- 第1のメッシュが第2のメッシュと一体的に形成された請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 第1の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは複数の第1の線維によって定められ、
複数の第1の線維の少なくとも一つは、阻害物に対して圧迫されて接触させられ、阻害物に入りこむことにより、阻害物の残りの部分から少なくとも一つの断片を長さ方向に切り離すように構成された請求項1の伸張可能部材。 - 第2の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは複数の第2の線維によって定められ、複数の第2の線維の少なくとも一つは、少なくとも一つの断片を複数の細断片に分けるように構成されており、少なくとも一つの第2の隙間は、少なくとも一つの細断片がその隙間を選択的に通過して、その少なくとも一つの細断片が当該伸張可能部材から放出されるように構成された請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 複数の第2の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは、複数の第1の隙間の少なくとも一つよりも小さい請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 複数の第2の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つのサイズは、血管の許容粒状のサイズに依存して選択される請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 前記筒状部材ボディは阻害物の少なくとも一部を血管の血管壁に向けて加圧するように構成された請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 前記部材ボディがボディ内部を定め、当該伸張可能部材は、ボディ内部を通って遠位部材端と近位部材端の間を長さ方向にわたるガイドワイヤを含み、前記ガイドワイヤは、遠位部材端と近位部材端の閉じた方に付けられている請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- 前記ガイドワイヤは遠位部材端と近位部材端のうちの少なくとも一つを越えて伸び、当該伸張可能部材をデリバリーシステムに取り外し可能に取り付けるように構成された請求項13の伸張可能部材。
- 第一のメッシュおよび第二のメッシュを形成する複数の線維を含み、各線維は前記部材ボディに関してらせん方向、長さ方向および半径方向のうちの少なくとも一つの方向に定められている請求項1の伸張可能部材。
- ふさがれた血管を通る血流を増加させるための装置であって、当該装置は、
中空のカテーテル・ルーメンによって離された近位カテーテル端と遠位カテーテル端をもち、長さ方向の軸を定めるデリバリー・カテーテルであって、遠位カテーテル端は血管内で阻害物に隣接して配置するのに適しているデリバリー・カテーテルと、
ガイドワイヤボディによって長さ方向に離された近位ガイドワイヤ端と遠位ガイドワイヤ端をもち、カテーテル・ルーメンを通して選択的に挿入するよう構成されているガイドワイヤと、
遠位ガイドワイヤ端に隣接したガイドワイヤに取り外し可能に付けられた伸張可能部材であって、第1の畳まれた状態と第2の伸張された状態の間を選択的に動くことができ、畳まれた状態ではカテーテル・ルーメンを通過し、選択的にカテーテル・ルーメンから解放され、阻害物に隣接して伸張状態に配置されるように構成された伸張可能部材とを含み、
当該伸張可能部材は、
近位部材端と、
近位部材端から長さ方向に間隔を置いて配置された遠位部材端と、
近位部材端と遠位部材端の間をわたる筒状部材ボディであって、血管内の阻害物の少なくとも一部と放射状に選択的に接触するように構成され、阻害物上に外向きの半径方向の力を及ぼすことにより、当該伸張可能部材が伸張された状態にあるとき、少なくとも一つの断片を阻害物から取り除いて、阻害物を通り越して血管を流れる血流を強化するように構成された筒状部材ボディとを含み、
近位部材端および遠位部材端の少なくとも一つは閉じられており、
筒状部材ボディは、複数の第1の線維と複数の第1の隙間とを有する第1のメッシュからなり、第1の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは、少なくとも一つの断片がその隙間を通して前記部材ボディ内に半径方向に通過するように構成されており、
近位部材端および遠位部材端の閉じられた方は、複数の第2の隙間を有する第2のメッシュからなり、第2の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは、少なくとも一つの断片がその隙間を通して選択的に通過するように構成され、
前記伸張可能部材は、長さ方向の軸について少なくとも小さい角度回転できるように構成されることによって、前記複数の第1の線維が円周方向に前記阻害物を切断するように構成されていることを特徴とする装置。 - デリバリー・カテーテル、ガイドワイヤおよび伸張可能部材のうちの少なくとも一つが少なくとも一つの放射線不透過性の部分を含む請求項16の装置。
- 伸張可能部材がデリバリー・カテーテルによって畳まれた状態に拘束され、デリバリー・カテーテルが除去されると、伸張された状態に自己伸張する請求項16の装置。
- カテーテル・ルーメンを通して選択的に挿入するように構成され、阻害物の少なくとも一部に隣接した伸張可能部材を選択的に手動で伸張させるように機能するインフレーション・カテーテルを含む請求項16の装置。
- 血管が脳血管である請求項16の装置。
- デリバリー・カテーテルが阻害物に隣接した場所で血管に医薬品を提供するよう機能する請求項16の装置。
- 前記医薬品は溶解剤であり、阻害物と少なくとも一つの断片の内、少なくとも一方に作用する請求項21の装置。
- 第1の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは複数の第1の線維によって定められ、
複数の第1の線維の少なくとも一つは、伸張可能部材が伸張するにつれて、阻害物に対して圧迫されて接触させられ、阻害物に入りこむことにより、阻害物の残りの部分から断片を長さ方向に切り離すように構成された請求項16の装置。 - 第2の隙間のうちの少なくとも一つは複数の第2の線維によって定められ、複数の第2の線維の少なくとも一つは、少なくとも一つの断片を複数の細断片に分けるように構成されており、少なくとも一つの第2の隙間は、少なくとも一つの細断片がその隙間を選択的に通過して、その少なくとも一つの細断片が当該伸張可能部材から放出されるように構成された請求項16の装置。
- カテーテル・ルーメンを通して選択的に挿入されるよう構成され、そして、吸入力の下で伸張可能部材から少なくとも一つの断片を選択的に取り除く機能を有する吸引カテーテルを含む請求項16の装置。
- 伸張可能部材は阻害物の少なくとも一部を血管の血管壁に向けて加圧するように構成された請求項16の装置。
- 伸張可能部材が伸張された状態から畳まれた状態へ畳まれ、デリバリー・カテーテルによって血管から除去される請求項16の装置。
- 少なくとも一つの断片が伸張可能部材内の血管から運ばれる請求項27の装置。
- 伸張可能部材が伸張された状態から畳まれた状態へ畳まれ、血管内で動かされ、畳まれた状態から伸張された状態へ再び伸張される請求項16の装置。
