Description
Claims (12)
- 下顎(1)の第1関節(2)の顆(5)の第1の生来の外面(9)と、少なくとも部分的に、連携するように設計された凹状面(16)、および該第1関節(2)の窩(8)の第1の生来の内面(7)と、少なくとも部分的に、連携するように設計された凸状面(17)を有するタイプで、かつ剛性材料から構成されている人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法(M,21、C,26)において、
該第1関節(2)の該第1の生来の内面(7)および該第1の生来の外面(9)それぞれについての少なくとも1つの第1の画像を生成するステップ;
該少なくとも1つのそれぞれの第1の画像に基づいて、該第1の生来の内面(7)と該第1の生来の外面(9)間のギャップに対応する仮想の関節間スペースを部分的に埋めるため、コンピュータ支援設計システム(M,C)を使って、シミュレーションによって、該人工の下顎挿入物(10)のベクトル表示である、データファイル(S)を生成するステップ;および
該データファイル(S)に基づいて、デジタル制御される機械を使って、該人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造するステップを、有する方法。 - 該凹状面(16)は、該第1の外面(9)の隣接部分の形状を正確に補完する形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該凹状面(16)は、オステオインテグレーションを促進するための、化学エッチング処理を受けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該凹状面(16)は、多孔性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該剛性材料は、セラミックであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該剛性材料は、ステンレス鋼あるいはアルミニウム/ジルコニウム合金からなる金属合金であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該人工の下顎挿入物(10)は、また、該下顎(1)の第2関節(3)の、顆の頸部(12)の第2の生来の外面(11)のおよび下顎窩(14)の第2の生来の内面(13)のそれぞれについての少なくとも1つの第2の画像に基づいて、作成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 少なくとも該第1の画像および少なくとも該第2の画像は、X線断層撮影装置を含む医療用画像装置により生成される3次元表示(D)であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該人工の下顎挿入物(10)は、該人工の下顎挿入物(10)の形状を表している該第1および第2の両方の画像を含むデータファイル(S)に基づいて作成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該データファイル(S)は、該第1関節(2)および第2関節(3)の左右の対称性を復元するため、コンピュータ支援設計システム(M,C)を使って、少なくとも該第1および少なくとも該第2の画像を比較することによって、生成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 少なくとも該第1の画像は、損傷した第1関節(2)の画像であり、また少なくとも該第2の画像は、健全な第2関節(3)の画像であり、かつ、該データファイル(S)は、該第1の外面(9)と該下顎(1)の全体の対称面(P)に対する該第2の生来の外面(11)の仮想面(15)間のギャップおよび該仮想面(15)と該第1の生来の内面(7)間のギャップに対応する、仮想の関節間スペースを部分的に埋めるため、コンピュータ支援設計システム(M,C)を使って、シミュレーションによって、生成される、該人工の下顎挿入物(10)のベクトル表示であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
- 該人工の下顎挿入物(10)は、該データファイル(S)に基づいて、デジタル制御のフライス盤を使って該剛性材料をフライス加工(26)することにより成形されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の人工の下顎挿入物(10)を製造する方法。
