Claims (8)
- 分注チップを自動的に装着して液体を分注する液体分注装置にセットされ、分注チップを着脱可能に収容するためのチップラックであって、
分注チップが挿入される複数のチップ挿入孔を有するとともに、前記チップ挿入孔に挿入された分注チップを着脱可能に支持するチップ支持部と、前記チップ支持部の下方側に配置されるとともに、前記チップ支持部のチップ挿入孔に挿入された分注チップの先端部を収容するチップ収容部とを含むラック本体と、
前記ラック本体に上方から着脱可能に装着されるとともに、前記チップ挿入孔に挿入された分注チップの根元部を覆う蓋部材とを備え、
前記チップ支持部は、上方から見て実質的に四角形状で4つの側面を有しており、対向する一対の各側面から外側に突出するように設けられた第1および第2把持部と、対向する一対の各側面から外側に突出するように設けられた第1および第2固定部とを備え、
前記第1および第2固定部は、前記第1および第2把持部よりも下方に設けられており、
前記蓋部材は、平面的に見て実質的に四角形状の上面部と前記上面部の外周近傍から下方に向かって延びるように形成された4つの側面部とを備え、各側面部は、前記ラック本体に上方から前記蓋部材が装着された際に前記第1および第2把持部が対応する各側面部から突出するように係合する切欠部を有し、
前記液体分注装置が所定位置に第1および第2係合部材を備えており、前記液体分注装置にセットされる際に、前記第1固定部が第1係合部材と係合し、前記第2固定部が前記第2係合部材と係合することにより、前記液体分注装置に固定的にセットされる、チップラック。 - 前記チップ支持部は、前記第1および第2把持部が設けられた一対の各側面とは異なる一対の各側面から外側に突出するように設けられた第3および第4把持部と、前記第1および第2固定部が設けられた一対の各側面とは異なる一対の各側面から外側に突出するように設けられた第3および第4固定部とを備えており、
前記第1および第2固定部の前記第1および第2係合部材との係合、または、前記第3および第4固定部の前記第1および第2係合部材との係合により、前記液体分注装置にセットされる、請求項1に記載のチップラック。 - 前記第1および第2把持部は、それぞれ前記チップ支持部の側面の横方向における中心に位置するように設けられる、請求項1または2に記載のチップラック。
- 前記チップ支持部の複数のチップ挿入孔は、前記チップ支持部に、縦方向の配列と横方向の配列とが実質的に等しくなるようにマトリクス状に配置されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のチップラック。
- 前記ラック本体のチップ収容部は、前記チップ支持部のチップ挿入孔に挿入された分注チップの先端部が前記チップ収容部の内面に接触しない状態で前記分注チップを収容するように、前記チップ支持部の下方に配置されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のチップラック。
- 前記ラック本体のチップ支持部およびチップ収容部は、別体で形成されており、
前記チップ支持部は、前記チップ収容部に係合する第1係合部を有し、
前記チップ収容部は、前記チップ支持部の第1係合部に係合する第2係合部を有し、
前記チップ収容部の第2係合部が前記チップ支持部の第1係合部に係合されることによって、前記チップ収容部が前記チップ支持部の下方に取り付けられる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のチップラック。 - 前記ラック本体のチップ収容部および前記蓋部材の少なくとも一方は、外部から内部を視認可能な材料により形成されている、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のチップラック。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のチップラックと、
前記チップラックのチップ挿入孔に挿入された前記分注チップとを備えた、チップ組立品。
