Claims (9)
- ポンプ室を有するハウジングと、該ハウジング内に形成された、燃料入口通路を前記ポンプ室に流体的に接続するポートと、前記ハウジング内に軸線方向に滑動可能に取り付けられ、バルブヘッドを有する細長い弁であって、前記バルブヘッドが前記ポートから離間しそれによって前記ポートを介して燃料が流れることができる開放位置と、前記バルブヘッドが前記ポートの周りで前記ハウジングに接触し前記ポートを介する燃料のフローを防ぐ閉止位置との間で移動可能な弁と、該弁の周りに配置され弁をその閉止位置に向かって付勢する圧縮ばねと、前記弁の移動を制御するソレノイドと、該ソレノイドに電気的に接続され、出力信号を発生させて、前記弁が前記開放位置から前記閉止位置へと移動するにつれて前記弁を減速させる電気制御回路とを備え、前記電気制御回路が、前記ソレノイドに対してパルス幅変調出力信号を発生させ、前記弁が前記開放位置から前記閉止位置へと移動するにつれて、前記パルス幅変調出力信号のパルスの幅を変動させて、前記バルブヘッドと前記ハウジングとが接触する前に前記弁を減速させる前記電気制御回路を有することを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記ハウジングが前記弁の少なくとも一部分を取り囲む磁気粘性流体室を有し、さらに、前記磁気粘性流体室の周りで前記ハウジングに収容される磁気粘性流体コイルと、該磁気粘性流体コイルに電気的に接続され出力信号を発生させて、前記弁が前記開放位置から前記閉止位置へと移動するにつれて前記弁を減速させる磁気粘性流体電気制御回路とを備えることを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項2に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記弁が前記開放位置から前記閉止位置へと移動するにつれて、前記磁気粘性流体電気制御回路が前記磁気粘性流体コイルに対して増加する電圧信号を発生させることを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項2に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記弁を前記閉止位置に向かって付勢するばねを備え、前記弁が前記開放位置にあるとき、前記磁気粘性流体電気制御回路が前記磁気粘性流体コイルに対して信号を発生させて、前記ばねの力に対抗して前記弁を前記開放位置で保持することを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項4に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記弁が前記開放位置から前記閉止位置へと移動するにつれて、前記磁気粘性流体電気制御回路が前記磁気粘性流体コイルに対して増加する電気信号を発生させることを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記弁の端部と前記ハウジングとの間に配置された制振材料を含むことを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記ポンプ室内に取り付けられたダイヤフラムを備えることを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記ダイヤフラムが流体透過性ダイヤフラムであることを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
- 請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプにおいて、前記ポンプ室に流体的に接続された一端を有する出口通路を備え、前記出口通路が乱流誘導層を有することを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。
