創傷の治療は、材料と専門的な治療時間の両方で高価になりうるので、創傷及び創傷治癒過程の正確な評価に基づく治療が必要不可欠とされる。創傷の治癒の進行を判定する際に医師を補助しうるわずかな創傷パラメータが存する。例えば、創傷面積及び体積の測定は、医師に、創傷が治癒しているかどうか、創傷が治癒中であるならば、どのくらい早く創傷が治癒するかという情報を提供しうる。不適当又は不十分な評価は幅広い様々な問題をもたらすので、創傷の評価は、創傷を正確に治療するための重要な手段である。未処置の組織部位の感染症は、恒久的な損傷又は患者の死さえももたらす。
Claims (20)
- 組織の治癒を分析するシステムにおいて、当該システムが:
画像取込装置と;
予め定められた色の基準色マーカと;
前記画像取込装置と接続している処理ユニットであって:
組織部位及び前記基準色マーカの画像を含む画像データを前記画像取込装置から受け取るステップと;
前記基準色マーカの画像を前記予め定められた色に調節することで画像の色調節を決定するステップと、
前記画像の色調節を組織部位の画像に適用して、組織部位の画像を正規化して、正規化された画像を生成するステップと;
組織部位における特定の第1タイプの組織を識別するために、前記正規化された画像における組織部位の色を、第1組織タイプを規定する色の第1範囲と比較するステップと;
組織部位における第2タイプの組織を識別するために、前記正規化された画像における組織部位の色を、第2組織タイプを規定する色の第2範囲と比較するステップであって、第1および第2組織タイプが異なる治癒段階の組織であるステップと;
第1および第2組織タイプを識別するステップと;
前記正規化された画像を医師に提示するステップと;
を行うよう構成された処理ユニットとを具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理システムがさらに、組織のある治癒段階内にある前記組織部位の第1組織タイプの少なくとも1の領域を目立たせることにより、前記医師が前記少なくとも1の領域を識別するのを可能にするように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記組織部位の目立たせた少なくとも1の領域が、壊死組織、肉芽組織、又は腐肉組織を規定することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理ユニットがさらに、前記組織部位の少なくとも1の領域の面積を計算するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項4に記載のシステムがさらに、電子表示装置を具えており、前記処理ユニットがさらに、前記組織部位を表示し、前記電子表示装置上で前記組織の治癒段階内の前記組織部位の領域を識別するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記少なくとも1の領域を目立たせることにより、前記医師が前記少なくとも1の領域を識別するのを可能にすることには、前記医師が組織部位の前記少なくとも1の領域周囲の境界を設けることを可能にすること、が含まれることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理ユニットがさらに:
第1の組織の治癒段階内にある組織部位の少なくとも1の領域の面積を判定し;
第2の組織の治癒段階内にある組織部位の少なくとも1の領域の面積を判定するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項7に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理ユニットがさらに、前記正規化された画像における組織の色をユーザが選択するのに応えて、その選択色の色の範囲のパーセンテージ内にある組織部位内の組織すべてを識別するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記基準色マーカがカードであることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記基準色マーカが白であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理ユニットがさらに、前記基準色マーカの画像の少なくとも一部に基づいて少なくとも1の画像パラメータを調節して、前記画像データを正規化するように構成されており、
前記少なくとも1の画像パラメータが、ホワイトバランス画像パラメータを具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 処理システムを用いて、組織の治癒を分析する方法において、当該方法が:
前記処理システムのプロセッサが、組織部位及び予め定められた色の基準色マーカを含む画像を取り込むステップと;
前記プロセッサが、前記基準色マーカの画像を前記予め定められた色に調節することで画像の色調節を決定するステップと、
前記プロセッサが、前記画像の色調節を組織部位の画像に適用して、組織部位の画像を正規化して、正規化された画像を生成するステップと;
前記プロセッサが、組織部位における第1タイプの組織を識別するために、前記正規化された画像における組織部位の色を、第1組織タイプを規定する色の第1範囲と自動的に比較するステップと;
前記プロセッサが、組織部位における第2タイプの組織を識別するために、前記正規化された画像における組織部位の色を、第2組織タイプを規定する色の第2範囲と自動的に比較するステップであって、第1および第2組織タイプが異なる治癒段階にあるステップと;
前記プロセッサが、第1および第2組織タイプを識別するステップと;
前記プロセッサが、前記正規化された画像を医師に提示するステップとを具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法がさらに、前記プロセッサが、組織のある治癒段階内にある前記組織部位の第1組織タイプの少なくとも1の領域を目立たせることにより、前記医師が前記少なくとも1の領域を識別するのを可能にするステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項13に記載の方法において、前記プロセッサが、前記組織部位の第1組織タイプの少なくとも1の領域を目立たせることにより、前記医師が前記少なくとも1の領域を識別するのを可能にするステップは、前記組織部位の少なくとも1の領域が、壊死組織、肉芽組織、又は腐肉組織であることを、前記医師が識別するのを可能にするステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項13に記載の方法がさらに、前記プロセッサが、前記組織部位の第1組織タイプの少なくとも1の領域の面積を計算するステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法がさらに、前記プロセッサが、前記組織部位を表示し、当該表示された組織部位において前記組織の治癒段階内の前記組織部位の少なくとも1の領域を識別するステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項13に記載の方法において、前記プロセッサが、前記組織部位の少なくとも1の領域を目立たせることにより、前記医師が前記組織部位の少なくとも1の領域を識別するのを可能にするステップは、前記医師が前記組織部位の少なくとも1の領域周囲の境界を設けることを可能にするステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項12に記載の方法がさらに:
前記プロセッサが、第1の組織の治癒段階内にある組織部位の少なくとも1の領域の面積を判定するステップと;
前記プロセッサが、第2の組織の治癒段階内にある組織部位の少なくとも1の領域の面積を判定するステップとを具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項18に記載の方法がさらに、前記プロセッサが、前記正規化された画像における組織の色をユーザが選択するのに応えて、その選択された色の中から色の範囲のパーセンテージ内にある組織部位内の組織すべてを識別するステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項12に記載の方法において、前記プロセッサが、基準色マーカを含む画像を取り込むステップが、白の基準色マーカの画像を取り込むステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
