吸着剤1.0gを、リン酸イオンの含有量がP元素として2000ppmに調製したNaH2PO4水溶液(約pH4.4)400mL中に添加し、2時間スターラーで攪拌して、その後該水溶液から懸濁粒子をろ紙で濾別して、濾液中のリン酸イオン濃度をICPにて定量することによって行った。
調製した吸着剤のホウ酸イオン吸着能に関する測定方法について説明する。
吸着剤0.5gを、ホウ素イオン含有量がB元素として100ppmに調製したNa2B4O7水溶液(NaOHを添加してpHを約12.0に調製。)500mL中に添加し、2時間スターラーで攪拌して、その後該水溶液から懸濁粒子をろ紙で濾別して、濾液中のホウ酸イオン濃度をICPにて定量することによって行った。
調製した吸着剤のホウ酸イオンとフッ酸イオン混合吸着能に関する測定方法について説明する。
吸着剤0.5gを、ホウ素イオン含有量がB元素として5ppm(Na2B4O7使用)、フッ素イオン含有量がF元素として30ppm(NaF使用)に調製したホウ酸イオン・フッ素イオン混合水溶液500mL(NaOHを用いてpHを約12.0に調製。)中に添加し、2時間スターラーで攪拌して、その後該水溶液から懸濁粒子をろ紙で濾別して、濾液中のホウ酸イオン濃度をICPにて、フッ素イオンをイオンクロマトグラフで定量することによって行った。
内容量2.5lの円筒形ステンレス製容器に、8mol/Lの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液1.0lを投入し、系内を攪拌しながら60℃に保持しておく。これに2.0mol/Lの硫酸マグネシウム水溶液1.5lを添加し、反応容器内を攪拌しながら、pH値が13.5、95℃で、5時間熟成して白色沈殿物を生成した。得られた白色沈殿物の一部を取り出し、濾過、水洗、乾燥した後にX線回折によって同定した結果、水酸化マグネシウムであることを確認した。次いで、前記白色沈殿物を含有する水懸濁液を室温まで冷却し、イオン交換水によるデカンテーションを行って、pH値を10.0に下げ、全量1.6lの懸濁液とする。該懸濁液に、住友化学製水酸化アルミニウム粉末C−301 78gを含むスラリー0.5Lを添加して、容器内で攪拌しながら、30℃で2時間保持する。保持終了後、濾過、水洗の後、60℃で乾燥することにより、水酸化物混合粒子粉末を得た。
ここに得た吸着剤Aを用いて、前記方法に従ってリン酸イオン含有水の処理を行ったところ、被処理液中に含まれているリン2000ppmが950ppmに低減された。吸着量は吸着剤1g当たり0.42gであった。処理後のpHは12.3であった。
内容量2.5Lの円筒形ステンレス製容器に純水1.5Lを入れ、さらに重質炭酸カルシウム粉末(丸尾カルシウム スーパーSSS)65g(平均粒子径2.0μm)と顔料用ヘマタイト(戸田工業製 120ED)20g(平均粒子径0.15μm)および住友化学製水酸化アルミニウム粉末C−301 7.8g(平均粒子径1.0μm)を入れ、反応容器内を攪拌しながら、5時間保持した。その後、濾過、水洗、乾燥した後に、60℃で乾燥することにより、混合粒子粉末を得た。
ここに得た吸着剤Bを用いて、前記方法に従ってホウ酸イオン含有水の処理を行ったところ、被処理液中に含まれているホウ素100ppmが53ppmに低減された。吸着量は吸着剤1g当たり0.047gであった。処理後のpHは12.4であった。
各種金属化合物の種類、量、混合方法、加熱温度、加熱時間などを種々変化させた以外は、前記<吸着剤の製造>と同様にして複合酸化物粒子粉末を得た。
なお、表2の結晶相は、それぞれ、A:MgO、B:Ca3Al2O6(Fe固溶体含む)、C:CaAl2O4(Fe固溶体含む)、D:ヘマタイト、E:CaCO3、F:CaO、G:Mg(OH)2、H:ノルトストランダイト、I:カルシウムダイフェライト(Al固溶体含む)、J:アルミナである。
比較のために、各種金属化合物の種類、量、混合方法、加熱温度、加熱時間などを種々変化させた以外は、前記<吸着剤の製造>と同様にして複合酸化物粒子粉末を得た。
Claims (1)
- 溶液または固体中のフッ素イオン、ホウ素イオン及びリン酸イオンを吸着・不溶化する吸着剤であって、カルシウムイオン、アルミニウムイオン及び鉄イオンを含む複合酸化物粒子粉末であって、Caのモル数をd、Alのモル数をe、Feのモル数をfとしたとき、d+e+f=1、1.0≦d/(e+f)≦3.0、0<d、0.05≦e≦0.22、0.03≦f≦0.45であり、原料混合物を900〜1050℃の加熱処理温度で30分〜180分間加熱処理したものであり、結晶相がカルシウムダイフェライト(2CaO・Fe2O3)、酸化カルシウム(CaO)、ヘマタイト、Ca3Al2O6、CaAl2O4から選ばれる1種以上(アルミニウムの一部が鉄で置換されて固溶している場合、鉄の一部がアルミニウムで置換されて固溶している場合を含む)であって少なくともCa3Al2O6を含むものであることを特徴とする吸着剤。
