Description
(商品名:ノクラックMMBZ他)、1,3−ビス(ジメチルアミノプロピル)−チオウレア(商品名:ノクラックNS−10他)、ジメチルチオカルバミン酸ニッケル(商品名:サンダントTT−NI他)、ジブチルチオカルバミン酸ニッケル(商品名:ノクラックNBC、サンダントNBC他;JIS略号NiBDC)が挙げられ、2−メルカプトベンゾイミダゾールが特に好適である。メルカプトベンゾイミダゾール化合物は分子内に芳香族アミンも有しており、複合系酸化防止剤といえる。
この原因は明確ではないが、芳香族系プロセスオイル分子が有するナフタレン環、アントラセン環、フェナントレン環などの多環芳香族が、放射線エネルギーを共鳴安定化するためと推定している。添加量は特に規定しないが、エチレン系ポリマ100重量部に対し50重量部以下が好ましい。50重量部以上では難燃性試験の裕度が低下するためである。
図3は、単心の銅導体1に絶縁体2を被覆した3線心を介在4とともに撚り合わせ、押え巻きテープ5を施し、最外層をシース3として押出被覆したケーブルを示す図であり、シース3単独、またはシース3および絶縁体2の両方を本発明の耐放射線性非ハロゲン難燃性樹脂組成物により作製する。
(1)シースの引張試験
作製したケーブルシースを、JISC3005に準拠して引張試験を行った。引張強さ(Tb)は10MPa未満のものを×(不合格)、それ以上を○(合格)とした。
(2)耐放射線性
作製したケーブルにガンマ線を照射し、その後シースの引張試験を行った。ガンマ線照射は線量率5kGy/hで1MGyの照射を行った。伸びが50%未満のものを×(不合格)、50〜200%のものを○(合格)それ以上を◎(裕度を持って合格)とした。
(3)燃焼試験
ガンマ線照射後のケーブルをIEEE Std.383(1974)に準拠した垂直トレイ燃焼試験を行い、焼損距離が180cmを超えるのものを×(不合格)、130〜180cmのものを○(合格)、130cm未満のものを◎(裕度を持って合格)とした。
(4)外観試験
ガンマ線照射後のケーブルシース表面を目視観察し、ブリードまたはブルームが見られたものを不合格、これらが見られないものを合格とした。

Claims (6)
- エチレン系ポリマ100重量部に対し、メルカプトベンズイミダゾール系の酸化防止剤を30重量部以下、該酸化防止剤と併用される融点が40℃以上の芳香族アミン系酸化防止剤を1〜30重量部および金属水酸化物を50〜300重量部混和してなる樹脂組成物であって、前記メルカプトベンズイミダゾール系の酸化防止剤(B)と該酸化防止剤と併用される芳香族アミン系酸化防止剤(A)の添加量の比(B/A)が2以上10以下であることを特徴とする耐放射線性非ハロゲン難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記芳香族アミン系酸化防止剤が、キノリン系化合物またはフェニレンジアミン系化合物である請求項1記載の耐放射線性非ハロゲン難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記エチレン系ポリマ100重量部に対し、50重量部以下の芳香族系プロセスオイルが混和されている請求項1又は2記載の耐放射線性非ハロゲン難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記エチレン系ポリマが、エチレン−アクリル酸エステル共重合体からなる請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の耐放射線性非ハロゲン難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の耐放射線性非ハロゲン難燃性樹脂組成物を被覆材料として適用したことを特徴とする電線。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の耐放射線性非ハロゲン難燃性樹脂組成物を被覆材料として適用したことを特徴とするケーブル。
