Description

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative molded product and a decorative molded product that are decorated by directly printing a pattern such as a wood grain pattern on the surface of a molded substrate.

For automotive interior parts such as steering wheels, methods such as hydraulic transfer (fluid printing), film insert molding (integrated molding decoration), and in-mold molding (in-mold transfer) using a decorative film printed with a wood grain pattern are used. The wood grain pattern is decorated on the surface of the base material made of a synthetic resin material. However, in such a decoration method, the decorative film itself is relatively expensive, and the yield at the time of decoration tends to be poor and the cost tends to be high.

On the other hand, as a decoration method for reducing costs without using a decorative film, for example, a method of directly printing a wood grain pattern on the surface of a base material by a technique such as offset printing using a soft pad has been conventionally used. It is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

However, when decorating a substrate over the entire 360 ° circumference like a steering wheel, it is necessary to divide the printing process into two processes on the front and back sides, for example. For this reason, when the base material is misaligned, discontinuous misalignment occurs between the wood grain patterns printed in different processes, which may impair the appearance of the product.
JP-A-10-129104

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a decorative molded product capable of producing a decorative molded product having an excellent appearance on appearance, and a decorative molded product produced by the production method. .

In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, there is provided a method for producing a decorative molded product, which is decorated by directly printing a predetermined pattern on the surface of a molded base material, Forming a positioning part on the base material, a printing step for directly printing the predetermined pattern on the surface of the base material on the basis of the positioning part, and the base material with a concealing material And a concealing step of concealing and engaging the end of the concealed object with the groove formed in the base material, and the positioning unit provides a method for manufacturing a decorative molded product including the groove .

Moreover, in order to achieve the said objective, according to this invention, it is the decoration molded product which gave decoration by printing a predetermined pattern directly on the surface of the shape | molded base material, Comprising: The said base material When forming, a forming step for forming a positioning portion on the base material, a printing step for directly printing the predetermined pattern on the surface of the base material on the basis of the positioning portion, and concealing the base material with a concealing material And a concealing step of engaging an end of the concealed object with the groove formed in the base material , wherein the positioning part is a decorative molded product formed in the groove part of the base material A manufacturing method is provided.

In the present invention, at the time of forming the base material, a positioning portion is formed in a portion concealed in the base material in use, and the positioning portion is used as a reference in direct printing. Since this positioning part is formed in the base material itself, when the predetermined pattern is directly printed on the surface of the base material, it is possible to absorb the shift of the base material generated during the molding. As a result, it is possible to make the printed surfaces printed in separate steps continuous, and to produce a decorative molded product that is excellent in appearance as a product.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 is a plan view showing the overall configuration of the steering wheel according to the first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an enlarged plan view of a portion II in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. It is.

The steering wheel 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention is a so-called combination type steering wheel in which a wood grain pattern is attached to a grip 2 and genuine leather is wound. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the steering wheel 1 includes a cored bar 10, a first base material 20 molded so as to cover the cored bar 10, and a grain on the surface of the first base material 20. First decorating part 30 directly printed with a handle, second base material 40 formed so as to cover core 10, an end of first base material 20 and second base material 40 And a second decorative portion 50 concealed with genuine leather.

The metal core 10 includes a ring portion 11 formed of a steel pipe or the like, and a boss portion 12 and a spoke portion 13 formed by die casting forging an aluminum alloy, a magnesium alloy, steel, or the like. The ring part 11 and the boss part 12 are connected by 13.

The first base material 20 is configured by, for example, injection molding of a relatively hard synthetic resin material such as ABS resin, and the upper and lower portions of the ring portion 11 and the spoke portion 13 of the cored bar 10 in FIG. It is formed so as to cover the lower part of. As shown in FIG. 2, the second decorative portion 50 is provided at a portion that becomes a boundary between the first decorative portion 30 and the second decorative portion 50 at the end portion of the first base material 20. An annular groove 21a for locking the end portion of the leather to be formed is formed.

The first decorating part 30 is 360 degrees around the surface of the first base material 20 between the groove part 21a formed on one end side and the groove part 21a formed on the other end side (rotation of the steering wheel 1). A wood grain pattern is directly printed over the entire circumference of the grip 2 along the axis. This direct printing method will be described later. In the present invention, the pattern printed directly on the surface of the first base material is not limited to the wood grain pattern, and may be an aluminum tone or stainless steel pattern, for example. In addition, characters and the like may be directly printed taking advantage of direct printing, and the predetermined pattern in the present invention includes characters and symbols.

As shown in FIG. 2, on the surface of the first base material 20 in the present embodiment, a first decorative portion 30 is formed up to the groove portion 21a, and the first decorative portion is located on the end side from the groove portion 21a. Instead of 30, a second decorative portion 50 is formed. That is, the first base material 20 enters the second decorating part 50.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG.2 and FIG.3, in the case of the direct printing of the 1st decorating part 30 in the part L which entered the 2nd decorating part 50 in the 1st base material 20. A reference concave portion 21b is formed. The recess 21b has a shape that can be fitted to the tip shape of a positioning jig 105 provided in the pad moving device 104 described later. In addition, in this embodiment, although this recessed part 21b is provided in the both ends of the 1st base material 20, it is not limited to this in particular in this invention, One edge part of the 1st base material 20 A plurality of recesses 21b may be formed. Alternatively, the opening shape of the recess 21 a may be a non-circular shape such as a rectangle, and only one recess 21 b may be formed at one end of the first base material 20.

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view along the groove in the steering wheel according to the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view along the groove in the steering wheel according to the third embodiment of the present invention.

In 2nd Embodiment of this invention, as shown in FIG. 4, the recessed part 21b used as the reference | standard in the case of the direct printing of the 1st decorating part 30 is formed in the groove part 21a. Moreover, in 3rd Embodiment of this invention, as shown in FIG. 5, the genuine leather which comprises the 2nd decorating part 50 as a reference | standard positioning part in the case of the direct printing of the 1st decorating part 30 is shown. The shape of the groove 21a itself for locking the end of the groove is used. As described above, the second decorative portion can be obtained by forming the positioning portion serving as a reference in the direct printing of the first decorative portion 30 in the groove portion 21a or by using the groove portion 21a itself as the positioning portion. The feel of leather winding at 50 is good.

Returning to FIGS. 1 to 3, the second base material 40 in the first embodiment of the present invention is configured by RIM molding a relatively soft synthetic resin material such as polyurethane resin, for example. It is formed so as to cover the left and right parts of the ring part 11 and the spoke part 13 of the core metal 10 inside.

The 2nd decoration part 50 is adjacent to the 1st decoration part 30, and conceals the whole 2nd base material 40 and the edge part L of the 1st base material 20 with genuine leather. ing. Accordingly, the recess 21b formed in the first base material 20 is hidden by the second decorating part 50 in a state where the steering wheel 1 is a product, and cannot be visually recognized from the outside. In addition, as a concealment in this invention, it is not limited to a genuine leather, For example, you may use cloths, such as a synthetic leather and a velvet.

Next, a method for manufacturing a steering wheel according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.

FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing a method of manufacturing a steering wheel according to the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 7A to 7D are schematic views showing first to fourth steps of offset printing in the first embodiment of the present invention. 8 is a schematic view showing a state in which the soft pad is brought into contact with the first base material by the pad moving device in the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG.

In the method for manufacturing the steering wheel 1 according to the present embodiment, first, in step S10 in FIG. 6, the cored bar 10 is formed by die casting forging.

Next, in step S20, the upper and lower portions of the ring portion 11 of the core metal 10 and the lower portion of the spoke portion 13 are inserted into an injection mold, and a molten ABS resin or the like is injected into the cavity to thereby obtain the first. The base material 20 is molded. The injection mold is engraved with an annular protrusion having a shape substantially opposite to the shape of the groove 21a (opposite shape) and a protrusion having a shape substantially opposite to the shape of the recess 21b. It is. Therefore, at the same time as the first base material 20 is formed by the injection molding in step S <b> 20, the groove portion 21 a and the concave portion 21 b are formed in the first base material 20.

Next, in step S30, the ring part 11 of the core metal 10 and the left and right parts of the spoke part 13 are inserted into a RIM molding die, and the isocyanate and polyol mixed in the cavity are injected, and these are injected into the die. The second substrate 40 is formed by foaming simultaneously with the polymerization reaction.

Next, in step S <b> 40, the wood grain pattern is directly printed on the surface of the first base material 20 by offset printing using the soft pad 103. Specifically, first, as shown in FIG. 7A, the ink 102 is applied onto the flat plate 100 by the inkjet head 101. Next, as shown in FIG. 7B, a soft pad 103 having a curved surface substantially opposed to the front curved surface of the first base member 20 is pressed against the flat plate original plate 100, and the ink 102 applied to the flat plate original plate 100 is pressed. Is transferred to the curved surface of the soft pad 103. Next, as shown in FIG. 7C, the soft pad 103 is moved and brought into contact with the front-side curved surface of the first base material 20 to be printed, so that the ink 102 on the curved surface of the soft pad 103 is brought into contact with the first base material. Transfer to 20 front curved surfaces. A similar operation is performed on the back-side curved surface of the first base material 20 to complete the direct printing of the wood grain pattern on the first base material 20.

In the present embodiment, the soft pad 103 is relatively positioned with respect to the first base material 20 when the soft pad 103 is brought into contact with the first base material 20 in any curved surface printing on the front and back sides. To do. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 8, the tip of the positioning jig 105 provided in the pad moving device 104 that moves the soft pad 103 relative to the first base material 20 is connected to the first base material 20. Are inserted into the recesses 21b formed at both ends. At this time, since the tip of the positioning jig 105 has a shape that can be fitted into the recess 21 b, the soft pad 103 is positioned relative to the first base material 20. Thereby, when printing a grain pattern directly on the surface of the 1st base material 20, the gap of the 1st base material which arose at the time of injection molding can be absorbed, and the front and back printed by each separate process can be absorbed. Since it can be made continuously, the steering wheel 1 excellent in appearance is manufactured.

In the third embodiment of the present invention, a substantially semi-annular protrusion is formed at the tip of the positioning jig 105 so as to be opposed to the shape of the groove 21 a formed in the first base member 20. Further, in the second embodiment of the present invention, similarly to the first embodiment, the tip of the positioning jig 105 may have a shape that can be fitted into the recess 21b. Alternatively, in addition to the shape that can be fitted into the recess 21b, a protrusion may be provided that faces the shape of the groove 21a as in the third embodiment.

Next, in step S50, the second decorative portion 50 is formed by winding genuine leather around the second base material 40. Specifically, a genuine leather, which has been cut into a predetermined shape in advance and has a perforated stitch hole, is attached to the surface of the second base material 40, and is sewn in a predetermined stitch pattern. Part is pushed into the groove 21a.

The embodiment described above is described for facilitating the understanding of the present invention, and is not described for limiting the present invention. Therefore, each element disclosed in the above embodiment is intended to include all design changes and equivalents belonging to the technical scope of the present invention.

For example, in the above-described embodiment, the method of manufacturing the steering wheel 1 has been described.
