Description
Claims (16)
- タンクからの液体を飲料媒体と接触させて飲料を調製する飲料調製システムにおいて、前記タンク内の液体レベルを判断する方法であって、
液体ポンプによって、液体レベルが低レベルから高レベルに可変であるタンクを用意することと、
導電性プローブが前記タンク内の液体と接触していない状態で、該タンクと関連する導電性プローブを含むプローブ回路の基準特徴を測定することと、
前記液体ポンプによって、前記導電性プローブが前記液体と接触していないレベルから前記タンクの充填を開始することと、
前記タンクの充填中に、前記基準特徴を測定した後で前記プローブ回路の第1特徴を測定することと、
前記第1特徴と前記基準特徴の差が所定のしきい値を超えたことに基づいて、前記液体が前記導電性プローブ位置と同一またはそれより上であると、前記第1特徴が測定される時点とほぼ一致して前記タンク内の前記液体レベルを判断する判断段階と、
前記判断段階で、前記液体が前記導電性プローブ位置に至らず、前記液体が前記導電性プローブと接触していないと判断すると、前記方法がさらに、
前記タンクの充填中に、測定した第1特徴に基づいて基準特徴の値を更新することと、
前記第1特徴の測定後、前記タンクの充填中に、前記プローブ回路の第2特徴を測定することと、
更新された基準特徴と前記第2特徴の差が所定のしきい値を超えたことに基づき、液体が前記導電性プローブ位置と同一またはそれより上であると、前記第2特徴が測定される時点とほぼ一致してタンク内の液体レベルを判断することと、
を包含する方法。 - 前記判断段階は、前記第1特徴が測定される時とほぼ一致してタンク内の液体レベルを判断することと、前記液体レベルが前記導電性プローブの位置または上、あるいは該導電性プローブの下であるかどうかを判断することを包含する、請求項1の方法。
- 前記測定した第1特徴に基づいて基準特徴の値を更新することは、前記第1特徴の値を前記基準特徴に指定することを含む請求項1の方法。
- 前記基準特徴が、前記プローブ回路に見られる抵抗、電圧、キャパシタンスを表す、請求項1の方法。
- 前記プローブ回路が前記タンクの少なくとも一部分を含む、請求項1の方法。
- 前記液体が水であり、前記飲料がコーヒー、紅茶、水溶性物質を含む他の飲料である、請求項1の方法。
- タンクからの液体を飲料媒体と接触させて飲料を調製する飲料調製システムにおけるタンク内の液体レベルを判断する液体レベル判断システムであって、
液体ポンプによって低レベルから高レベルに液体レベルが可変であるタンク内の液体と接触する構造および構成を持つ導電性プローブを含むプローブ回路と、
前記導電性プローブが前記タンク内の液体と接触していない状態で前記プローブ回路の基準特徴を測定し、液体ポンプによって液体の前記タンクへの供給を開始し、前記タンクの充填中に、該基準特徴を測定した後で該プローブ回路の第1特徴を測定し、該第1特徴と該基準特徴の差が所定のしきい値を超えたことに基づいて、前記液体が前記導電性プローブ位置と同一またはそれより上であると、該第1特徴が測定される時とほぼ一致して該タンク内の該液体レベルを判断する制御装置と、
を包含し、
前記制御装置は、前記液体が前記導電性プローブ位置と同一またはそれより上に至らず前記導電性プローブに接触していないと判断された時とほぼ一致して第1特徴を測定した場合に、前記タンクの充填中に測定された第1特徴を前記基準特徴に指定して更新し、
前記制御装置は、前記第1特徴の測定後、前記タンクの充填中に、前記プローブ回路の第2特徴を測定し、前記第2特徴と該基準特徴の差が所定のしきい値を超えたことに基づき、前記液体が前記導電性プローブ位置と同一またはそれより上であると、該第2特徴が測定される時とほぼ一致して液体レベルを判定するシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、前記第1特徴の値を前記基準特徴に指定する請求項7のシステム。
- 前記第1特徴が測定される時点にほぼ一致して前記液体レベルが前記導電性プローブの下であると判断された時に前記第1特徴の値が前記基準特徴に指定される、請求項8のシステム。
- 前記基準特徴が、前記プローブ回路に見られる抵抗、電圧、キャパシタンスの変動により変化する値を表す、請求項7のシステム。
- 前記プローブ回路が前記タンクの少なくとも一部分を含む、請求項7のシステム。
- 前記制御装置が、前記タンクの充填中に前記基準特徴を反復的に測定する、請求項7のシステム。
- 前記液体が水であり、前記飲料がコーヒー、紅茶、水溶性物質を含む他の飲料である、請求項7のシステム。
- 前記飲料調製システムが、飲料媒体を含む使い捨てカートリッジを受け取る調合室を含み、該飲料媒体を前記液体と接触させることにより前記飲料が調製される、請求項7のシステム。
- 前記飲料調製システムが、前記飲料媒体と接触する液体を加熱するヒータを含む、請求項14のシステム。
- 前記飲料調製システムが水保管タンクと、該水保管タンクからの水が加熱されるとともに該水が前記室へ提供される計量タンクとを含む、請求項7のシステム。
