Description
(1) 患者を治療するための、近位端及び遠位端を有するバルーンカテーテルであって、
内部を規定するバルーンと、
近位膨張用出入り口と近位ガイドワイヤ用出入り口とを規定するハブと、
近位端及び遠位端を有する可撓性シャフトと、
を備え、
前記シャフトは、前記バルーンと前記ハブの間に伸びており、且つ、前記近位膨張用出入り口から前記バルーンの内部まで伸びている膨張用管腔を規定しており、且つ、前記近位ガイドワイヤ用出入り口から前記カテーテルの遠位端付近の遠位ガイドワイヤ用出入り口の間に伸びているガイドワイヤ用管腔を規定しており、
前記ハブは、前記シャフトの近位端に取り付けられており、
前記バルーンは、前記シャフトの遠位端近辺で前記シャフトに取り付けられており、
前記シャフトの少なくとも一部分は、管状内部体及び管状外部体を有しており、該内部体及び該外部体の各々が、近位端及び遠位端を有しており、前記外部体は、前記内部体の少なくとも一部分を取り囲んでおり、
前記内部体の一部分は、近位端及び遠位端を有するハイポチューブ(hypotube)によって補強されており、前記ハイポチューブの遠位部分は、該ハイポチューブの可撓性を高めるための螺旋状切断部であるスパイラルカットを有しており、該スパイラルカットにおける1の切断箇所と長手方向において該1の切断箇所の隣に位置する他の切断箇所との間の長手方向における距離である前記スパイラルカットのピッチは、該スパイラルカットの近位位置から該スパイラルカットの遠位位置まで徐々に減少して、該ハイポチューブの前記スパイラルカットの近位および遠位に伸びている、前記シャフトの部分の間に、可撓性の移行部が与えられている、バルーンカテーテル。
(2)前記スパイラルカットの前記ピッチが、非線形に減少している、上記実施態様1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(3)前記ハイポチューブが、前記内部体の一部分を取り囲み、該一部分に取り付けられている、上記実施態様1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(4)前記スパイラルカットの前記ピッチが、指数関数的に減少している、上記実施態様1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(5)前記外部体が外のり寸法及び内のり寸法を有しており、それら寸法はいずれも、近位位置から遠位位置まで減少している、上記実施態様1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(7)前記内部体は、近位位置が遠位位置までの内層と外層の間に伸びている、より合わせた補強材を有している、上記実施態様6記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(8)長さ方向の単位距離当りのより合わせの数が、近位位置から遠位位置となるにしたがって増大している、上記実施態様7記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(9)前記内層がポリ四フッ化エチレン(PTFE)である、上記実施態様6記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(10)前記内層が高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)である、上記実施態様6記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(12)前記外層の複数の部分が、異なる複数の可撓性を有している、上記実施態様6記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(13)前記ハイポチューブの遠位端と、外層材料の可撓性の移行部と、単位距離当りのより合わせ数の間の移行部とは、それぞれ異なる位置に配置されている、上記実施態様8記載のバルーンカテーテル。

Claims (5)
- 患者を治療するための、近位端及び遠位端を有するバルーンカテーテルであって、
内部規定するバルーンと、
近位膨張用出入り口と近位ガイドワイヤ用出入り口とを規定するハブと、
近位端及び遠位端を有する可撓性シャフトと、
を備え、
前記シャフトは、前記バルーンと前記ハブの間に伸びており、且つ、前記近位膨張用出入り口から前記バルーンの内部まで伸びている膨張用管腔を規定しており、且つ、前記近位ガイドワイヤ用出入り口から前記カテーテルの遠位端付近の遠位ガイドワイヤ用出入り口の間に伸びているガイドワイヤ用管腔を規定しており、
前記ハブは、前記シャフトの近位端に取り付けられており、
前記バルーンは、前記シャフトの遠位端近辺で前記シャフトに取り付けられており、
前記シャフトの少なくとも一部分は、管状内部体及び管状外部体を有しており、該内部体及び該外部体の各々が、近位端及び遠位端を有しており、前記外部体は、前記内部体の少なくとも一部分を取り囲んでおり、
前記内部体の一部分は、近位端及び遠位端を有するハイポチューブ(hypotube)によって補強されており、前記ハイポチューブの遠位部分は、該ハイポチューブの可撓性を高めるための螺旋状切断部であるスパイラルカットを有しており、該スパイラルカットにおける1の切断箇所と長手方向において該1の切断箇所の隣に位置する他の切断箇所との間の長手方向における距離である前記スパイラルカットのピッチは、該スパイラルカットの近位位置から該スパイラルカットの遠位位置まで徐々に減少して、該ハイポチューブの前記スパイラルカットの近位および遠位に伸びている、前記シャフトの部分の間に、可撓性の移行部が与えられており、
前記ハイポチューブが、前記内部体の一部分を取り囲み、該一部分に取り付けられており、
前記内部体が、異なるポリマー材料で造られた内層及び外層を有しており、該内層は滑らかであり、
前記内部体は、近位位置から遠位位置までの内層と外層の間に伸びている、より合わせた補強材を有しており、
前記補強材は、長さ方向の単位距離当りのより合わせの数が、近位位置から遠位位置となるにしたがって徐々に増大する、より合わせの数の移行部を有しており、
前記外層は、可撓性が徐々に変化する可撓性移行部を有しており、
前記ハイポチューブの前記可撓性の移行部と、前記外層の前記可撓性移行部と、前記補強材の前記より合わせの数の移行部とは、バルーンカテーテルの長さ方向において、それぞれ異なる位置に配置されている、バルーンカテーテル。 - 前記スパイラルカットの前記ピッチが、非線形に減少している、請求項1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記スパイラルカットの前記ピッチが、指数関数的に減少している、請求項1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記外部体が外のり寸法及び内のり寸法を有しており、それら寸法はいずれも、近位位置から遠位位置まで減少している、請求項1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記内層が、前記外層の溶融温度より低い溶融温度を有している、請求項1記載のバルーンカテーテル。
