Description
Claims (4)
- 電気機器の電源として用いられる電池パックであって、
複数の電池セルが直接に接続されて成る電池セル群と、
その電池セル群に属する前記複数の電池セル間に接続された通電遮断素子であって、電気的に通電状態と遮断状態に切り換わるものと、
前記電池セル群から前記電気機器へ電力を供給するための電力供給端子と、
前記電池パックの状態を認識する状態認識部と、
その状態認識部によって認識された当該電池パックの状態に基づき、当該電池パックの電力供給を制御するコントローラと、
前記電池セル群に接続された蓄電部であって、前記通電遮断素子が前記通電状態にあるために前記電池セル群が通電している、当該電池パックの通常動作状態において、前記電池セル群によって充電されるものと
を含み、
前記状態認識部は、前記通電遮断素子が遮断状態にあるために前記電池セル群が通電していない、当該電池パックの待機状態において、前記蓄電部の存在なしでは、前記電池セル群の電力を受けて作動できる状態にはなく、
前記状態認識部は、当該電池パックの通常動作状態においては、前記電池セル群を用いて作動する一方、当該電池パックの待機状態においては、前記蓄電部を用いて作動する電池パック。 - 前記状態認識部は、前記電池セル群の少なくとも1個の電池セルの電圧と、前記電池セル群の少なくとも1個の電池セルの温度と、前記電池セル群の電流とのうちの少なくとも1つを認識する請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記コントローラは、前記電池セル群を充電するための充電制御部を含み、
前記状態認識部は、当該電池パックの外部からの電力が前記充電制御部に入力されるか否かを認識する請求項1または2に記載の電池パック。 - さらに、
前記電気機器の端子が前記電力供給端子に接続されていない状態において第1位置に位置し、一方、前記電気機器の端子が前記電力供給端子に接続されている状態において、前記第1位置から変位した第2位置に位置するカバーを含み、
前記状態認識部は、前記カバーの変位を認識する請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の電池パック。
