Claims (22)
- 時空間ビットインタリーブ符号化変調(STBICM)送信機により送信された複数の複素記号を含む受信信号からビットデータ列を再生する方法であって、前記方法は、
各複素記号を複数のグループのそれぞれの1つに割当てるステップであって、前記グループの少なくとも1つは複数の複素記号を含むことを特徴とするステップと、
各グループに対して、前記受信信号から前記グループのメンバでない1つまたは複数の複素記号の寄与を除去して、雑音除去信号を生成するステップと、
各グループに対して、前記雑音除去信号を用いて前記グループのメンバである1つまたは複数の複素記号を結合的にデマップし、符号化されたビット列の一部を表す複数の軟情報値を形成するステップと、
各グループからの少なくとも軟情報値を復号化して、前記ビットデータ列を表す軟情報の第1の列を生成するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記軟情報の第1の列を使用して前記ビットデータ列を決定するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記復号化するステップが、前記符号化ビット列を表す軟情報の第2の列も生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記軟情報の前記第2の列を使用して前記複素記号を表す軟記号を形成するステップをさらに備え、前記除去するステップ、使用するステップ、および復号化するステップが繰り返されて、各グループに対して、後続の除去するステップが前記グループのメンバでない1つまたは複数の複素記号に対応する前記軟記号を使用して、前記受信信号に対するこれらの1つまたは複数の複素記号の寄与を決定することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記軟情報値の第2の列は、前記符号化ビット列に関する新旧の情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記除去するステップ、使用するステップ、および復号化するステップが繰り返されて、各グループに対して、雑音除去信号を使用して前記グループのメンバである前記1つまたは複数の複素記号を結合的にデマップする後続のステップが、前記軟情報値の第2の列の一部を使用して前記1つまたは複数の複素記号を結合的にデマップするステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのグループに対して、前記の除去するステップは、前記雑音除去信号を空間的にフィルタするステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の複素記号を有する前記少なくとも1つのグループに対して、前記雑音除去信号を用いて前記1つまたは複数の複素記号を結合的にデマップする前記ステップは、抑制探索技術を用いるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記の割当てステップは、前記複素記号間の相関に基づいて複素記号を前記グループに割当てるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記の割当てるステップは、前記形成グループの前記複素記号が閾値以下の平均相関を有するときに、形成したグループの前記複素記号を、それぞれの単一メンバのグループに対して、再割当てするステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記グループの任意の1つに割当てた複素記号の最大数は、受信機の処理能力に基づくことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つまたは複数の受信要素により前記複素記号を受信するステップをさらに備え、複素記号より少ない受信要素があることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- STBICM送信機により送信された複数の複素記号を含む受信信号からビットデータ列を再生するシステムであって、前記システムは、
デマッパと関連付けられた1つまたは複数の複素記号を有するようにそれぞれ構成した複数のデマッパであって、前記デマッパの少なくとも1つは、そのデマッパと関連付けられた複数の複素記号を有し、各デマッパは、
前記受信信号から、前記デマッパと関連付けられていない1つまたは複数の複素記号の寄与を除去して雑音除去信号を生成する干渉除去モジュールと、
前記干渉除去モジュールからの前記雑音除去信号を用いて前記デマッパと関連する1つまたは複数の複素記号を結合的にデマップし、符号化ビット列の一部を表す複数の軟情報値を形成する軟情報計算器と
を備える複数のデマッパと、
前記デマッパと通信し、前記デマッパからの少なくとも前記軟情報値を復号化して、前記ビットデータ列を表す軟情報値の第1の列を生成する復号器と
を備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記復号器と通信し、前記軟情報の第1の列を用いて前記ビットデータ列を決定する硬判定モジュールをさらに備える請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記復号器が、前記符号化ビット列を表す軟情報値の第2の列も生成することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記復号器と通信し、前記軟情報の第2の列を用いて前記複素記号を表す軟記号を形成する軟記号マッパをさらに備え、
前記軟記号マッパが、前記システムが繰り返しループシステムとなるように前記デマッパの前記干渉除去モジュールとも通信することと、
所与のデマッパの前記干渉除去モジュールが、前記デマッパに関連付けられていない1つまたは複数の複素記号に対応する前回の繰り返しからの前記軟記号を用いて、前記受信信号に対するこれら1つまたは複数の複素記号の寄与を決定することと
を特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 少なくとも1つのデマッパに対して、前記軟情報計算器が、抑制探索軟情報計算器であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つのデマッパが、前記干渉除去モジュールからの前記雑音除去信号を空間的にフィルタして前記の空間フィルタした雑音除去信号を前記軟情報計算器に転送する空間フィルタモジュールをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 各複素記号をそれぞれのデマッパに関連付けるグループ構築モジュールをさらに備える請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記グループ構築モジュールが、前記複素記号間の相関に基づいて複素記号を前記デマッパに関連付けることを特徴とする請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記デマッパの任意の1つに関連付けられる複素記号の最大数は、受信機の処理能力に基づくことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記複素記号を受信する1つまたは複数の受信要素をさらに備え、複素記号より少ない受信要素があることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のシステム。
