Description
ポリ乳酸樹脂には、結晶化速度が遅いグレードのポリL-乳酸(PLA)(三井化学 レイシアH440)を使用した。一方機能性フィラーには、4官能基を持つペンタエリスリトールにD-乳酸を50分子グラフト重合させたものを使用した。そしてPLAにその機能性フィラーを10%添加し、プリフォームを作製した。そしてそのプリフォームの口部を結晶化し、耐熱性を確認した。
(1)プリフォーム:500ml用
(2)ヒーター温度設定:300→490℃
(3)熱処理時間:5分、10分
(4)炉出口での口部温度:81℃〜126℃
(1)H440単体(熱処理なし)
(2)H440 + フィラー10%(熱処理なし)
(3)H440 + フィラー10%(熱処理時間5分)
(4)H440 + フィラー10%(熱処理時間10分)
尚、H440単体の熱処理品は、溶融による外観不良を呈し、サンプルとして使用できず、評価不能であった。
上記の実施例1で使用したポリ乳酸であるH440は、主成分はL-乳酸であるが、D体を約5%含んでいる製品である。なおポリL-乳酸中に含まれる微量のD-乳酸の量が結晶性に影響を及ぼすことが知られている。そこで結晶性とポリ乳酸樹脂の耐熱性の関係を検討するために、D体の含量が約2%と少なく、結晶性が高い三井化学 レイシアH400を用いて同様の手法で耐熱性の検討を行なった。
(1)H400単体(熱処理なし)
(2)H400単体(熱処理時間10分)
(3)H400 + フィラー10%(熱処理なし)
(4)H400 + フィラー10%(熱処理時間10分)
H400に有機系フィラーを添加した材料と、H440に有機系フィラーを添加した材料を二軸押出機にてペレットにして、示差走査熱量測定(DSC)を検討した。測定器はPerkin-Elmer社製のPlyris-DSC7を使用した。測定温度はフィラーを添加した系では室温(30℃)→250℃、フィラーを添加しない系では30℃→190℃を採用した。昇温速度は10℃/分とした。更に機能性フィラーとしては、Aerosilシリカ300、PEG600、トリメチロールプロパン、ペンタエリスリトールに、D-乳酸を10分子、30分子または50分子グラフト重合させたものを使用した。H400における結果を表1に、H440における結果を表2に、それぞれ示す。
Claims (13)
- ポリL−乳酸から成る樹脂に、2〜4個の水酸基を持つ化合物にD−乳酸を1〜100分子グラフト重合させた機能性フィラーを配合し、開口部を熱処理してなることを特徴とするプリフォーム。
- 前記ポリ乳酸が60,000〜80,000の数平均分子量を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記化合物が多糖又はオリゴ糖から選択される糖類であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記オリゴ糖が5炭糖であることを特徴とする請求項3記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記化合物がシリカナノ粒子からなる無機化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記化合物がポリエチレングリコール、トリメチロールプロパン又はペンタエリストールから選択される有機化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記D−乳酸は30〜50分子をグラフト重合させたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記機能性フィラーが、4個の水酸基を持つペンタエリスリトールにD−乳酸を50分子グラフト重合させたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記機能性フィラーの配合量が前記ポリL−乳酸に対して5〜20重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記機能性フィラーの配合量が前記ポリL−乳酸に対して10重量%であることを特徴とする請求項9記載のプリフォーム。
- 示査走査熱量計測定において、ポリ L−乳酸から成る樹脂の単体での融点以外に融点ピークを1以上有することを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載のプリフォーム。
- 請求項1から請求項11のいずれか1つの請求項記載のプリフォームをブロー成形してなる中空成形品。
- ポリL−乳酸からなる樹脂に、2〜4個の水酸基を持つ化合物にD−乳酸を1〜100分子グラフト重合させた機能性フィラーを配合し、機能性フィラーを配合した当該樹脂を押し出し成形、圧縮成形又は射出成形して樹脂の成形体を作製し、当該成形体の開口部を熱処理する工程を有することを特徴とするプリフォームの製造方法。
