Description

本開示は、開放外科手順および/または腹腔鏡外科手順のために使用される電気外科用鉗子に関する。より具体的には、本開示は、血管および脈管組織をシール、焼灼、凝固/乾燥、および/または切断するための使い捨て可能な電極アセンブリを有する双極鉗子に関する。
止血鉗子または鉗子は、簡単なプライヤー様ツールであり、これは、そのジョー間での機械的な動作を使用して組織を締め付け、一般に、組織を握り、解剖し、そして/またはクランプするために、開放外科的手順において使用されている。電気外科鉗子は、組織および血管を加熱して組織を凝固、焼灼および/またはシールすることにより止血をもたらすために、機械的クランプ動作および電気的エネルギーの両方を利用する。

Claims (7)
- 鉗子と共に使用するための可動性電極アセンブリであって、該鉗子は、対向するエンドエフェクタおよび該エンドエフェクタを互いに対して相対的に移動させるためのハンドルを有し、該電極アセンブリは、以下:
該鉗子の少なくとも一部と取り外し可能に係合可能な少なくとも1つの部分を有するカバープレート;
該鉗子の少なくとも一部と取り外し可能に係合可能な少なくとも1つの部分を有する電極ハウジング;
該ハウジングの遠位端に取付け可能な一対の電極であって、該電極は、該鉗子の該エンドエフェクタと取り外し可能に係合可能であり、その結果、該電極は、互いに対向する関係で配置される、電極;および
該対向する電極の間の距離を制御するための少なくとも1つの止め部材であって、該止め部材は、該電極と係合可能であり、そして該電極に取り外し可能に取り付けられ、その結果、該少なくとも1つの止め部材が選択的に交換または除去されることにより、該対向する電極の間に所望の距離を生じることができる、止め部材、

- 請求項2に記載の可動性電極アセンブリであって、前記電極の各々の前記絶縁基材が、前記鉗子の対応するエンドエフェクタ上に配置される相補機械的インターフェースを係合するための少なくとも1つの機械的インターフェースを備える、可動性電極アセンブリ。
- 請求項3に記載の可動性電極アセンブリであって、前記基材のうちの少なくとも1つの前記機械的インターフェースが、少なくとも1つの移動止めを備え、そして前記対応するエンドエフェクタの機械的インターフェースが、該移動止めをスライド可能にかつしっかりと収容するための少なくとも1つの相補鍵様ソケットを備える、可動性電極アセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載の可動性電極アセンブリであって、前記止め部材が、ジョー部材の内側に向いた表面から0.001インチ(25.4μm)〜0.005インチ(127μm)突出している、可動性電極アセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載の可動性電極アセンブリであって、前記止め部材が、ジョー部材の内側に向いた表面から0.002インチ(50.8μm)〜0.003インチ(76.2μm)突出している、可動性電極アセンブリ。
- 双極電気外科用器具であって、以下:
鉗子であって、対向するエンドエフェクタ、および該エンドエフェクタを互いに対して相対的に移動させるためのハンドルを有する、鉗子;
該鉗子に取り外し可能に取付け可能な電極アセンブリであって、該電極アセンブリは、その遠位端に取り付けられる一対の対向する電極を備え、該電極の各々は、該エンドエフェクタの1つと取り外し可能に係合可能であり、その結果、該電極が互いに対向する関係で存在する、電極アセンブリ;および
