送信用探触子:2MHz、広帯域、φ20mm。
受信用探触子:1MHz、広帯域、φ20mm。
接触媒質 :ソニコートBS300。
印加電圧 :400V。
受信用探触子として、2MHz、広帯域、φ20mmの探触子を用い、かつ印加電圧を40Vとした以外は、実施例1と同一の手順に従い、透過波を測定した。

Claims (4)
- レールの頭部側又は足部側のいずれか一方に送信用探触子を配置し、該送信用探触子から超音波を送信する送信工程と、
前記レールの頭部側又は足部側の他方であって前記送信用探触子が送信する超音波の軸線とは一致しない位置に受信用探触子を配置し、前記送信用探触子から送信される前記超音波を前記受信用探触子で受信する受信工程と、
前記送信用探触子が超音波を送信してから前記受信用探触子が超音波を受信するまでの時間の、くびれ部近傍に水平裂がないレールに超音波が前記超音波送信用探触子より送信されてから前記受信用探触子により受信されるまでの時間からの遅れに基づいて欠陥の有無を判別する判別工程と、
を備えたレールの検査方法。 - 前記レールは、高マンガン鋳鋼からなる鋳造レールである請求項1に記載のレールの検査方法。
- 前記超音波の周波数は、0.5MHz以上5MHz以下である請求項1又は2に記載のレールの検査方法。
- 前記送信用探触子及び前記受信用探触子は、アレイ探触子である請求項1から3までのいずれかに記載のレールの検査方法。
