Claims (1)
- エンジン(E)の駆動力が直接的に伝達される前輪(Wf)と、エンジン(E)の駆動力の一部が多板クラッチ(C)を介して間接的に伝達される後輪(Wr)とを備え、前記多板クラッチ(C)は、前輪(Wf)および後輪(Wr)の回転速度差に応じて油圧ポンプ(Pf,Pr)が発生する油圧で係合する四輪駆動車両の動力伝達装置であって、
前輪(Wf)の回転に連動する第1カム部材(62)と後輪(Wr)の回転に連動する第2カム部材(63)との回転速度差に応じて発生する軸方向のスラスト力で多板クラッチ(C)を係合させるトルクカム機構(61)を備え、
前記トルクカム機構(61)は、前記回転速度差に応じて前記油圧ポンプ(Pf,Pr)が発生する前記油圧による前記多板クラッチ(C)の係合をアシストすべく、車両の前進走行時に前輪(Wf)の回転速度が後輪(Wr)の回転速度を上回った場合にスラスト力を発生し、かつ車両の前進走行時に後輪(Wr)の回転速度が前輪(Wf)の回転速度を上回った場合にスラスト力を発生しないように構成された四輪駆動車両の動力伝達装置において、
前輪(Wf)の回転を第1差動装置(2)を介して第1カム部材(62)に伝達する第1ギヤ機構(4)のギヤ比(α)よりも、後輪(Wr)の回転を第2差動装置(6)を介して第2カム部材(63)に伝達する第2ギヤ機構(5)のギヤ比(β)を大きく設定して、前進定速走行時に前記多板クラッチ(C)が係合して不必要な四輪駆動状態とならないようにしたことを特徴とする四輪駆動車両の動力伝達装置。
