BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a binding device for binding a loose leaf having a plurality of binding holes along an edge, and more particularly, for binding a loose leaf type album, notebook, transparent film storage bag, and the like. Relates to an improved binding device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
There are roughly two types of binding tools that close the loose leaf by opening and closing the binding ring, and a so-called external type of type in which a large number of loose leaves are simply held by an appropriate binding device having a binding ring. There are two types, one is a so-called internal type in which a binding tool holding a loose leaf is fixed to the inside of the back part of a hard cover by using eyelets or scissors.
Typical types of external attachments include coil spring-shaped metal fittings that are inserted through a number of binding holes arranged at regular intervals along the back of a large number of loose leafs. For example, a binding device having an open and substantially complete ring-shaped individual binding ring may be used as well.
Furthermore, a registered utility model No. 3001068 has also proposed a binding tool that can be opened and closed so that a loose leaf can be replenished with a similar external type. This type of loose-leaf binding device includes a first substrate and a second substrate, and the first substrate includes an insertion plate and a plurality of first binding rings attached at predetermined intervals along the outer edge of the insertion plate. The second substrate has a side wall in which a plurality of second binding rings are erected at a predetermined interval along an outer edge opposite to the outer edge of the insertion plate of the first substrate, and a flat groove into which the insertion plate is inserted densely. It has an upper plate and a lower plate formed together with the side walls.
The first substrate and the second substrate are formed as separate separable members, and any of the leading ends of the insertion plate, the upper plate and the lower plate facing each other has a cross section when the first substrate and the second substrate are closed. The first substrate and the second substrate are configured to have an annular shape, and the first substrate and the second substrate have at least intermediate locking means that can be engaged with and disengaged from each other in order to limit displacement of the binding ring when closing. I have one. In addition, guide ribs and guide grooves are provided in a direction crossing the substrate in order to align both binding rings of the substrate.
[0003]
It is necessary that the ring-type binding device of the external type does not get in the way when turning the loose leaf, but in the above-mentioned utility model type, the binding ring is closed between the insertion plate of both substrates and the flat groove. Because it depends on the fitting, the close contact force is strong and convenient for aligning and holding the binding ring, but there is a need for a margin for forming the insertion plate and flat groove, so the width of the substrate is too narrow Can not do it. Specifically, the limit is about 8 mm, and if it is narrower than that, the holding by fitting becomes insufficient, and the board is easily bent, so that it is difficult to fit the charging plate and the flat groove. Further, the above-mentioned utility model has a problem that it is difficult to align the guide plate with the guide groove by fitting the insertion plate and the flat groove when closing both substrates. Further, when both substrates are removed and the binding ring is opened, there is no clue and it is difficult to open.
[0004]
In order to deal with such problems, the present applicant has disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-283382 that the first substrate has through holes that cross the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the binding tool. A configuration in which a plurality of locking recesses are provided on the upper surface of the outer edge of the binding ring, and the second substrate has a plurality of pins that respectively fit in the through holes and a locking protrusion that fits in the recess at the closed position of the binding ring. The loose leaf binding tool was proposed.
According to this configuration, even if the substrate is narrower than 8 mm, even if the substrate is narrowed to about 3 mm, both the substrates can be securely connected by the pin and the through-hole, and the guide and the ring are precisely connected by them. In addition to being able to collide, there are few frictional contact points between both boards, making it easy to assemble and open both boards, and the board is fixed by locking the locking recesses and locking protrusions. Since the ring is firmly closed and held, the loose leaf can be effectively prevented from coming off.
Further, in this configuration, a means for opening the binding ring can be inserted by cutting out the opposing inner surfaces of the two substrates at the other end of one of the first substrate and the second substrate, and the binding ring is opened. When inserting, a tool such as a coin or a nail is inserted into the recess formed by these notches to open the other ends of both substrates, and then the locking projections are sequentially removed from the locking recesses to separate the two substrates. It is possible to open both binding rings.
However, in the loose-leaf binding tool configured as described above, the resistance force when the loose-leaf binding tool is opened due to the mutual engagement between the locking protrusion and the locking recess is further reduced, and the operability of the loose leaf is further increased. There is room for improvement to improve.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
To provide a loose-leaf binding tool that has a necessary and sufficient loose-leaf holding force at the time of closing, but that has a smaller resistance than that of a conventional equivalent product.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve these objects, the present invention provides an external type loose-leaf binding device having the following configuration.
In other words, according to the present invention, the elongated first substrate that erects the plurality of first binding rings at predetermined intervals along the outer edge, and the plurality of first substrates at predetermined intervals along the outer edge opposite to the outer edge of the first substrate. A second substrate that erects a two-ring ring, and the first substrate and the second substrate are combined with each other in a state in which the respective ends in the longitudinal direction are fixed to each other so as to be rotatable, and the closed end A loose-leaf binding device that opens and closes the first and second binding rings by opening and closing the center of
The first substrate has a through hole that crosses the longitudinal direction at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction of the binding tool, and a plurality of locking recesses on the upper surface of the outer edge on the first binding ring side,
The second substrate has a plurality of pins that fit into the through holes, and a locking projection that fits into the locking recess at the closed position of the binding ring,
A loose-leaf binding device is provided, wherein the locking projection has an inclined bottom surface with a slope descending toward the closed end of the loose-leaf binding device.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the following, a loose-leaf binding device that is particularly suitable for external attachment (not attached to the inside of the cover, but attached to the outside of the cover) according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. FIG. 1 shows a binding tool of the present invention manufactured by injection molding as two members including a first substrate and a second substrate from a plastic such as polypropylene or ABS having rigidity and toughness that does not easily break against external force. FIG. 1A is a plan view, and FIG. 1B is a front view of one substrate. FIG. 2C is a partial cross-sectional side view taken along line AA in FIG. 1B (only one substrate is shown), and FIG. 2D is a view of the substrate shown in FIG. It is the front view seen from the arrow (c) direction in the left end part position. FIG. 3 is a partial cross-sectional side view taken along line BB in FIG.
[0009]
The binding tool includes a left member made of an elongated first substrate 1 that erects a plurality of first binding rings 3 at predetermined intervals along the outer edge, and an outer edge opposite to the outer edge of the first substrate 1 at predetermined intervals. It consists of the right member which consists of the 2nd board | substrate 2 which made the several 2nd ring 4 stand up, and the said 1st ring 3 and the 2nd ring 4 are closed by combining both the board | substrates of these right and left members mutually. This is a loose-leaf binding tool. When the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 are combined with each other, the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 have a substantially rectangular cross section as a whole and extend in the longitudinal direction. As shown in FIG. 3, a small hole 5 and a small protrusion 6 are respectively formed at the tips of the first and second binding rings 3 and 4 in accordance with a conventional method. Alignment and prevention of loose leaf fall off.
[0010]
The first substrate 1 has a bottom plate 9 having a horizontal upper surface 7 at a lower portion thereof, and the second substrate 2 has a lower surface 8 in contact with the upper surface of the bottom plate 9. As shown in FIG. 3, the first substrate 1 has a substantially L-shaped cross section over its entire length, and the second substrate 2 has a substantially rectangular cross section over its entire length. With this structure, when the second substrate 2 is incorporated into the first substrate 1, the upper surface 7 and the lower surface 8 constitute a guide surface that slides on each other, and aligns both the members and aligns and holds the ring.
[0011]
The first binding ring 3 and the second binding ring 4 are formed thick at the attachment base portions 11 and 12 to the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 in an in-plane direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the binding tool. Also in the present invention, since the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 are thin like the conventional products and have flexibility, the mounting base portion is made rigid so that the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 can be made rigid. The reinforcing rings 3 and 4 are reinforced together.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 3, the first substrate 1 has a plurality of through holes 13 that cross the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the binding tool, as shown in FIGS. 2 (c), 2 (d), and 3. The second substrate 2 has a plurality of pins 14 (illustrated as eight in FIG. 1B) that fit into the corresponding through holes 13. These through-holes 13 and pins 14 precisely position the binding rings 3 and 4 in the longitudinal direction when both substrates are assembled. The through hole 13 is formed in the meat stealing recess 17 provided below the thick attachment base 11 of the binding ring 3, and there is no possibility that the strength of the substrate 1 is lowered.
[0013]
Further, the first substrate 1 has a plurality of locking recesses 15 on the upper surface of the outer edge on the first binding ring 1 side at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction of the binding tool (the center position of the adjacent binding rings in the figure). The second substrate 2 has a locking projection 16 that fits into the recess 15 at the closed position of the binding rings 3 and 4, and the locking projection 16 has a rounded tip. The locking projection 16 is provided with a locking recess 15 and slightly shifted from the pin 14 in the longitudinal direction of the binding device. By doing so, the mutual influence on the engagement / disengagement between the pin 14, the locking recess 15 and the locking projection 16 is minimized, and the respective locking actions are stabilized. The locking projection 16 serves as a locking means for holding both the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 in a closed state, but the two substrates are not less than a predetermined level in the horizontal disengagement direction in FIGS. It should be determined so that it can be easily removed when pulled at a strength of.
[0014]
Particularly in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2D, the resistance force when the locking projection 16 is detached from the locking recess 15 is reduced when pulled at a strength of a predetermined level or more. An inclined bottom surface 100 with a slope is provided at the tip of the locking projection 16. As shown in FIG. 2D, the inclined bottom surface 100 has a gradient gradually descending in the longitudinal direction toward the closed end portion on the left side of the binding device in FIG. In a state in which the locking recess 15 is locked, a sufficient locking force is provided between the locking recess 15 and the locking recess 15 so that it is not inadvertently opened due to the weight of the loose leaf that has been bound. It should be in the form that will occur.
[0015]
Further, in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, when assembling both the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2, the first substrate 1 is used as a means for aligning both substrates in the longitudinal direction. And the closed end part which overlap | superposed each right end of the 2nd board | substrate 2, and was fixed so that rotation was possible was provided.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b), a hole 19 penetrating the right end in the transverse direction is provided at the right end of the first substrate 1, and at a position corresponding to the hole 19 at the right end of the second substrate. By providing a protrusion 20 that fits into the hole 19, this right end is a freely rotatable closed end.
In order to prevent the closed end portions from being separated from each other, the right end portion of the first substrate 1 provided with the hole 19 is formed as a “U” -shaped recess, and the right end portion of the second substrate is placed in the recess. And then the protrusion 20 can be inserted into the hole 19.
[0016]
On the other hand, the left end portions 25 and 26 of the first substrate 1 and the second substrate have notches 21 on the inner surfaces facing each other as shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b), so as to open the binding ring. For example, a coin or the like can be inserted between the substrate end portions 25 and 26. As a result, the binding rings 3 and 4 can be opened by rotating the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 around the closed end portion and opening them in directions away from each other.
[0017]
Operation Next, the operation of the binding device of the present invention will be described. First, it shall assemble from the state where the 1st board | substrate 1 and the 2nd board | substrate 2 have fallen apart.
First, the protrusion 20 of the second substrate 2 is inserted into the hole 19 at the right end of the first substrate 1 to form a rotatable closed end, and the positions in the length direction of both substrates are determined. Next, one or more loose leaves are hooked on the first binding ring 3 or the second binding ring 4 using the binding holes, and the lower surface 8 of the second substrate 2 is placed on the upper surface of the bottom plate 9 of the first substrate 1. Slide. As a result, both substrates approach in the horizontal direction and the pin 14 enters the through-hole 13, so that both substrates are closed as they are. As a result, the tips of the binding rings 3 and 4 abut against each other, and when further pressed, the locking projections 16 are elastically fitted into the recesses 15.
In FIG. 3, the binding rings 3 and 4 are positioned in the longitudinal direction of the binding tool by the through hole 13 and the pin 14, and the vertical positioning is performed by the through hole 13 and the pin 14, the upper surface 7 and the lower surface 8, and in the horizontal direction. The positioning is performed by the vertical inner surface 23 of the first substrate 1, the vertical inner surface 24 of the second substrate, the locking recess 15 and the locking projection 16.
[0018]
If the loose leaf needs to be replaced or refilled, the left end portions of both the first substrate 1 and the second substrate 2 are opened using the notch 21 between the left end portions 25, 26. When the locking projection 16 closest to the notch 21 is disengaged from the locking recess 15 and then the left end portions 25 and 26 are grasped with fingers of both hands and further opened to the side, the other locking projections are sequentially moved to the closed end portion. In other words, the images are sequentially deviated to the right in FIG. At this time, since the locking protrusion 16 has the inclined bottom surface 100 with a gradient descending toward the closed end portion of the binding device as described above, the resistance force based on the locking force is small in the initial stage of opening. It becomes possible to open the binding tool much more easily than the conventional one.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a very thin substrate can be formed because of its structure, so that it does not obstruct loose leaf turning and writing, and the ring can be easily and precisely closed. The holding feature is reliable, and when both substrates are opened and the binding ring is opened, the locking protrusion can be easily removed from the locking recess by the notch provided at the edge of the substrate. In addition to the features of the open 2002-283882, the provision of an inclined bottom surface in which the locking projection gradually descends toward the closed end of the binding device, the initial stage when the two substrates are subsequently opened to open the binding ring The resistance force is reduced and can be opened more easily.
