Description
CH2=CR1−COR2 ・・・(1)
(上記式(1)中、R1は水素またはメチル基、R2は下記の式(2)で表されるヘテロ環を含む一価の基であり、
さらに、本発明によれば、加飾印刷物の印刷面に合成樹脂を密着させたものであることを特徴とする加飾樹脂成形物が提供される。
(A)成分に含まれる(a)ハロゲン化ポリエステル(メタ)アクリレートは、分子内にハロゲンを有し、光に反応して硬化する。特に、塩素化ポリエステルアクリレートが好ましい。

(上記式(1)中、R1は水素またはC1〜C6アルキル基、R2はヘテロ環を含む一価の基を示す。)
上記式(1)中、R1におけるC1〜C6アルキル基としては、メチル、エチル、n−プロピル、イソプロピル、などが挙げられる。特に、水素またはメチルが好ましい。
特に、式(1)中、R2が、下記の式(2)で表される単官能モノマーであるものが好ましい。
(上記式(2)中、R3、R4はそれぞれ置換されていてもよいC1〜C3アルキレン基で、直接またはエーテル結合を介して環を形成する。)
上記式(2)中、R3、R4はそれぞれ直鎖のC1〜C3アルキレン基が好ましい。
(B)光重合開始剤は、1種を単独で、又は2種以上を混合して用いてもよい。
(c)光反応性希釈剤としては、脂肪族系(メタ)アクリレート、脂環式系(メタ)アクリレート、芳香族系(メタ)アクリレート、エーテル系(メタ)アクリレート、ビニル系モノマー、(メタ)アクリルアミド類等を挙げることができる。なお、(メタ)アクリレートは、アクリレート、メタアクリレートの少なくともいずれかを含有するものを意味する。
また、プラスチック素材への塗布性や印刷性の向上、あるいは紫外線硬化型樹脂組成物の粘度や、硬化皮膜(印刷皮膜)の厚さ調整のため等に、非重合性の有機溶剤を加えてもよく、あるいは合成樹脂を添加してもよい。
紫外線硬化型インキは、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン等のポリオレフィンやエチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体等の難接着性であるプラスチック素材に対しても、印刷又は塗装又は接着を施すことができる。また、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、塩化ビニル、処理ポリエチレンテレフタレート等のプラスチック素材や紙、金属等の易接着性である素材に対しても、印刷又は塗装又は接着を施すことができる。
前記した素材上に紫外線硬化型インキを塗布する方法としては、特に制限は無く、例えば、グラビアコート法、ロールコート法、カーテンコート法、スプレーコート法等のコート法や、グラビア印刷法、スクリーン印刷法等の印刷法を用いることができる。
これら前処理を施す場合は、JIS K 6768に規定された「ぬれ張力試験方法」に準拠して測定を行い、被印刷面のぬれ張力が、ポリプロピレン素材においては40mN/m以上、ポリエチレン素材においては46mN/m以上、エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体素材においては46mN/m以上になるよう、フレーム処理又はコロナ処理を施す。
より好ましいぬれ張力は、ポリプロピレン素材においては48mN/m以上、ポリエチレン素材においては54mN/m以上、エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体素材においては54mN/m以上である。
また、合成樹脂は、インサート成形等により、上記加飾印刷物と一体成形されることが好ましい。さらに、上記加飾印刷物の印刷面と合成樹脂との間に中間層を設けてもよい。こうすることにより、合成樹脂と印刷物との密着性がより向上する。中間層には、塩化ビニル・酢酸ビニル共重合体などの樹脂が挙げられる。
塩素化ポリエステルアクリレートにはダイセル・サイテック株式会社製Ebecryl 436、アクリロイルモルホリンには株式会社興人製ACMO、ウレタン系オリゴマーには日本化薬株式会社製カヤラッドUX-3204、光重合開始剤には2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニルプロパン-1-オンを使用した。
また、比較例4は塩素化ポリエステルアクリレートを100重量%、比較例5はアクリロイルモルホリンを100重量%として調製した。
なお、紫外線硬化型インキに、顔料などを含んだ場合でも以下の実験結果と同様の効果が得られる。
まず、印刷素材として、厚さ1.5mmのポリプロピレン板と厚み0.2mmのポリエステルシートを用意した。ポリプロピレン板については、JIS K 6768に規定された「ぬれ張力試験方法」に準拠して測定を行い、被印刷面のぬれ張力が40mN/mとなるよう前処理を施した。
次いで、各実施例及び比較例で調製された紫外線硬化型インキを用いて、スクリーン印刷法により、各印刷素材の被印刷面に印刷を行った。ポリプロピレン板には460メッシュのスクリーン版、ポリエステルシートには320メッシュのスクリーン版を使用した。一般に1メッシュは、1×1(インチ)に織り込まれた糸の本数を表す。
さらに、印刷が施された各印刷素材に対して、80W/cm1灯のメタルハライドランプの下をコンベアー速度5m/minで1回通過させることにより紫外線照射を行い、硬化塗膜(印刷皮膜)を有する加飾印刷物を得た。
従来は不可能であった、ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィン系素材に対しても、ポリエステル等の他の素材に対しても、ともに密着性が高く、使用が可能であることが示された。
従来の紫外線硬化型インキは、アクリロイルモルホリンなどの単官能モノマーを含有するものであっても、同時にハロゲン化ポリエステル(メタ)アクリレートを含有するものではなかった。しかし、表5から、塩素化ポリエステルアクリレートとアクリロイルモルホリンの併用によって得られる相乗効果により、密着性が向上することが示された。
実施例2、6と比較例1に示す配合に対して所定量のメタリック顔料を配合し紫外線硬化型インキを調製した。この紫外線硬化型インキを用いて上記と同様にして加飾印刷物を作成した。さらに、加飾印刷物の印刷面を内側になるよう金型にセットし、溶融したアクリル樹脂を金型中に射出し固化させて、加飾印刷物とアクリル樹脂が一体化した加飾樹脂成形物を得た。また、実施例2、6と比較例1で得られた加飾印刷物と、アクリル樹脂との間に、塩化ビニル・酢酸ビニル共重合体インキで中間層を設けて、同様にインサート成形により加飾樹脂成形物を得た。
得られた加飾樹脂成形物を目視にてその鏡面性の評価をした。また、JIS K 5400-1990 8.5.3 Xカットテープ法により密着性の評価をした。その結果を表6に示した。
Claims (8)
- (A)モノマー、オリゴマー
(B)光重合開始剤
を含むことを特徴とするスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキであって、
前記(A)成分は、
(a)ハロゲン化ポリエステル(メタ)アクリレートと、
(b)下記の式(1)で表される単官能モノマーと、
(c)光反応性希釈剤と、
(d)重合性オリゴマーと、
からなり、
前記(A)成分の合計量を基準として、
前記(a)の含有量を、45重量%以上、
前記(b)の含有量を、10重量%以上55重量%以下、
前記(c)の含有量を、0重量%以上15重量%以下、
前記(d)の含有量を、0重量%以上15重量%以下、
とすることを特徴とするスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキ。

前記(a)を、前記(A)成分の合計量を基準として、85重量%以下含有することを特徴とするスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキ。 - 請求項1または2に記載のスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキであって、
前記(b)は、アクリロイルモルホリンであることを特徴とするスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキ。 - 請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載のスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキであって、
前記(A)成分は、前記(a)および前記(b)の2成分からなることを特徴とするスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキ。 - 請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載のスクリーン印刷用紫外線硬化型インキを使用し、
プラスチック素材に対して、320〜460メッシュのスクリーンメッシュで加飾印刷を施したものであることを特徴とする加飾印刷物。 - 請求項5に記載の加飾印刷物の印刷面に合成樹脂を密着させたものであることを特徴とする加飾樹脂成形物。
- 請求項6に記載の加飾樹脂成形物において、
前記加飾印刷物の印刷面と前記合成樹脂との間に、中間層を設けたものであることを特徴とする加飾樹脂成形物。 - 請求項6または7に記載の加飾樹脂成形物において、
前記合成樹脂をインサート成形して得られたものであることを特徴とする加飾樹脂成形物。
