Claims (8)
- サブフィールドを少なくともアドレス期間と維持期間とに分割して駆動されるプラズマディスプレイ装置において、
アドレス期間の間、データ電圧の降下量を検出するための検出部、
前記データ電圧が降下前の値まで回復するように、前記検出部の検出結果に基づいて前記維持期間の長さを増加させるためのタイミングコントロール部を備えることを特徴とする、プラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 前記タイミングコントロール部は、最後の維持期間の開始時点から次のサブフィールドのリセット期間までの長さを変化させることによって維持期間の長さを変化させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置。
- 前記最後の維持パルスの開始時点から次のサブフィールドのリセット期間までの長さは、前記維持期間における最後の維持パルスの供給期間を変化させることによって変化されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置。
- 前記最後の維持パルスの供給期間は、1μs以上1ms以下の範囲で変化されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置。
- 前記最後の維持パルスの開始時点から次のサブフィールドのリセット期間までの長さは、維持期間の最後の維持パルスのグラウンド期間を変化させることによって変化されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置。
- 前記最後の維持パルスのグラウンド期間は、100μs以上1ms以下の範囲で変化されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置。
- 前記タイミングコントロール部によって制御されるプラズマディスプレイパネルをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置。
- サブフィールドを少なくともアドレス期間と維持期間とに分割して駆動されるプラズマディスプレイ装置駆動方法において、
アドレス期間の間、データ電圧の降下量を検出する段階、
前記アドレス期間中、データ電圧が降下前の値まで回復するように、前記降下量の検出結果に基づいて前記維持期間の長さを変化させる段階を含むことを特徴とする、プラズマディスプレイ装置駆動方法。
