本発明は、チューブ入り絵の具を収納する絵の具ケースに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
チューブ入り絵の具は、ばらばらの状態で持ち歩くと、踏まれたり、上に物を置かれたりした場合にチューブが裂け、絵の具が溢れ出て甚だ具合が悪い。そこでチューブ入り絵の具は、絵の具ケース内に収納されて持ち運ばれることが多い。そして絵の具ケースでは、ケースの蓋を開けた際に見栄えが良いように、また絵画を描く際に使いやすい様に、内部に仕切りが設けられ、この仕切り内に絵の具が入れられる。図１２は、従来技術の絵の具ケースの仕切りを示す斜視図である。従来技術の絵の具ケース１００では、仕切り１０１によって内面が長方形の升に区切られ、絵の具はこの中に入れられる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来技術の絵の具ケース１００は、開いた時の見栄えも良く、実用上も大きな問題は無い。しかしながら、従来技術の絵の具ケース１００は、持ち運びの際に絵の具ががたがたと音を立ててやかましく、また使用者に対して、中の絵の具がばらばらになっているのではないかと言う不安を与える。特に従来技術の絵の具ケース１００では、図１２の絵の具１０３の様に使いさしの絵の具を収納する場合、絵の具の全長が短いために仕切り１０１と絵の具１０３の間の隙間が大きく、仕切りの中１０１で絵の具が動いてやかましい。そこで本発明は、従来技術の上記した問題点に注目し、内部で絵の具をしっかりと保持することができ、且つ使いさしの絵の具を収納してもがたつきが少ない絵の具ケースを提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そして上記した目的を達成するための本発明は、絵の具がケースに収納された絵の具ケースにおいて、絵の具はキャップ付きチューブ内に入れられ、該キャップは手回し部と、該手回し部よりも小径の頸部を一体に有し、頸部側の端面からチューブの先端が挿入されるものであり、ケースは絵の具を固定する絵の具保持部を有し、該絵の具保持部は、キャップの手回し部の側面を支持する側面支持部と、キャップの手回し部の底部と当接可能な底部支持部と、絵の具のチューブの肩部と当接可能な肩部支持部とを有し、前記側面支持部は断面が半円状であり、絵の具保持部の側面支持部と底部支持部の間にキャップの手回し部が配されており、絵の具の長手方向の動きが前記底部支持部と肩部支持部によって規制されて、絵の具がケースに固定されており、絵の具保持部は、絵の具のキャップ底部とチューブの肩部との間を支持する頸部支持部を有し、頸部支持部によってキャップの頸部が支持されており、キャップの剛性はチューブよりも高く、剛性の高いキャップの小径の頸部が、側面支持部よりも半径の小さい円弧状の頸部支持部に保持されることを特徴とする絵の具ケースである。

従来技術の絵の具ケースが主として仕切りによってチューブ自体の動きを止めようとしていたのに対し、本発明の絵の具ケースは、絵の具のキャップ部分を支持することによってがたつきを防ぐものである。すなわち本発明の絵の具ケースでは、絵の具は絵の具保持部の側面支持部と底部支持部の間にキャップの手回し部が配されてケースに固定される。従って絵の具は、横方向の動きを側面支持部によって規制され、長手方向の動きは底部支持部によって規制されてがたつきが少ない。

また本発明では、前記した様に主としてキャップの動きを規制してがたつきを防止するものであり、キャップは絵の具の使用に係わらず形状が一定であるため、使いさしの絵の具を絵の具ケースに収納してもがたつかない。さらに本発明では、特にキャップの形状として手回し部よりも小径の頸部を有し、このキャップの頸部も絵の具の固定に寄与する。すなわち絵の具が動こうとした時、キャップの頸部が底部支持部の端面等に当たり、絵の具のがたつきを防ぐ。キャップの頸部は、手回し部と一体であり、剛性が高いので、当該部分の動きを規制することにより、絵の具全体がしっかりと保持される。

本発明では、頸部支持部を有し、当該頸部支持部によってキャップの頸部が支持される。前述のようにキャップの頸部は、手回し部と一体であって剛性が高く、この部位を頸部支持部によって支持することにより、絵の具のがたつきはより一層小さくなる。

図１および図２において、１は、本発明の実施形態の一つの絵の具ケースを示す。本実施形態の絵の具ケース１は、本体部２と蓋体３の他にパレット５を有し、本体部２と蓋体３の間にパレット５が収納される。順次説明すると、本体部２は、ＰＰ樹脂等の射出成形によって作られたものであり、絵の具や定規、筆等が収納される部分である。

本体部２は、図１，図４の様に上部が開口した高さの低い長方形の箱体であり、底板６と４面の側板７，８，９，１０を持つ。そして開口部分、すなわち側板７，８，９，１０の端部はいずれも外側に広がっており、当該部分で拡張部１２が構成されている。拡張部１２の高さは、パレット５の高さの４割程度であり、拡張部１２とその他の部位との間には、外側および内側のいずれにも段差が設けられている。そして外側の段差部であって、本体部２の短辺を構成する側板７，９には、図４（ｄ）の様に係止リブ１４が設けられている。係止リブ１４の長さは、本体部２の短辺の約３分の１であり、係止リブ１４は短辺の中心部に設けられている。拡張部１２の内側であって各側板７，８，９，１０の中央部分には、拡張部の周方向にパレット振れ止めリブ１３が設けられている。

本体部２の内部は、絵の具保持部１５を境にして、大きく絵の具収納部１６と、筆収納部１７に別れている。絵の具保持部１５は、複数の絵の具５０を動かない様に固定するものであり、同一形状の凹形が並列的に多数設けられたものである。絵の具保持部１５の凹形は、本実施形態に特有のものである。すなわち各凹形は、側面支持部１８と、頸部支持部２０を有する。側面支持部１８は、６乃至１５ｍｍ程度の幅を持ち、断面はどの部分も半円状であり、筆収納部１７側から絵の具収納部１６側に向かって広がるテーパが形成されている。側面支持部１８の円弧形状は、後記する絵の具５０のキャップ５２の手回し部５３に略等しい。

頸部支持部２０は、前記した側面支持部１８よりも幅が狭く、その幅は約２乃至３ｍｍ程度であり、後記する絵の具５０のキャップ５２の手回し部５３とチューブ５１の肩部との間の隙間に略等しい。そして頸部支持部２０には、前記した側面支持部１８よりも半径の小さい円弧状切り欠きが、側面支持部１８の凹形と同心位置に設けられている。頸部支持部２０の切り欠きの円弧形状は、後記する絵の具５０のキャップ５２の頸部５５に略等しい。頸部支持部２０の切り欠きの円弧形状が、側面支持部１８のそれよりも小さいため、側面支持部１８の一方には、切り欠きを有する壁が存在する。この壁の側面支持部１８側の部位は、底部支持部６０として機能する。また底部支持部６０と反対側の部位は、肩部支持部６１として機能する。本実施形態では、絵の具収納部１６は平坦である。

筆収納部１７部分の底板６には、４つの突起２２が設けられている。この突起２２は、定規等の平たい部材が底板６に密着してしまうことを防止するものであり、定規等の取り出しを容易にするものである。

また底板６の突起２２に挟まれた位置には、長円形の空気穴２１が長手方向に２つ設けられている。さらに筆収納部１７の長辺の側板１０には、４本の長円形の空気穴２７が設けられている。

蓋体３は、長方形をした盆状の部材であり、天井面２５と周面２６を備えて下面が開口している。蓋体３の開口部分は本体部２同様に外側に広がっており、当該部分で拡張部２８が構成されている。蓋体３の拡張部２８の端面形状は、前記した本体部２の拡張部１２と同一であり、拡張部２８は拡張部１２と合致当接する。また蓋体３の拡張部２８の高さは、パレット５の高さの６割程度である。蓋体３の天井面２５の内側の大きさは、縦横共に本体部２の外部底面よりも大きい。蓋体３の周面２６の内、短辺を構成する部位には、係合ヒンジ３０が設けられている。係合ヒンジ３０は、板状の部材であって、肉の薄い部分を介して蓋体３の周面２６に結合されており、当該肉薄の部位を中心に揺動可能である。係合ヒンジ３０の内面には、爪３１が設けられている。また蓋体３の周面２６の二つの長辺部には、それぞれ長方形の切り欠き２９が設けられている。切り欠き２９の位置は、後記するパレット５の取り外し用突起３７の位置に相当する。

パレット５は、長方形をした板状の部材であり、表面に絵の具を溶く小皿が多数形成されている。パレット５の外形の大きさは、前記した本体部２および蓋体３の拡張部１２，２８の内側寸法にほぼ等しい。またパレットの表面であって長手方向に近い部位には、少しの間隔を開けて２つ一組の突起３３が４組設けられている。突起３３の組は、長手の中心軸に対して対称位置に配されており、パレット５の使用時には、筆置きとして使用される。

パレット５の周部には、振れ止めリブ３５と取り外し用突起３７が設けられている。振れ止めリブ３５は、パレット５の短辺側の両側面に設けられており、高さが１ｍｍ程度と低い。振れ止めリブ３５は、長細い台形状をしており、パレット５の高さ方向の長さは、パレット５の高さの約４割程度であり、パレット５の表面側に寄って設けられている。

振れ止めリブ３５を含めたパレット５の全長は、前記した蓋体３の拡張部２８の内側寸法よりも僅かに小さい。また取り外し用突起３７は、長細い突条をなし、その長さ及び幅は、前記した蓋体３の切り欠き２９よりも僅かに小さい。本実施形態では、取り外し用突起３７のパレット表面に近い部位は、高さが低く作られており、当該部位は、振れ止めリブとして機能する。

次に本実施形態の絵の具ケース１の収納構造を説明する。パレット５の下半分は本体部２の拡張部１２に挿入され、さらにその上から蓋体３が被せられる。その結果、パレット５は本体部２と蓋体３の拡張部１２，２８によって形成される収納空間内に配される。またパレット５は、本体部２の振れ止めリブ１３や、パレット５自身の振れ止めリブ３５によって拡張部１２，２８内でのがたつきが防止される。パレット５の取り外し用突起３７は、蓋体３の切り欠き２９に嵌まり込み、突起３７の先端は、蓋体３の側面から突出し、外から触れることができる状態となる。

絵を描く際にパレット５等を取り出す場合は、前記した手順を逆に行う。すなわち、本体部２を下、蓋体３を上に置いて、係合ヒンジ３０の爪３１を本体部２の係止リブ１４から外す。そして蓋体３を本体部２から持ち上げる。この時、使用者が蓋体３の側面から突出した取り外し用突起３７を持って蓋体３を持ち上げると、蓋体３とパレット５が同時に取り外され、直接本体部２の内部を露出させることができる。一方、使用者が取り外し用突起３７以外の部位を持って蓋体３を持ち上げた場合には、蓋体３だけが取り外される。

絵を描く際には、蓋体３は、図２（ｃ）の様に、本体部２の下に敷く。すなわち蓋体３の天井面２５の内側の面積は、本体部２の外部底面よりも大きいので、蓋体３の開口を上に向け、この中に本体部２を置くことができる。そしてパレット５で所望の絵の具を溶き、絵を描く。構図等を考える等のために、筆を置く場合は、パレット５に設けられた突起３３に挟んだ状態で筆を置くと、筆が不用意に転ぶことが防止できる。

次に本実施形態の絵の具ケース１の絵の具の保持手段について説明する。絵の具ケース１には、本実施形態に特有形状の絵の具が内蔵される。絵の具５０は、図９、図１１の様に、樹脂製のチューブ５１とＰＰ樹脂等の樹脂製のキャップ５２が組み合わされたものである。そしてチューブ５１の先端には雄ねじが形成され、キャップ５２には図示しない雌ねじが形成されており、両者が螺合して内部が密閉される。

本実施形態に特有の構造として、キャップ５２には、使用者が回す部分である手回し部５３の他に、手回し部５３よりも直径が小さい頸部５５が設けられている。そして頸部側の端面からチューブ５１の先端が挿入される。本実施形態では、キャップ５２は、手回し部５３と一体に頸部５５が設けられており、キャップ５２自体はチューブ５１よりも剛性が高いので、絵の具５０の頸部はキャップ５２によって補強され、頸部の剛性は高い。

本実施形態の絵の具ケース１を運搬する手段は自由であり、このまま鞄等に入れて持ち歩いても良いが、本体部２に設けられた空気穴２７に紐を通し、この紐によって吊下状に保持することもできる。また蓋体３をパレットの代用として使用することもできる。

【発明の効果】
本発明の絵の具ケースは、側面支持部と底部支持部を有し、絵の具は側面支持部と底部支持部の間にキャップの手回し部が配されてケースに固定される。従って本発明の絵の具ケースでは、絵の具は、横方向の動きを側面支持部によって規制され、長手方向の動きは底部支持部によって規制されてがたつきが少ない効果がある。

また本発明では、使いさしの絵の具であっても新品の絵の具と同様にしっかりと保持される効果がある。さらに本発明では、キャップの形状として手回し部よりも小径の頸部を有し、絵の具の頸部の強度が高い。そして本発明は、強度を向上させた上で、当該頸部の動きを規制し、がたつき防止するものであり、絵の具全体がしっかりと保持される効果がある。
