Claims (4)
- 化石燃料と空気を用いて被焼却物を焼却する焼却炉であって、投入された被焼却物を熱分解する熱分解領域と、上記熱分解によって発生した分解ガスを二次燃焼する二次燃焼領域と、上記熱分解によって灰化および/または炭化した被焼却物を溶融する溶融領域と、上記熱分解領域および/または二次燃焼領域を加熱する第1バーナーと、上記溶融領域を加熱する第2バーナーとを備えた焼却炉であって、上記第1バーナーおよび/または第2バーナーには、上記化石燃料と空気に加えて酸素ガスと水素ガスを供給して燃焼させるとともに、上記化石燃料を水と混合してエマルジョン化して供給して燃焼させるようになっていることを特徴とする焼却炉。
- 上記溶融領域に設けられたスラグ排出口の近傍に、上記水素ガスおよび酸素ガスの供給を受けて水素火炎を放出する水素火炎バーナーが配置されている請求項1記載の焼却炉。
- 上記水素ガスと酸素ガスとして分離型の酸水素ガス発生器によって発生させたものを供給するようになっており、上記第1バーナーには、酸水素ガス発生器で発生した水素のうち、上記水素火炎バーナーに供給した残りの水素ガスを供給して水素リッチな条件で二次燃焼を行うようになっている請求項2記載の焼却炉。
- 上記水素ガスと酸素ガスとして分離型の酸水素ガス発生器によって発生させたものを供給するようになっており、第2バーナーには、酸水素ガス発生器で発生した酸素のうち、水素火炎バーナーに供給した残りの酸素ガス全量を供給して溶融領域において酸素富化加熱を行い得るようになっている請求項2記載の焼却炉。
