Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a structure for covering an edge portion of an upholstery (skin member) stretched on a seat portion or a backrest of a chair using a back cover and a back surface of these core members. More specifically, the present invention relates to an upholstery presser structure in which a chair upholstery and a back cover are brought into close contact with each other without generating a gap.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The seat and back of the chair consist of a core material called an inner shell, a cushion material such as urethane foam supported by this core material, and a leather, vinyl or cloth overhanging fabric that is stretched over the core. It consists of And the upholstery ground is extended by turning the edge part to the back side of the core material and pulling it lightly, and in that state, use a fixing needle such as a hook or a U-shaped needle (stapler needle) Then, it is fixed directly to the core member by welding or the like, or it is covered by squeezing the edge using a tightening means such as a wire or a rubber string. At this time, in order to conceal fraying and cut surfaces of the upholstery and improve the aesthetic appearance, a back cover called an outer shell is attached to hide sewing variations such as fraying of the upholstery.
[0003]
For example, taking backrest as an example, as shown in FIG. 5, the upholstery fabric 104 has an edge portion that is turned to the back side of the core material 102, and the edge portion is a tension means 105 such as a wire or a rubber strap. The core material 102 is covered by being squeezed by. Then, the back cover 106 is attached from above. The back cover 106 is formed slightly larger than the core material 102, and the peripheral wall 106 a portion of the back back cover 106 is fitted to the outside of the peripheral wall 102 a of the core material 102, and the back side of the core material 102 together with the cushion material 103. It attaches so that the edge of the back cover 106 may hold | suppress the upholstery fabric 104 wound around.
[0004]
A backrest structure as shown in FIG. 6 is also known. In the backrest 101, the peripheral wall 102a of the core member 102 and the peripheral wall 106a of the back cover 106 are brought into contact with each other, and the back cover 106 is mounted on the core member 102. Thereby, the edge part of the front-end | tip of the peripheral wall 106a of the back back cover 106 is closely_contact | adhered so that the cushion 103 and the overcoat 104 may be pressed on the front-end | tip of the peripheral wall 102a of the core material 102.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in each of the above-described backrest structures, the back cover 106 is simply placed on the upholstery 104, and the edge portion at the tip of the peripheral wall 106a is pressed against the upholstery 104 by placing it. If there is a molding error in the shape and dimensions of the core material 102 or the assembly accuracy is poor, a gap S is generated between the peripheral wall 106a and the upper fabric 104 as shown in the figure, and the upper fabric 104 is sewn. There is a problem that variations in the appearance appear in the appearance.
[0006]
Therefore, in order to prevent the gap S between the back cover 106 and the overlying fabric 104, the dimensional accuracy and assembly accuracy of the back back cover 106 and the core member 102 must be sufficiently increased, which increases the production cost. Have a problem.
[0007]
These problems are not problems specific to the backrest, but also occur in, for example, a seat or an armrest.
[0008]
Thus, the present invention provides a chair upholstery presser structure that allows the back cover and the upholstery to be in close contact with each other without particularly increasing the dimensional accuracy and assembly accuracy of the back cover and the core material. For the purpose.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve such an object, the present invention provides an upholstery presser structure that covers an edge portion of an upholstery stretched on a seat portion or a backrest of a chair using a back cover and covers the back surface of these core members. In addition, a groove is provided on the entire periphery of the peripheral edge on the back side of the core material so that the edge portion at the tip of the peripheral wall of the back cover is opposed, and the edge portion of the overstretch is wrapped around the groove while being wrapped around the groove. The tensioning means is squeezed, and the upper portion is supported by the groove portion in a free state to exert elasticity by the tension of the upper portion itself, while the upper portion is interposed between the groove and the peripheral wall of the back cover. The core material and the back cover are fixed so that the core is pushed into the groove, and the edge of the edge of the peripheral wall of the back cover is brought into close contact by the elastic force of the upper tension material stretched on the groove. I am doing so.

Therefore, when the back cover is assembled to the core material covered with the upholstery, the support of the upholstery becomes free at the groove, and the elasticity of the cushion and the tension of the cushion itself gives a large tension and exhibits appropriate elasticity. from become possible to, while push the overlayer locations the peripheral wall of the edge portion of the back cover is interposed between the core member and the back cover into the groove, and overlayer destinations in elasticity overlayer locations The edge part of the peripheral wall of the back cover adheres securely. Here, when the upholstery stretched on the groove is further elastically supported from the inside by the cushion, the close-up stretch and the peripheral wall can be more reliably adhered.
[0011]
Further, in the chair upholstery structure according to the present invention, the back cover or the core member is provided with a locking claw having a return portion at the tip, and the return claw is inserted into the other side. The outer peripheral direction of the cover perpendicular to the direction in which the engaging cylinder is provided with a stopper cylinder that engages with the stopper cylinder and the hole diameter of the stopper part of the engaging cylinder is set larger than the shaft part of the engaging claw. When the positional relationship between the groove and the edge of the edge of the peripheral wall of the back cover is shifted toward the outer periphery of the cover, the entire movement of the back cover toward the outer periphery of the cover is performed. It is to so that is opposed to the tip of the edge portion and the groove of the circumferential wall of the back cover by. In this case, even if the positional relationship between the groove of the core material and the peripheral wall of the back cover shifts in the cover outer peripheral direction due to poor molding accuracy, the shift is absorbed by moving the entire back cover appropriately in the cover outer peripheral direction. To be in an appropriate positional relationship.
Furthermore, the present invention provides the chair upholstery holding structure according to claim 2, further comprising a contact wall with which the distal end of the locking cylinder can contact the base end of the locking claw, engagement with the cylinder is, the locking claw is Ri to put between a state in which the leading end is in contact with the contact wall of the state and the locking tube caught on the stopper portion, when combined only with the core material and the back cover back The peripheral wall of the cover is located between the grooves and is not in contact with anything. In this case, the interval between the core material and the back cover can be changed within a range in which the locking claw and the locking cylinder engage with each other, and the core material and the back cover can be disposed without interposing an overlying fabric or a cushion material. In combination, the peripheral wall of the back cover is located between the outer peripheral wall and the inner peripheral wall, and is attached in a state where it does not touch anywhere.
Further, according to the present invention, in the upper support structure of the chair according to claim 1, the groove is formed between the double peripheral walls of the outer peripheral wall and the inner peripheral wall, and is opposed to the peripheral wall of the back cover over the entire periphery. I am doing so. In this case, the support of the upholstery is in a free state at the groove portion between the outer peripheral wall and the inner peripheral wall, and appropriate elasticity can be exhibited by the elasticity of the cushion and its own tension.
Further, according to the present invention, in the upholstery structure of the chair according to claim 4, the inner peripheral wall protrudes higher than the outer peripheral wall, and a step is formed between both walls. In this case, the support of the upholstery is in a free state at the groove portion between the outer peripheral wall and the inner peripheral wall, and the elasticity of the cushion and the tension of the cushion itself can be appropriately exerted, and the upholstery can be by squeezing inside the inner peripheral wall, it is possible to obtain a large tension in the groove portion between the outer wall and the inner peripheral wall.
Furthermore, the present invention is such that the tip of the peripheral wall of the back cover is close to the tip of the outer peripheral wall in the chair overhanging structure according to claim 4 or 5.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be described in detail based on an example of an embodiment shown in the drawings. In addition, this embodiment demonstrates the case where it applies to a backrest.
[0013]
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the backrest 1 of the chair includes a core material (inner shell) 2 that is swingably attached to the tip end portion of the back support rod 8, and urethane supported by the core material 2. From a cushion 3 such as foam, an upper fabric 4 covering the cushion 3 and the core material 2, and a back cover 6 attached to the core material 2 and covering the edge of the upper fabric and the back surface of the core material 2. The core material 2 is formed of, for example, plastic or the like, and at its periphery, double peripheral walls 7 and 11 projecting to the back side are formed, and the back cover 6 is formed between the outer peripheral wall 7 and the inner peripheral wall 11. Grooves 16 are formed around the entire circumference to fit the peripheral edges of the two. These peripheral walls 7 and 11 also function as reinforcing ribs. In the case of this embodiment, the inner peripheral wall 11 protrudes higher than the outer peripheral wall 7, and a step is formed between both walls 7 and 11. In the present embodiment, the core material 2 is for attaching a substantially elliptical substrate 2a, a number of reinforcing ribs 2b projecting to the back surface side of the substrate 2a, and a back support rod 8 substantially at the center of the back surface of the substrate 2a. The pin receiver 2c is provided. The reinforcing ribs 2b are provided vertically and horizontally and radially, and together with the inner and outer peripheral walls 7 and 11, give the substrate 2a sufficient rigidity as a backrest core material. The pin receiver 2c has a horizontal groove 2d in which the mounting pin 8a at the tip of the back support rod 8 is rotatably accommodated, and the mounting bracket 9 is fixed by a screw 10 so as to cover the pin receiver 2c. The mounting pin 8a is fixed and prevented from falling off. For this reason, the core member 2 can be swung around the mounting pin 8 a which is horizontal with respect to the back support rod 8. A projection 2e that restricts the swinging of the back support rod 8 is formed below the pin receiver 2c. Thereby, since the back support rod 8 does not contact the upholstery 4 at the lower part of the core material 2, damage to the upholstery 4 and the cushion 3 is prevented.
[0014]
A cushion 3 such as urethane foam is attached to the entire front surface of the core plate 2a and covered with an overlying fabric 4. The peripheral edge portion of the upholstery 4 wraps around the back side of the core material 2 so as to wrap around the outer peripheral wall 7 and the inner peripheral wall 11, and is squeezed over the entire circumference by a pressing means 5 such as a wire or a rubber string. Thereby, the upper fabric 4 is sewn in a state in which the cushion 3 is sandwiched between the upper material 4 and the core material 2. Here, the support of the upholstery ground 4 is in a free state at the groove 16 portion between the outer peripheral wall 7 and the inner peripheral wall 11, and is provided so as to exhibit appropriate elasticity due to the elasticity of the cushion 3 and its own tension. ing. Incidentally, the grooves 16 portion between the present embodiment, since the inner circumferential wall 11 protrudes from the outer peripheral wall 7, by squeezing inside the inner circumferential wall 11 of the overlayer land 4, the inner wall 11 and the outer peripheral wall 7 A large tension can be obtained. The upper fabric 4 may be artificial leather, leather, vinyl, polypropylene or the like in addition to fabric.
[0015]
On the other hand, the back cover 6 is made of, for example, plastic, and includes a substantially elliptical cover plate 6b and a peripheral wall 6a formed upright on the peripheral portion of the cover plate 6b. 2 and an inner space that covers the edges of the upholstery 4.
[0016]
Here, the core member 2 and the back cover 6 are engaged by locking mechanisms 13 provided at four locations around the pin receiver 2c. As shown in FIG. 4, the locking mechanism 13 includes a cylindrical locking cylinder 14 protruding from the back surface of the core member 2 and a locking claw 15 provided inside the back cover 6. The locking cylinder 14 has a stopper portion 14a formed of a stepped portion therein, and when the locking claw 15 protruding from the back cover 6 is inserted, the return portion 15b of the locking claw 15 and the back cover 6 are detached. Is provided so that it can be locked. The stopper portion 14a is formed with a tapered outer surface on which the locking claw 15 is inserted, so that the locking claw 15 can be easily inserted. Further, the stopper portion 14a has a slightly larger hole diameter than the shaft portion of the locking claw 15, and the cover outer peripheral direction (in the direction of the arrow in the figure, hereinafter abbreviated as the cover outer peripheral direction) orthogonal to the direction in which these stoppers engage. The entire back cover 6 is movable. For this reason, even if the positional relationship between the groove 16 of the core material 2 and the edge of the peripheral wall 6a of the back cover 6 is shifted toward the outer periphery of the cover, the entire back cover 6 is moved in the direction of the arrow in FIG. By shifting, it is possible to absorb this shift and keep it in an appropriate positional relationship. Further, the locking claw 15 is formed of, for example, a cylindrical body that is vertically divided into three, and is provided with a tapered return portion 15b in at least one, more preferably two of them, and is inserted into the locking cylinder 14. The return portion 15b is provided so that it will not be pulled out by engaging with the stopper portion 14a. At this time, it is preferable that the return portion 15b is disposed on a piece near the center of the back cover 6 so as to be engaged by applying a force so as to grip the core material 2 from four directions. Further, the base end portion of each locking claw 15 is provided with an abutting wall 15a with which the distal end of the locking cylinder 14 can abut. Therefore, the engagement between the locking claw 15 and the locking cylinder 14 occurs in a state where the locking claw 15 is hooked on the stopper portion 14a and a state where the tip of the locking cylinder 14 is in contact with the contact wall 15a. They can move freely between them. For this reason, the space | interval of the core material 2 and the back cover 6 can be changed within the range which the latching claw 15 and the latching cylinder 14 engage. Therefore, when only the core material 2 and the back cover 6 are combined without interposing the upholstery fabric 4 and the cushion material 3, the peripheral wall 6a of the back cover 6 has an outer peripheral wall 7 and an inner peripheral wall 11 as shown in FIG. It is located between and attached in a state where it does not touch anywhere. In the present embodiment, the locking mechanism 13 is provided at four locations, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the back cover 6 can be moored at least at one location, preferably at two or more locations.
[0017]
According to the backrest structure configured as described above, the edge of the overlying fabric is covered with the back cover 6 as follows.
[0018]
In order to attach the back cover 6 to the core material 2 covered with the upper covering 4, the locking claws 15 of the back cover 6 are inserted into the locking cylinders 14 of the core material 2 and engaged. At this time, even if there is a shift in the cover outer peripheral direction between the groove 16 and the back cover peripheral wall 6a due to poor molding accuracy, the shift is absorbed by the entire movement of the back cover 6 in the cover outer peripheral direction. The edge portion of the front end of the peripheral wall 6a of the back cover 6 and the groove 16 of the core material 2 face each other in an appropriate positional relationship, and the overstretch 4 interposed between the core material 2 and the back cover 6 is used as the core material. 2 into the groove 16 between the outer peripheral wall 7 and the inner peripheral wall 11. Here, even if the back cover 6 is pushed strongly against the core material 2, the front end of the locking cylinder 14 comes into contact with the contact wall 15 a of the back cover 6, and the back cover 6 and the core material 2 become It becomes inaccessible. Thereby, the magnitude | size of the force in which the peripheral wall 6a presses the upper fabric 4 can be stored in an appropriate range, and the cutting of the upper fabric 4 etc. can be prevented. On the other hand, the upper cover 4 and the cushion 3 that are pushed into the groove 16 between the outer peripheral wall 7 and the inner peripheral wall 11 by the peripheral wall 6a of the back cover 6 generate a force to push the back cover 6 back. To do. The back cover 6 is pushed back by the elasticity of the upholstery 4, and the return portion 15b of the locking claw 15 and the stopper portion 14a of the locking cylinder 14 are hooked and the peripheral wall 6a of the back cover 6 is The upper fabric 4 is pushed back until it comes into contact with the edge, and the upper fabric 4 and the edge portion at the tip of the peripheral wall 6a of the back cover 6 are brought into close contact with each other. In particular, when the cushion 3 is sandwiched between the upper fabric 4 and the core material 2 so as to close the groove 16, the upper fabric 4 stretched on the groove 16 is Since the elasticity of the upholstery 4 is increased, the upholstery 4 and the edge portion of the peripheral wall 6a can be reliably adhered.
[0019]
Therefore, even if a molding error or an assembling error occurs in the back cover 6 or the core material 2, no gap is generated between the upper fabric 4 and the peripheral wall 6a. Furthermore, when the shape of the peripheral wall 6a, the outer peripheral wall 7 and the inner peripheral wall 11 changes due to a load or a change with time, this deformation can be absorbed by the elasticity of the upholstery 4. For this reason, also in these cases, generation | occurrence | production of the clearance gap between the upper fabric 4 and the back cover 6 can be prevented.
[0020]
The above-described embodiment is an example of a preferred embodiment of the present invention, but is not limited thereto, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. For example, in this embodiment, the case where the upholstery presser structure is applied to the backrest of a chair has been mainly described. However, the present invention is not particularly limited to this, and can be applied to a seat portion, an armrest, or the like. Moreover, in this Embodiment, although the inner peripheral wall 11 is made higher than the outer peripheral wall 7 and the groove | channel 16 is formed, it is not specifically limited to this, conversely, the outer peripheral wall 7 side is made higher than the inner peripheral wall 11. Or it may be the same height. Further, the inner and outer peripheral walls 7 and 11 are formed substantially perpendicular to the substrate 2a of the core material 2, but they may be formed outwardly or inwardly and obliquely in parallel, and the groove 16 has a wedge shape. Thus, the inner and outer peripheral walls 7 and 11 may be formed outward and inward, respectively. Further, in the present embodiment, the peripheral walls 7 and 11 that also serve as reinforcing ribs are projected from the core material 2 to form the grooves 16, but the present invention is not particularly limited thereto, and the edge of the core material 2 is recessed. The groove 16 may be formed. Furthermore, the locking cylinder 14 and the locking claw 15 may be provided with a locking cylinder 14 on the back cover 6 side and a locking claw 15 on the core material 2 side, contrary to the present embodiment. Alternatively, the locking cylinder 14 and the locking claw 15 may be mixed in one member.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, in the upper support structure of the chair of the present invention, a groove is provided on the entire periphery of the peripheral portion on the back side of the core member so as to face the edge portion of the peripheral wall of the back cover. While wrapping the edge of the upholstery wrap around the groove , it is squeezed by tight means, and the support of the upholstery is made free by the groove, and the elasticity of the upper lining itself is exhibited, The core material and the back cover are fixed by pushing the overlying fabric interposed between the groove and the peripheral wall of the back cover into the groove, and the overstretching is performed by the elastic force of the overlying fabric stretched over the groove. Since the ground and the edge of the edge of the peripheral wall of the back cover are in intimate contact with each other, even if there is a dimensional error, shape variation or assembly error of the core material or back cover, Adheres closely to the edge of the back cover, and To prevent the occurrence of between can be finished in a beautiful appearance. For this reason, the manufacturing cost can be reduced by reducing the requirements for the molding accuracy and assembly accuracy of the back cover and the core material.
[0022]
In addition, simply attaching the back cover to the core material allows the upholstery to be pushed into the groove at the edge of the core material and complete the assembly without any gaps, making assembly work easier and more efficient. At the same time, quality is stable. Moreover, it is possible to use an overstretch with a thickness and material that could not be used in a structure in which the peripheral wall of the core and the peripheral wall of the back cover are fitted so as to sandwich the overstretch as in the past, There is an advantage that you can choose any type of upholstery.
[0023]
Further, even if the back cover presses the upper cover, the upper cover and the cushion do not escape to the groove of the core material and an excessive load is not applied, so that the cover is not damaged. For this reason, it is not necessary to carefully assemble the back cover during assembly work, and workability can be improved.
[0024]
In addition, according to the upholstery structure of the chair according to claim 2, even if there is a shift in the cover outer peripheral direction between the groove and the peripheral wall of the back cover due to poor molding accuracy, the cover of the back cover The displacement is absorbed by the entire movement in the outer peripheral direction, the peripheral wall of the back cover and the groove of the core material are opposed to each other in an appropriate positional relationship, and the overlying fabric interposed between the core material and the back cover is the core material. Therefore, the manufacturing cost can be reduced by further reducing the requirements for molding accuracy and assembly accuracy of the back cover and the core material.
Furthermore, according to the upholstery presser structure of the chair according to claim 3, the interval between the core member and the back cover can be changed within a range in which the locking claw and the locking cylinder are engaged, When the core material and the back cover are combined without interposing a cushioning material, the peripheral wall of the back cover is located between the grooves , and it is attached without touching anywhere, so the peripheral wall does not cover the upholstery The magnitude of the pressing force can be kept within an appropriate range, and cutting of the upholstery can be prevented.
Furthermore, according to the upholstery presser structure of the chair according to claim 4, the support of the upholstery is free in the groove portion between the outer peripheral wall and the inner peripheral wall, and it is appropriately selected depending on the elasticity of the cushion and its own tension. Elasticity can be exhibited, and adhesion between the upholstery and the edge portion of the peripheral wall can be reliably performed.
Furthermore, according to the overlayer land holding structure of the chair according to claim 5, by narrowing the overlayer locations supported in a free state in the groove portion between the outer wall and the inner peripheral wall inside the inner peripheral wall, an outer peripheral wall A large tension can be obtained at the groove between the inner wall and the inner peripheral wall.
