Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a chlorine-containing resin composition having excellent thermal stability and anti-coloring properties, and in particular, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and benzotriazole compounds are added to the chlorine-containing resin to improve thermal stability and anti-coloring properties. The present invention relates to a chlorine-containing resin composition.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Chlorine-containing resins such as polyvinyl chloride have various excellent properties, but if they are thermoformed, they have the disadvantage of causing decomposition with dehydrochlorination and coloring the product, thereby reducing the commercial value. ing. In order to improve this, conventionally, various heat stabilizers are added to improve the thermal stability of chlorine-containing resins. Examples of such a heat stabilizer include lead-based, organic tin-based, and metal soap-based stabilizers.
[0003]
Recently, however, the chlorine-containing resin composition has been required to be reduced in toxicity, and the conventional chlorine-containing resin compositions such as lead-based and cadmium-based resins are based on metal soaps such as barium-zinc or calcium-zinc. The focus is on changing to a low-toxic chlorine-containing resin composition. Such a reduction in poisoning is required in every aspect of the chlorine-containing resin composition. Examples of the hard chlorine-containing resin composition include extruded products such as water and sewage pipes, rain gutters, window frames, and plates. Examples of semi-rigid / soft chlorine-containing resin compositions include, for example, automobile interior materials, furniture, and calendar molded products such as films and sheets, and a wide range of chlorine-containing resin compositions. Has been done.
[0004]
The above-mentioned low-toxic metal soap stabilizers include, for example, barium-zinc or calcium-zinc metal soaps, inorganic salts, inorganic metal compounds, hydrotalcites, zeolites, polyhydric alcohols, polyvalent alcohols. A combination of an alcohol ester, an organic phosphite compound, a β-diketone, an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, a light stabilizer or an epoxy compound.
[0005]
Among these stabilizer components, hydrotalcites are excellent in thermal stability, and good thermal stability can be obtained when used in combination with barium-zinc or calcium-zinc metal soap stabilizers. It has been known. However, the method of stabilizing the chlorine-containing resin composition by adding these conventional stabilizer components does not pose any problem in terms of toxicity, but is still sufficient in preventing coloration due to deterioration during thermoforming. There wasn't. In addition, when hydrotalcite is blended in a large amount of chlorine-containing resin for thermal stability, foaming occurs due to processing at high temperature or reheating, resulting in loss of product value due to pinholes or bubbles in the product. The problem was occurring. For this reason, many proposals have heretofore been made to further improve the commercial value of chlorine-containing resin products by further adding various stabilizing aids to the above-mentioned stabilizer.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
According to the present invention, by adding 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and a benzotriazole compound in combination to a chlorine-containing resin composition, the thermal stability and hue of the chlorine-containing resin composition are simultaneously improved, and chlorine-containing It is intended to improve physical property degradation during thermal processing of resin products, and at the same time, improve the ease of color matching and commercial value.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
2-Mercaptobenzothiazole used in the present invention is a substance known as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber, and a benzotriazole-based compound is a substance known as a rust inhibitor, but these were added alone to a chlorine-containing resin composition. In the case, the former 2-mercaptobenzothiazole rather deteriorates the thermal stability of the chlorine-containing resin composition, and the latter benzotriazole-based compound significantly deteriorates the hue, which is converted into a chlorine-containing resin product. If so, a problem occurred. However, when the inventor adds 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and a benzotriazole-based compound together with hydrotalcite and β-diketone to the chlorine-containing resin composition, the thermal stability which is the above-mentioned respective drawbacks. And the hue can be improved at the same time, improving the deterioration of physical properties of the chlorine-containing resin product during thermal processing, making it easy to color and increasing the commercial value. Furthermore, according to the present invention, it was found that the thermal stability can be improved even if the amount of hydrotalcite added is reduced, so that the conventional foaming phenomenon seen by the addition of a large amount of hydrotalcite is also avoided. I was able to do it.

【Example】
Examples of the present invention will be described below.
Each component of Table 1 and Table 2 was blended and kneaded with an 8-inch roll at 170 ° C. for 3 minutes to prepare a test sheet having a thickness of 0.4 mm. The obtained polyvinyl chloride sheet was cut into 15 mm × 30 mm, and a test piece of each composition was placed on a glass plate one by one on a turn table of a gear oven at 195 ° C., every 10 minutes. One glass plate was extracted and evaluated by the coloring state and blackening time of the sample at this time.
[0041]
Evaluation of oven coloring property measured the hue of the 30th minute. The evaluation method was performed in 10 stages, and the non-colored one was set to 10, and the black changed was set to 1, and judged visually. Those with an evaluation of 4 or less in this evaluation were inferior as products and could not be commodities. Also, the above four test sheets are stacked to a thickness of about 1.5 mm, 190 ° C., 150 kg / cm.2The press was performed for 15 minutes under the conditions of: The evaluation method was 10 steps, the non-colored one was set to 10, the black changed one was set to 1, and the degree of coloring was judged visually. Those with an evaluation of 4 or less in this evaluation were inferior as products and could not be commercialized.
