Claims (20)
- チューブの長さ方向に沿って交互組成物を有する連続チューブであって、該連続チューブは、
前記連続チューブの長さ方向に沿って第1の組成物を有する少なくとも第1のセグメントと、
前記連続チューブの長さ方向に沿って第2の組成物を有する少なくとも第2のセグメントとを含み、
前記少なくとも第1のセグメントは、前記第2のセグメントに一体的に接合され、前記第1の組成物は、前記第2の組成物とは異なる、連続チューブ。 - 前記第1および第2のセグメントの特性が、少なくとも5%のレベルで異なるように、前記第1の組成物は、前記第2の組成物とは異なる、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1および第2のセグメントが、少なくとも5%異なるショアA硬さを有する、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1の組成物は第1のポリマーを含み、前記第2の組成物は第2のポリマーを含み、前記第1のポリマーは前記第2のポリマーとは異なる、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1のセグメントは、一定量の可塑剤を含むポリ塩化ビニル組成物を含み、前記第2のセグメントは、一定量の可塑剤を含むポリ塩化ビニル組成物を含み、前記第1のセグメント中の可塑剤の量は、前記第2のセグメント中の可塑剤の量よりも少ない、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記長さ方向に沿って前記第2のセグメントに一体的に接合された第3のセグメントを含む、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記長さ方向に沿って前記第2のセグメントに一体的に接合された第3のセグメントを含み、前記第1のセグメントと前記第2のセグメントは本質的に同じ組成物を有する、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1および第3のセグメントの組成物は、非水素化スチレン系TPEを含み、前記第2のセグメントの組成物は、水素化スチレン系TPEを含む、請求項7に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1および第3のセグメントは、少なくとも約70のショアA硬さを有し、前記第2のセグメントは、約60以下のショアA硬さを有する、請求項7に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1の組成物は、潤滑性ポリマーを含み、前記第2の組成物は、熱可塑性ポリウレタン(TPU)、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリエーテルブロックアミド、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1のセグメントと前記第2のセグメントとの間に遷移セグメントをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1の組成物は、スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマー(TPE)、非水素化スチレン系TPE、ポリウレタンエステル系、エーテル系、またはカーボネート系の熱可塑性樹脂、熱可塑性オレフィン(TPO)、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第2の組成物は、スチレン系TPE、非水素化および水素化スチレン系TPEおよびそれらのブレンド、ポリウレタンエステル系、エーテル系、またはカーボネート系の熱可塑性樹脂、EVA、熱可塑性ポリウレタン(TPU)とのEVAブレンド、LDPE、TPO、PVCなどとのポリエチレン酢酸ビニル(EVA)ブレンド、およびそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- 前記第1および第2の組成物は、異なる種類または量の添加剤を含む、請求項1に記載の連続チューブ。
- チューブの長さ方向に沿って交互組成物を有する連続チューブを形成する方法であって、前記方法は、
押し出し線上で第1のポンプによって前記連続チューブの長さ方向に沿って第1の組成物からチューブの第1のセグメントを押し出し、続いて前記押し出し線上で第2のポンプによって前記連続チューブの前記長さ方向に沿って第2の組成物から前記チューブの第2のセグメントを押し出すステップを含み、
前記第1および第2の組成物は異なり、前記第1および第2のセグメントは、前記第1および第2のセグメントの順次押し出しによって一体的に接合される、方法。 - 前記押し出し線上で第3のポンプによって前記連続チューブの前記長さ方向に沿って第3の組成物から前記チューブの第3のセグメントを押し出すステップをさらに含み、前記第2のセグメントと前記第3のセグメントは、一体的に接合されている、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のセグメントと前記第2のセグメントとの間に遷移セグメントを形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の組成物は前記第2の組成物とは異なり、前記第1のセグメントと前記第2のセグメントの特性は少なくとも5%のレベルで異なる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の組成物は、潤滑性ポリマーを含み、前記第2の組成物は、熱可塑性ポリウレタン、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリエーテルブロックアミド、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
