Abstract
【解決手段】突起部(例:シェブロン)を有するジェットエンジンノズル、噴射流、及び付随のシステムと方法が開示されている。一実施形態による方法は、ジェットエンジンによって気体の第1流を発生させ、後部方向に延びる複数の突起部を含む後縁周長を有するノズルを通して第1流を送達させ、加圧された流体の第2流を突起部に近接する第1流に噴射するステップを含む。他の実施形態では、別の混合強化装置(例:ボーテックス・ジェネレーター)が突起部に配設されている。突起部と混合強化装置の組み合わせにより、エンジン排気の騒音レベルが、突起部又は噴射流いずれか1つによって個別に達成可能なレベルよりも削減されることが予想される。

Claims (16)
- ジェットエンジンによって気体の第1流を発生させるステップと、
後部方向に延びる複数の突起部を備える後縁周長を有するノズルを通して第1流を送達するステップと、
流体の第2流を突起部に少なくとも近接する第1流に向けて噴射するステップと
を含む、航空機エンジンのノズル流を制御する方法。 - 突起部がおおむね三角形であり、三角形の先端領域がベース領域の後部に位置しており、第2流を噴射するステップが、第2流を、軸に沿って先端領域と並んだ位置において流れ方向に噴射するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第2流を噴射するステップが、先端領域の下流の位置で第2流を噴射するステップを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 第2流を噴射するステップが、第1流の流れ方向に対して非ゼロの方位角に第2流を方向付けするステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも部分的にエンジン操作パラメータ、航空機の飛行状態、またはこれらの両方に基づいて、第2流の噴射を変更するか、パルス状にするか又は停止するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも部分的にエンジン操作パラメータ、航空機の飛行状態、またはこれらの両方に基づいて、突起部をエンジンに対して移動させるステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1流によって、後縁周長において、平均値に対して周方向に変化するジェット流の乱流運動エネルギーの発生レベルが発生し、第2流を噴射するステップが、乱流運動エネルギー発生レベルが平均値よりも高い外周位置で、第2流を噴射するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第2流を噴射するステップが、エンジンのコア流の中へ第2流を噴射するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第2流を噴射するステップが、エンジンのバイパス流の中へ第2流を噴射するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 後部方向に延びる複数の突起部を備える外周部を有する出口があるジェットエンジン排気ノズルと、
加圧気体の供給源に接続され、突起部に少なくとも近接して配置された孔を有する複数の噴射路と
を備える、航空機システム。 - 突起部がおおむね三角形であり、三角形の先端領域がベース領域の後部に位置しており、個々の孔が、対応する先端領域と軸に沿って流れ方向に並んでいる、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 個々の孔が、ノズルの約一直径を上限とする距離の分、前記対応する先端領域の後部に位置している、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 突起部がおおむね三角形であり、三角形の先端部がベースの後部に位置しており、個々の孔が対応する先端領域と軸に沿って流れ方向に並び、該孔が対応する先端部の後部に位置し、対応する先端部に対して内向きに方位角をなして傾斜している、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 個々の突起部が、突起部が隣接するノズル流路に対して第1度だけ傾斜している第1位置と、突起部が隣接するノズル流路に対して第1度よりも小さい第2度だけ傾斜している第2位置の間で移動可能である、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 噴射路の少なくとも一つに接続して、当該少なくとも一つの噴射路を通る流れを制御する一以上の弁と、
一以上の弁に操作可能に接続し、エンジン稼動状態、飛行状態、又はこれらの両方に対応する入力値を受信し、且つ少なくとも部分的に該入力値に基づいて弁を誘導するようにプログラミングされたコントローラと
をさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。 - 突起部がノズルのコア流路とノズルのバイパス流路の間に配置される、請求項10に記載のシステム。
