Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 電力を発生する方法であって、
ガス化炉内で合成ガスストリームを発生させること、
熱及び煙道ガスを発生させるために前記合成ガスストリームを燃焼させることであって、前記合成ガスストリームは高温にある間に燃焼され、
前記煙道ガスは二酸化炭素を含有し、
前記合成ガスストリームの前記燃焼は、ボイラーに動作可能に連結される酸素輸送膜システム内で酸素含有ストリームから酸素を分離することによって維持される燃焼させること、
前記熱をボイラー給水に間接的に伝達することによって前記ボイラー内で蒸気を生成すること、
前記酸素輸送膜ボイラーに動作可能に連結され、蒸気サイクルの蒸気タービンシステムによって前記蒸気からエネルギーを抽出し、前記蒸気タービンシステムに連結される発電機によって前記エネルギーを電力に変換すること、及び、
二酸化炭素リッチストリームを生成するために前記煙道ガスストリームを純化することを含む方法。 - 前記合成ガスストリームの揮発性内容物を酸化し、前記合成ガスストリームを加熱するために、前記合成ガスストリームを燃焼させる前に少なくとも1つの膨張ステージの膨張器内で前記合成ガスストリームを膨張させ、前記合成ガスストリームを膨張させる前に、少なくとも1つの部分酸化ステージ内で前記合成ガスストリームを部分酸化させることをさらに含み、前記膨張器は、別の発電機に連結されて、さらなる電力を発生し、前記部分酸化ステージは、前記合成ガスストリームの部分酸化を維持するために酸素を発生する酸素輸送膜反応器によって形成される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの膨張ステージ及び前記少なくとも1つの部分酸化ステージは、第1部分酸化ステージとそれに続く第1膨張ステージ、第2部分酸化ステージとそれに続く前記第1膨張ステージ及び第2膨張ステージとそれに続く第2部分酸化ステージである請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記合成ガスストリームの前記燃焼は不完全であり、前記煙道ガスストリーム内に燃料種が存在することをもたらし、
前記燃料種は、前記煙道ガスストリームから分離され、前記少なくとも1つの部分酸化ステージに対して再利用される請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記二酸化炭素は、
前記煙道ガスストリームを冷却して、冷却済み煙道ガスストリームを生成し、
前記冷却済み煙道ガスストリームから二酸化硫黄を除去し、
前記煙道ガスストリームから前記二酸化硫黄を除去した後、前記煙道ガスストリームを圧縮し、次に、前記煙道ガスストリームを乾燥器内で乾燥させて、約90容積%もの純度を有する二酸化炭素含有ストリームを生成し、
前記二酸化炭素含有ストリームをさらに圧縮して、二酸化炭素製品ストリームを生成することによって純化される請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記合成ガスストリームの前記燃焼は不完全であり、前記煙道ガスストリーム内に燃料種が存在することをもたらし、
前記二酸化炭素は、
前記煙道ガスストリームを冷却して、冷却済み煙道ガスストリームを生成し、
前記冷却済み煙道ガスストリームから二酸化硫黄を除去し、
前記煙道ガスストリームから前記二酸化硫黄を除去した後、前記煙道ガスストリームを圧縮し、次に、前記煙道ガスストリームを乾燥器内で乾燥させて、約90容積%もの純度を有する二酸化炭素含有ストリームを生成し、
前記二酸化炭素含有ストリームをさらに圧縮して、二酸化炭素製品ストリームを生成することによって純化され、
前記燃料種は、乾燥された後で、且つ、さらに圧縮される前に前記煙道ガスストリームから分離され、前記少なくとも1つの部分酸化ステージに対して再利用される請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記ガス化炉は、酸素によって維持される石炭のガス化によって前記合成ガスストリームを発生する請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記石炭の前記ガス化は、前記蒸気サイクルによって発生した蒸気を利用する移動床ガス化炉において行われる請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記蒸気サイクルは、極超臨界蒸気サイクルである請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記ガス化炉は、酸素によって維持される石炭のガス化によって前記合成ガスストリームを発生する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記石炭の前記ガス化は、前記蒸気サイクルによって発生した蒸気を利用する移動床ガス化炉において行われる請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記蒸気サイクルは、極超臨界蒸気サイクルである請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ガス化炉は噴流床ガス化炉であり、
前記合成ガスストリームは、加熱されたボイラー給水ストリームとの間接的熱交換によって冷却されて、蒸気ストリームを生成し、
前記蒸気ストリームは、前記ボイラー内で生成される蒸気と結合される請求項2に記載の方法。 - 酸素輸送膜システム内の酸素含有ストリームから酸素を分離することによって維持される前記合成ガスストリームの前記燃焼は完全ではなく、
前記合成ガスストリームの前記燃焼は、酸素含有ストリームの添加によって完全にされる請求項2に記載の方法。
