Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の発光装置は、青色LEDチップのような発光素子と、近似した比重を有する2種類以上の蛍光体と、これらの蛍光体のうちで最も比重が大きい蛍光体の20%以上の比重を有する透明樹脂を含む蛍光体含有樹脂層とを備えている。2種類以上の蛍光体は、互いに類似した形状を有することが好ましく、さらに近似した平均粒径(D50が7〜20μm)を有することが好ましい。

Description
極めて近似した比重(差が0.2以下)を有する3種類の蛍光体を、最も比重が大きい蛍光体の比重の20%以上の比重を有するシリコーン樹脂に混合し、蛍光体分散液を調製した。そして、この蛍光体分散液を使用して、図1に示す構成を有するLEDランプを3サンプル作製し、色温度5000K付近での色調のばらつきを調べた。
各蛍光体間の比重の差が実施例1よりも大きいが、十分に近似した比重を有する(比重の差が2以下)3種類の蛍光体を、最も比重が大きい蛍光体の比重の20%以上の比重を有するシリコーン樹脂に混合し、蛍光体分散液を調製した。すなわち、ピーク波長が525nmで比重が4の緑色蛍光体(粒子が針状でD50が7μm)と、ピーク波長が562nmで比重が5.0の黄色蛍光体(粒子形状が球形でD50が15μm)、およびピーク波長が650nmで比重が3の赤色蛍光体(粒子形状が球形でD50が8μm)を、比重1のシリコーン樹脂中にそれぞれ混合し、分散させた。
Claims (2)
- 発光素子と;
透明樹脂と前記発光素子から放射された光により励起されて主波長が異なる可視光を発光する2種類以上の蛍光体をそれぞれ含み、前記発光素子上に形成されてなる層であり、前記2種類以上の蛍光体は近似した比重を有し、かつ前記透明樹脂は、前記蛍光体のうちで最も比重が大きい蛍光体の比重の20%以上の比重を有するものである蛍光体含有樹脂層と;
を具備することを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記2種類以上の蛍光体の間の比重の差が2以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の発光装置。
