Abstract
Description
(i)懸濁液中に浸漬させた透過性中空膜壁を隔てて圧力差を与え、懸濁液を多孔性中空膜外側表面に適用して、膜壁を通して濾過を起こさせ、濾過を持続させ、
(a)懸濁液の一部が、中空膜内腔から透過液として取り出されるために、壁膜を通過し、かつ
(b)少なくとも固形物の一部が、中空膜上に、または中空膜中に、またはそうでなければ膜周囲の液体内に懸濁固形物として保持され、
(ii)膜細孔を通して内腔内の透過液を置換するために、膜内腔内で透過液にバブルポイント未満の圧力でガスを用いることにより、膜細孔をバックウォッシし、
(iii)下記a〜d:
a.壁膜の反対側の圧力よりも高い設定基準まで、壁膜内腔側面でのガス圧力を上昇させ、
b.膜内腔側面を隔離し、
c.設定期間にわたり壁膜を通過するガスにより生じる壁膜内腔側面でのガス圧力の低下を測定し、
d.膜の完全性を判定するための設定値に対する圧力の低下を測定して比較する、
ことにより、膜の完全性試験を実施し、
(iv)液体で膜内腔を充填し、および
(v)壁膜を通して濾過を再開する、
ことを含む、試験方法を提供する。
Claims (4)
- 懸濁液から固形物を濾過するために用いられる透過性中空膜の完全性試験方法であって、
(i)懸濁液中に浸漬させた透過性中空膜壁を隔てて圧力差を与え、前記懸濁液を多孔性中空膜外側表面に適用して、膜壁を通して濾過を起こさせ、濾過を持続させ、
(a)懸濁液の一部が、中空膜内腔から透過液として取り出されるために、壁膜を通過し、かつ
(b)少なくとも固形物の一部が、中空膜上に、または中空膜中に、またはそうでなければ膜周囲の液体内に懸濁固形物として保持され、
(vi)膜細孔を通して内腔内の透過液を置換するために、膜内腔内で透過液にバブルポイント未満の圧力でガスを用いることにより、膜細孔をバックウォッシし、
(vii)下記a〜d:
a.壁膜の反対側の圧力よりも高い設定基準まで、壁膜内腔側面でのガス圧力を上昇させ、
b.膜内腔側面を隔離し、
c.設定期間にわたり壁膜を通過するガスにより生じる壁膜内腔側面でのガス圧力の低下を測定し、
d.前記膜の完全性を判定するための設定値に対する圧力の低下を測定して比較する、
ことにより、膜の完全性試験を実施し、
(viii)液体で膜内腔を充填し、および
(ix)壁膜を通して前記濾過を再開する、
ことを含む、試験方法。 - 完全性試験を膜のおのおののバックウォッシ中に行う、請求項1記載の懸濁液から固形物を濾過するために用いられる透過性中空膜の完全性試験方法。
- 完全性試験を設定回数の膜のバックウォッシ後に行う、請求項1記載の懸濁液から固形物を濾過するために用いられる透過性中空膜の完全性試験方法。
- 設定値が、LRV値4に相当する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の懸濁液から固形物を濾過するために用いられる透過性中空膜の完全性試験方法。
